“I want to take this time to applaud & complement 2 things. First I want to acknowledge Minnie, the manager in charged during my visit. She was very polite, warm & professional. She made sure my coffee is fresh & super attentive. Also the crews, David & Mari, they were very attentive & polite. Second, the place was very clean & cozy. They did a good job keeping the place well. I had a wonderful lunch here. God bless you all !“

“The ambiance is top notch whether you're inside or outside. It's my favorite spot for prime rib in the LA area. Parking can be difficult in the main lot, but they have a lower lot and valet parking

Food/Drink- 4 stars
Truffle fries- these were superb. definitely order

Escargot- a bit disappointed by it. The snails had more bitterness than expected

Prime rib- this was divine. Every slice of the prime rib was so flavorful. I love how you can request it to be cut thinly into English cuts. The creamed corn and creamed spinach were very good, and I appreciated that it wasn't overwhelmed with heavy cream, like a lot of other steakhouses. I was a bit disappointed by the Yorkshire pudding, which came out a bit dry

desserts- we tried the chocolate profiteroles and strawberry cheesecake. Both were pretty good / standard steakhouse quality

Service- 4 stars
Our server, Matt, was excellent. My only complaint was the pacing, as we did wait a long time between our appetizers and entrees.

The ddukbokki was served on a heating dish so it would stay hot throughout the meal. My kids devoured the dooki rice and cheese balls. The chicken was the sleeper hit though... “I personally love their jajangmyeon. The best jajangmyeon I ever had was at Yong Moon Lu @ Rowland Heights (please try their gan-jajangmyeon/간짜장), but this one is pretty good too. The jjamppong is not bad either.

“I stopped by after many years and I am so glad I did. The quality of the food truly impressed me. The barbecued pulled pork sandwich was incredibly tender and packed with rich, satisfying flavor. I also enjoyed a perfectly balanced Amaretto Sour that complemented the meal beautifully. The potato salad was fresh and delicious, adding the perfect touch to the plate. Everything tasted wonderful and made the visit completely worth it. A solid five star experience.“

Be mindful of their schedule for lunch as they open for only three hours from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.“

(not dry at all!) the yakisoba noodles was a nice addition as it absorbed the tonkatsu sauce and the cole slaw dressing! I also loved the brioche bread! A perfect touch. “The place hit the spot for our jjajangmyeon craving. We were a little iffy first because I am a 짜장면 snob and the place is a pocha restaurant but my gf and I really loved the food and the service. We got 깐풍새우 & 쟁반짜장. Sweet n spicy shrimp & jjajangmyeon platter. The shrimp was also god level good. We will be back to try different dishes and drinks! This is for the peeps who have yet to try…do it. Tastes amazing and you won’t regret it. Still not sure how to cut down the large pieces of chicken in the broth with chopsticks, but that’ll be for my second visit.“

“Came here to try 88 Katsu and I’m already planning my next visit. The inside is super clean with plenty of seating, and I loved that you can order directly from a tablet at your table — so easy and convenient.

I got the Jumbo 88 Katsu and wow… it was HUGE. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and definitely left me stuffed. I also tried the cheese katsu and it was so good — melty, savory, and perfectly fried. Everything comes out on a tray with a full spread of sides like kimchi, curry, soup, and different sauces, which made the meal feel extra satisfying. The rice + curry combo was honestly a highlight for me.

I also ordered the zaru udon, which is a cold udon dish. It was light, refreshing, and really tasty — a nice contrast to the heavier katsu. That said, the jumbo katsu completely stole the show.

Overall, in my opinion, this is the best katsu in OC. Great portions, great quality, and a comfortable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back.“
