The ddukbokki was served on a heating dish so it would stay hot throughout the meal. My kids devoured the dooki rice and cheese balls. The chicken was the sleeper hit though... “I came before closing so the restaurant was quiet. I ordered the half and half bowl and it was more than satisfying. The beef and chicken were equally delicious. For added flavor you have to add the magic sauce.. Not spicy - just flavorful. I would like this place more if they had a location near Chicago. Very good restaurant. Very good food. Come check them out.“

“I recently visited Baro Gimbap and was genuinely impressed by both the food and the atmosphere. Right when we walked in, we were greeted, the space is clean and cute. From the fast area, we grabbed two of their kimbaps - bulgogi and egg. The kimbap was package beautifully and tasted so fresh. We also ordered the pork cutlet and it was bigger than our heads. The pork cutlet was fried so well and not oily at all. Would recommend coming if you were looking for kimbap and more.“

They packaged up the food so well and gave side dishes such as rice, kimchi, spicy fish cake and etc.The soup was a life changing experience, it was like soothing to my core and left me feeling fulfilled. The rice inside the chicken became almost creamy like congee and was the star of the show, to me. The chicken was tender and light on my stomach and the side dishes paired well with the entire meal. “This lunch price is reasonable. These days, Korean food prices are way overpriced.

I went there for lunch recently for the first time in years, and the prices were the same as 7–8 years ago. The free side dishes were also delicious.

These days, dining out is so expensive that it's hard to choose a restaurant, but I think the owner made a very wise decision. When you live generously and share with others, you'll be blessed and make plenty of money.

They’ve brought back the original flavors, and the service was great too. I’ll always be happy to open my wallet for food like this. Try having a bowl of soondae soup with a shot of soju, like you see on Korean TV — it’s the true taste of Korea.

“This is the only Flame Broiler with a drive-thru. I find it very convenient, as I don't have to stop and get out of the car. I just order, get the food and go. Excellent brown rice steak bulgogi with veggies. Always put on the bulgogi sauce. The red sauce is also very good. Friendly staff, too!“

“I personally love their jajangmyeon. The best jajangmyeon I ever had was at Yong Moon Lu @ Rowland Heights (please try their gan-jajangmyeon/간짜장), but this one is pretty good too. The jjamppong is not bad either.

We got 깐풍새우 & 쟁반짜장. Sweet n spicy shrimp & jjajangmyeon platter. The shrimp was also god level good. We will be back to try different dishes and drinks!
