“Just found this hidden gem! ALL their meat (beef-chicken-lamb) is HALAL!!! ❤️❤️ Love their menu, burgers/sliders, tacos, Kababs, shawarma, seafood, vegetarian and so much more! Many healthy options!! Such great services!! And loved the ambience especially the patio seating!!“
“We were originally going to go to El Farolito around the corner but glad we didn't! This place did not disappoint; great food and great service. I ordered a chicken and steak skillet 10/10. The seasoning was so good the veggies were fresh and complementary. I was expecting subpar rice & beans like most places boy was I wrong. Our server was very nice and attentive always swinging by making sure we had everything we needed. I definitely recommend to everybody.“
“We go to Mi Casita about once a week - everyone who works there is so friendly and efficient and the food is delicious. The tacos, the fajitas and especially the Mi Casita molcajete are great and I love the blended margaritas. I just left and I already can't wait to go back!“
“Always great. The food is fresh and homemade. My 88 year old mom and I each order the fish with double vegetables (w/o rice)for lunch or dinner. We shared the scrambled eggs with vegetables and a blueberry waffle for breakfast. Plenty of food on every plate!“
“This was a pleasant experience. A friendly, patient staff who were on the spot when we needed them. The food was prepared well and tasty. The dining room was well maintained and comfortable, although not quite as "Mexican" in decor as many other Mexican restaurants I've visited. Overall, this place is good. I'm on a short vacation here in south-eastern LA, but I'm definitely going revisit here before I go home.“
“301 Cafe is Placentia's oldest restaurant and still serves the same excellent, authentic Mexican dishes that late founder Maggie had on the menu for decades. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is that of a vintage bar and grill from the 1930s-1940s era. There is a long bar on one side of the restaurant and tables and booths on the opposite side. It's a family friendly place so no hesitations about bringing the kids along.“
“Tortas & Bionicos "nice"! I love a good torta: so filling and inviting. I've been looking for my local torta spot and I've found it here. The inside is very fun; very colorful with a fun mural of the nice torta crab guy. Don't be intimidated by the Spanish menus, it's time to practice your Espanol and if you need help, the friendly staff lives up to its name. The food itself is delicious and generous for a great value. But here's the thing - the salsas are the real stand outs. The salsa bar lets you mix and match: I love the most spicy and the least spicy kinds. The different salsas you use on your torta changes the complexity and flavor profile and they're all good. I can see myself bringing my whole family. My mother-in-law would love the menudo, my brother would love the birria, and my little nephew would enjoy the quesadilla. Fullerton and Placentia is spoiled to have this little place. Go eat here! Food: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Experience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Good for: A weekend lunch. Fueling up! Familia. Recommends: Asada Torta. Load up on salsas.“
“I'm so mad...... at HOW GOOD THE FOOD IS !!!! every single food item I have tried is VERY flavorful and Delectable ! Delicious. You thought your mommas home made beans were good? Wait till you go here. OH! And please try the GREEN SALSA chicken enchiladas !! And REQUEST the avocado green salsa dip on the side !!! Thanks guys, see y'all next time!!“
“I am so in love with this restaurant, the ambiance is amazing! This place is perfect for a girls day brunch. The decor is so cute and would be perfect to take content. I can't believe they have a flight of iced coffee and hot lattes. My fave food is the green toast and the verde Chilaquiles.“
“A very nice, smaller sit down Mexican restaurant. I had chicken enchiladas, rice and beans. The chips were good with the salsa a bit on the spicy side. Serving size was above average. Margaritas at $6.99 were fair priced, tart and tasty. Dining area had tables and booths. Service was fast. Nice selection of dinners and ala cart. Plenty of shared parking in the strip mall area.“
“This update is long overdue. I have been coming to Q Tortas my whole life, literally. This has been my family's go-to place to bring anyone visiting (as it is right down the street from their house). The food is simple, no frills, extras etc. but if you're in the mood for some tasty quick Mexican food this is the place. I love the carnitas sopes, bean & cheese burritos but the ultimate are the flautas. Don't forget to get some pico de gallo on the side (or as its been called for years, chunky salsa).“
“Can't say nothing wrong about this place! The food was good and I like the whole old downtown atmosphere I don't really go down these places but I will more often! The food was good I had the chilaquiles and they were delicious so if you're looking for some Old Town Mexican food this would be the place to go!Parking: It's in a area where there's a lot of businesses stores and restaurants so it's a hard place to find parking in the street definitely“
“The carne asada is really good and tender, the coffee with cinnamon is yummy. The menudo and pozole are ok, missing a bit of flavor but it’s ok. The service was really good . If they add a bit more flavor to the caldos this spot would be a 9/10 but currently I’m giving it a 7/10.“
“One the best teriyaki spots in all of CA!It's always cooked to perfection. It's fresh and just has a clean flavor that would make me return for that taste of comfort food. They used to be off a small strip fall in Fullerton, but got demolished to make way for the train.Chili cheese fries are a must! There are two sizes and I love how they're generous with the chili and cheese. I disdain chili fries that don't have enough chili.Burgers are good and love the shredded lettuce.Pros1. Teriyaki plate and chili cheese fries area must!2. Ranch is so good here! It’s also good on the teriyaki! The owner was always nice when I would dine in here. He would acknowledge me and thank me for my business.ConsNone“
“Los Gallos.. this is while in the wall Mexican family style Mexican restaurant you e been looking for. The food is exceptional, and the generational family run staff is very friendly and helpful.I love their chile verde burrito, wet with green sauce.. it’s a go to almost every visit here, but the chips and salsa are very good too.My friends and family all have their favorite plates as well, but the best thing about this place is spot is their prices. For those who don’t know, they still have their prices set from the 80s.. or at least it feels this way. It’s a funny thing to think you could grab a Del Taco burrito for more money than an authentic, tasty, sizable, delicious one only one block away at Los Gallos.I normally tip much larger here to help them out, as they, in my humble opinion, do not charge enough for their food.“
“The staff was friendly the guy at the register had a permanent smile. They made eye contact, made me feel comfortable, pleasant personalities, no loud music to cause misunderstanding.Great prices with a tremendous amount of food. I shared my burrito with a friend and it filled both of our stomachs. I gotta say the carne asada burrito was off the freaking hook! Bomb diggity, No doubt! This place is ♥️ by this white girl. ??Parking: Depends on the date and time. It's a shot in the dark like most shopping centers.“
“The tacos at Cocina Azteca Grill are a culinary delight. The tortillas are perfectly soft yet sturdy, providing an ideal vessel for the flavorful fillings. Whether you opt for classic options like carne asada or venture into unique combinations, the ingredients are fresh and well-balanced.The protein, be it grilled chicken, beef, or vegetarian options, is seasoned to perfection, offering a savory and satisfying experience. Toppings such as fresh salsa, guacamole, and crisp lettuce contribute to a symphony of textures and flavors with each bite. What sets these tacos apart is the attention to detail in both preparation and presentation. The combination of traditional Mexican flavors and innovative twists makes for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a taco enthusiast or a newcomer, Cocina Aztecs Grill's tacos are sure to leave you craving more.“
“The specials are hard to beat if you're looking for generous portions/ sized tacos. I hadn't actually eaten here in almost 7-10 years? But I was not at all disappointed when I reintroduced myself to their menu items and enjoyed some house salsa. The house salsa is a little more on the blended side and tomato based but still has a very inviting texture and almost crisp freshness to it, which goes down effortlessly when accompanied by any kind of Mexican lager, lime, and salt. It's not spicy, at all... but by my own cookong standardsi, I would give it a 2 out of 10 in terms of heat or perceived intensity. They do have hotter salsas that are all great on different dishes, but again. It depends on your angle and how hot you like your food.I wouldn't turn down an invitation to this place unless I had another very hard to pass up option on the table. ??“
“The workers there are nice and fluent in Spanish. So far the best al pastor I’ve had in Fullerton when compared to outdoor street vendors and other handfuls of locations in the immediate vicinity. Highly recommend their tacos with cilantro, onion, red salsa (spicy), and sour cream which is only 35 cents more per taco. Cheese will cost you an extra 90 cents per taco but you can do without it.“
“I've only used the drive thru, and it's your typical fast food experience. A few mistakes on some orders and stale burger buns on occasion but nothing bad enough to stop me from visiting every couple weeks.Parking: Never seen it full.“
“Amazing Mexican food is one of my favourite things about Southern Californian ahh!! El Farolito has the most wholesome atmosphere and the food is just so damn good. An absolute family favourite, so so excited to come back when I'm next in town <3“
