I went there for lunch recently for the first time in years, and the prices were the same as 7–8 years ago. The free side dishes were also delicious.

These days, dining out is so expensive that it's hard to choose a restaurant, but I think the owner made a very wise decision. When you live generously and share with others, you'll be blessed and make plenty of money.

They’ve brought back the original flavors, and the service was great too. I’ll always be happy to open my wallet for food like this. Try having a bowl of soondae soup with a shot of soju, like you see on Korean TV — it’s the true taste of Korea.

I also tried the red pork pozole and was ok for my standards,but for my American friend it was a 10. The bigest disappointment was the Tamale de Rajas ( cheese with jalapeño slices) it had no cheese, but had tomato, onion and jalapeño. I would not recommend it. Very nice casual dining place in a shopping center right across from Stater Bros on the corner of Edinger and DiFairview. Love the Chicken Bowl with noodles and a crispy egg roll in the bowl. “Thanks to my son in law we got to try a new spot. How Rowland Heights has changed since the 80’s. Just love the rich food scene. Be forewarned. Friday and Saturday nights the parking can be very challenging. Once seated service was quick. But here is how it works. You order your broth selection an some premium proteins online. The rest is pretty much self service from the various refrigerators. Seafood, beef tendon, beef with cilantro, gizzards, plenty of mushrooms, and veggies. You select what you want and take it back to your table and immerse in the broth. Feels very cafe style which I just enjoyed. Totally a find. I will be back.“

“Tang was exactly what we were craving after a night out. The portions were generous, and the side dishes complemented the meal well. Since the soups already include rice noodles, I skipped out on the extra rice.

We ordered the soondae guk and the galbi tang. The galbi was rich and flavorful. The highlight of the meal was the soondae (blood sausage). The texture was different, filled with a mixture of pork blood and noodles.

Overall, it was a great dining experience and a perfect choice for a morning comfort meal. Definitely a spot worth returning to.“

“I am not Korean but I love this restaurant. They serve true comfort food. The galbi tang is so tasty as well as the braised beef. Now that they started serving rice cake soup with dumpling, all of my Korean comfort food is in one place. Yay!“

“This is a small family own restaurant that provides very authentic Korean food. The location is a bit weird especially when you visit during the night.
At the parking lot, we hesitated and thought we might go to the wrong place. However, we love the food there. We ordered bul-nak jun-gol. The casserole is heartwarming especially eating in a winter night. The side dishes are also great. The variety combined with the octopus and bulgogi definitely gave us a nutritious and delicious meal. We will visit again when going to that area.“

“This is a soondubu (spicy silky soft tofu soup) restaurant like BCD chain. You can order combo menu with a meat or fish entree with a version of soondubu soup. You can select the spicy level and toppings for the soup. I thought the soup is really good but the meat dishes except for the LA rib were too sweet. Ban Chan (side dishes) were just average. For Diamond Bar I think this outlet is fine. There is plenty of parking in the shopping mall lot.

It was raining so perfect to have some hot pho and VNese coffee and Thai tea and orange juice. The place is packed and we waited for 15mins and got a shared table with another group. Easy order with friendly service but waited abit (understandable since it packed) but within 20mins we got our foods. The prices are still the same but I think the noodle is less than b4, I could be wrong but either way, it hit all the right spots in the body. “A small catering, food to go shop, 3 small tables inside, 3 outside. Their banh canh cua, udon crab noodle, is fantastic in quality and quantity, probably the best in oc, $17 eat in, special $8 only to go on Friday, a great deal.

The crab udon has a lump of minced crab, 3 large shrimps, large slices of boiled pork. The broth is rich, tasty, delish, no fishy odor, no excess sugar, light, nice, clean, not greasy and gooey like those in other shops. I ate it to the last spoon, and I am a picky eater.

If taken home, the udon noodle should be recooked in the broth for about 5 minutes to soften up.

They have a menu of about 30 traditional Viet dishes, hopefully as good and healthy as their crab udon. Will definitely come back and try them out.“
