“Everything was great, my only complaint is the enchiladas de mole con pollo had chicken that was very very dry, I felt like it ruined the dish but that’s okay because honestly the whole experience made up for it but you know the whole point of going out to eat is having good food and it would have been perfect if it wasn’t for the chicken.“
“Been coming here as a regular for a few months now and have had the pleasure of being served by their friendly crew each time. Front of house staff are always on top of it; attentive, efficient, kind, the whole 9. Back of house has never done me wrong, food is always delicious and out in minutes. Environment is very comfortable and inviting, I always love coming here and having little moments with everyone and experiencing a sense of community, which Nick’s truly is a pillar of, in my book.“
“First time there last night! They were absolutely amazing!! Server bartender chef everything was 10/10!! Atmosphere, attentiveness, friendliness, food!! I highly highly recommend this restaurant! Family of 7 from Texas after a long Disney day and this was the best to end our day!“
“This spot is so cozy and warm. The staff was super helpful and kind and generous.Home made feel and taste. Not bougie but cozy!Definitely recommend!Vegetarian options: Ask for the beans with no cheese on it! Rice and beans, they chopped up fajita veggies, avocado, tomatoes. Home made taste.“
“this was my husband's and mine's first time coming here. I will admit this has really good food! The staff was so friendly and the place reminds me of a classic burger-like place, which we both enjoy a lot. We will definitely be coming back again. Totally recommend this place!“
“Went in to celebrate my birthday with a group of 16 guest and we were comfortably seated. The server was attentive and did great serving us. The ambiance was very chill. Everything we ordered came out in a good time and everything was tasteful. Overall we had an enjoyable time and will love to go back.“
“This is quite a hidden spot in Fullerton for solid tacos. It’s a definitely a value for taco Tuesday as they still sell it for $1.75 cents per tacos and they may give you a 7% discount if paying it with cash. So yeah, it’s probably one of the few places left around the area where you do save while still enjoying some tacos every Tuesday. There’s the more popular and a bit bigger de anda across but they don’t have taco Tuesday, also a bit pricier as well. They’re just more convenient with probably the only one opening past midnight on weekend. Otherwise Rivera has one of the most value taco deal in town“
“The tacos are the best ! I love that they fill the taco with a lot of meat. Very juicy and the buche is the best from this place! I have never tasted the campechana before but it is the bomb!!! Only issue is the parking. But everything is pretty great!“
“Great restaurant, event space and nightclub. Our family especially loves their Taco Tuesday and Weekend Brunch. Their food is absolutely delicious with great vegetarian and vegan optionsVegetarian options: Many dishes have the option of choosing soyrizo or portobello mushroom and shallots as a protein alternative.Wheelchair accessibility: Very close accessible parking and restaurant has a very open floor plan.“
“Ordered a cheese omelette. The chef in the back asked if I would like sauce and he added a chili verde sauce with pico de Gallo. Hands down the best omelette I have had.Great service all around and delicious food. Hard to come by now a days but they aced it here.“
“Very good service and very friendly people and the bad comments that people post are not true, what people post is not true because the waitresses and the cooks are very quick to serve them. I give them all a 10 and I give the owner a 10 too because It has very good, friendly employees. We have gone to eat many times and the times we have gone, they treated us very kindly. Today I stopped by a friendly one and in 5 minutes it was ready.“
“The birria tacos were really good and reasonable price . Went after 7pm so happy hour ends at 7pm.Parking: Parking in the parking structure , or on the street if you can find it. Park at your own risk at Citibank bank after hours is open and free but they might tow since it’s private property“
“I've been to a few Super Mex restaurants. This is by far the biggest and cleanest 1. The food was great and our waitress was very helpful. It was a late dinner rush so it was pretty busy when we got there. But within 5 minutes of being seated our order was taken. And the food arrive very soon after.“
“It was one of Kobes favorite places to get mexican food and the workers there can tell u stories of when he would come in. Besides all that, the food is great and good portion size for the price. I was brought here by a foody and i bring everyone i respect and they all go back. They used to make their own chips and tortillas. I think they still do they just dont have a seperate counter for selling them anymore. Its a pretty big place (takes up 2 suites) with alot of seating. Just not a nice restaurant where u take ur family. Its good for take out and for a quick bite of really really good mexican food. Its kinda like half street, half sitdown with deep mexican roots. From the bay is wat i sayParking: One or two rows u park diagnolly. One way on the side closest to the storefront. I believe u can go either way in the middle but i forget. If u really cant find parking u can park by stater bros or on the opposite side.“
“This place use to occupy an old Pioneer Chicken but recently moved around the corner to a newer, larger building. The food is served in large portions and is full of flavor. Top them off with their homemade salsas and you're good to go!“
“First time at Garcia's SOB and had a great meal. Went there last night with about 9 friends. Everyone enjoyed their food. We had everything from the wet burrito, shrimp diablo, carne asada plate, and ceviche. Nice portions at a very reasonable price. Also enjoyed a nice cold beer. To top it off, there service was fantastic! Highly recommend the restaurant and wish them much success.“
“I really like Taco Tuesdays so I eat tacos almost every Tuesday. I have tried tacos from quite a few taco places ranging from Orange County to San Diego over the years. When it comes to tacos, I prefer the traditional Mexican-style with meat, onions, cilantro, and salsa piled high on a corn tortilla over the Americanized versions loaded with lettuce, cheese, and other toppings.Even though I am not Mexican and have never actually been to Mexico to authentically experience tacos, I still pride myself on knowing what good, flavorful tacos taste like.Ponchos Tacos is located in a shopping mall in an industrial complex so it's not directly accessible from the main road (State College Blvd) resulting in fewer visitors due to the location in a less crowded shopping mall. When I visited, I was the only customer. Based on the location, it seemed like a place focused more on lunch than dinner business. The interior atmosphere was nothing fancy, very much a common street restaurant vibe focused on takeout. However, Ponchos Tacos' carne asada tacos were the most delicious I've had in the past few years. The prices are also cheap - Taco Tuesdays are $1.75 per taco. But the taco flavor is unmatched. The beans were also tasty. However, the rice was too salty for my taste.Overall, if you are in search of a delicious taco in the East Fullerton area, I highly recommend Ponchos Tacos. And when you pick up your order, don't forget to hit the salsa bar next to the counter to load up your tacos with some extra flavor!“
“Thoroughly impressed!! My entire party of 8 who got to enjoy this delicious food cannot stop raving about it. I hosted a dinner party for my grandpa's birthday last month. My family loves Juan Pollo, but I wanted something a bit closer since we live in Fullerton. I am so glad we picked this! Everything was phenomenal. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. The beans were perfectly cooked and very tasty. I was worried about the potato salad. I am such a huge fan of Juan Pollo's and any competitors never tastes as good to me. Let me tell you, this was the best potato salad ever!! SO DANG GOOD! I tried a bite of the rice, also yummy. I wanted to keep my starch as the potato salad, since I had a few servings ;) I did not pick up the food, but my husband and grandpa said service was great. Everything was top notch, and we are now loyal customers.“
“I was pleasantly surprised by the tastiness of the Double Chicken Tostada, the Shredded Chicken Tacos, and the Shrimp Tacos. They were better than I normally expect from a large fast food chain. I personally like the Avocado Salsa to go with them. It's listed as hot, but my rating would be medium at most.“
“I found this place and I'm so happy it's a hidden gem really! it's fun to dine there for me because it's kinda outdoors but you can order take out as well. I ordered the tacos and chilaquiles they were so good and everything was fresh and the salsa was perfect spicy just enough not to mention the customer service was excellent. I also saw people eating the menudo and they said it was delicious it was served in a big bowls like something you see at grandmas house or home looked so tasty! I'm not sure if they serve that during the week but Saturdays and Sundays for sure but regardless there's plenty of other amazing things on the menu and I really can't wait to go back and try them please try this place out you won't be disappointed.“
“Family owned business, food is always really good and fresh, only complaint is that their biggest asset was once "bang for your buck." Prices have skyrocketed way beyond reason in the last 3 years. You used to be able to get a bangin quesadilla with a double scoop of guac for 4.99. It's 11 or 12 bucks now. That's over a 100% increase, which is extremely disproportionate to the inflation rate. So most of the items you really don't get any value on. Food will definitely taste better than like Del taco food, but the prices are whack. Tv usually features a soccer match.“
“I've hit this place up twice in the last couple of months. Super late hours when craving Mexican food and it's been delicious every single time. The nice thing is you can call your order in ahead of time. It's ready when you get “
“Before I get started on how awesome the food was, I want to share that the staff here is just wonderful. The people that helped us today were so sweet and took such pride in their food.So my husband and I ordered:- A la carte 2 chicken street tacos and 2 asada street tacos- 3 taco combo with 2 chicken tacos and 1 al pastor taco- horchata- chips and creamy guacamoleEverything we ordered was made fresh. The meat had so much flavor and was nice and moist. I could even taste a hint of pineapple in the al pastor. The fideo tasted like my grandmas ?The beans had the most perfect bacon flavor. The horchata has a rich strong flavor. It was not watered down like most places do.The chips were crisp, fresh and perfectly salted. The creamy guacamole was unlike any guac I have had before. This is what guacamole wants to grow up to be. It had an even creamy texture and was so flavorful.I cannot wait to go back This is honestly the best taco spot any where around here.“
“Great little market spot with a little bit of everything you may need.I grew up going to this spot and it's changed ownership but has remained a reliable spot for tacos, meat, beer, sodas, spices, and so much more.I see them and their rotisserie chickens almost every Sunday morning, depending on the weather.I like that they have frijoles y arroz available for a quick grab, as well as other lunch and dinner combos.“
“The most delicious and fresh authentic Mexican food! From Mexican food tacos burritos wet burritos, Mulitas Gotditas, birria, menudo, tortas ceviche and fish tacos , So much variety hamburgers buffalo wings sandwiches , soups caldo pollo , caldo de res even delicious cocktails MICHELADAS , MARGARITAS AND ICE COLD BEER!!!! The coolest place to bring a date or bring your family- have a world of Mexican & American authentically food!“
“Love this place, the burritos are twice as expensive as they once were when I started eating here 20 years ago, but the combo breakfast burritos are still massive, to the point where you won't need to eat again that day...Also, don't try to eat a whole one of these in a single sitting unless you're an expert, your stomach will stretch, and you will need assistance moving afterwards“
“We love to come here and enjoy a healthy meal. Any plate here will keep you full and satisfied. The atmosphere is chill and mello, hehehe trying to stay with the Wahoo's theme dude. However, the Kale Kai salad is one of my favs and also the fish enchiladas with green sauce are to die for. Everything is still reasonably priced yay!!!!“
“Walking into this restaurant is like being transported to a restaurant in Mexico City. Greeted in Spanish, a novel blaring on the TV. The menu had the staples that all taquerias have, but then I spotted the Pambazo. A Chorizo and Papas sandwich dipped in red guajillo sauce and fried. My wife ordered the taquitos which did not disappoint. Super friendly staff, fronted by a young man who I suspect will run the restaurant one day. Will definitely be back. Thank you!Kid-friendliness: Lots of space between tables.“
“Best Mexican food around!!! We tried this place for the first time and it definitely wont be our last. The food was deeeelicious!! My chicken tacos were full of flavor and so tender. My hubby had shrimp and he said it was the best shrimp he ever had. The service was amazing too. Tawnya was so attentive to our needs. I would definitely recommend and will be back for sure“
