“Food: 4*
Service: 5*
Ambiance: 5*
Stopped by here with a colleague. We ordered the $19.99 lunch special. He offered to give us a mix of all the different meats on this menu so we could try them. There are specific ban chan you can get like Kimchee, fish cake, potato salad etc. The service was great, very attentive, helpful and friendly. I will return with a larger appetite.“

“I don't know if I had high expectations or if the chef didn't show up during lunch time, but I was recommended cold noodles and pork cutlet, but I think they were below average.
The overall atmosphere was good and the side dishes were delicious, but the main dish was lacking. The taste of galbi cold noodles cannot be missed, but the ribs seem to have lost their flavor and the cold noodles leave a lot to be desired.
The soybean paste stew was really bad.
I don’t know how to make this soybean paste stew.
It can't be without taste @.@
The servers are friendly and the service is good.“

“My mom and I were craving chicken and Furai Chicken was super close to where we were and decided to eat here. Very impressed with the tastiness of the chicken here!
We ordered the half of Soy Garlic Furai ($16.98) and half of Kang Jung Furai ($17.98). The Kang Jung looked spicy but it was not at all. The crispiness and quality of the chicken were so good, and the sauce was cherry on top. Both dish were served with a couple of largely sliced potato wedges. We also ordered a side of the pickled cucumber salad ($4.99) and it was disappointingly small— I’d skip this.
There were outdoor and indoor seats available. Lots of parking on a Sunday afternoon. The server was nice. However, the downside was that we were the only ones in the restaurant but food didn’t come out for at least 20 minutes.
Overall, this is the spot if you’re craving chicken, but just beware of wait times. Would come back to try out other chicken flavors for sure!“

“So am not from this area but I do come this way to pick up something Around here and I love tempura from the outside doesn’t look like much is a nice small place once inside they have a medium amount of choices the price is not that bad I love the veggie tempura and the California rolls, but they do carry other stuff including macaroon ice cream! I’ve gone 3 times now in a month and so far the taste remains the same except yesterday I felt that they didn’t give me the usual amount of veggies but overall the food is good and not pricey!I also noticed sketches on the wall and a folder on the counter am assuming those are from a local artist I believe you can purchase them!“

“Sashimi was very fresh and good quantity. Side dish wasn’t that tasty and less than other restaurants. Inside decoration was kind small atmosphere and not luxuriously designed. No issue with parking spaces and the waitress was prompt . Overall it was good visit“

“If you’re looking for premium Korean bbq without having to go Ktown then Yangmani is where you need to go. Haven’t had such tender cuts of beef in a long while. For those worrying about the price, they do have different combos, but trust me once you had good quality bbq here you would feel it’s worth it! ? My friend loved their beef tartare and I would recommend getting the beef cap and giant beef rib ?? love the full service and clean environment.“

“Short and sweet, this place is so good! got the two popular items on the menu: military soup (boo dae jji gae) and garlic suyuk (sous vide pork belly). Literally cured our souls. It was the best korean food we have had, seriously. The soup was perfectly spicy (mild) and flavorful. The suyuk blew our minds and it was so juicy. Their sides were also simple and delicious. Service was great, they were attentive to our needs and refilled anything fast. Definitely the one of the top and best korean restaurants out here in socal. Just come and try it!“

“Our server Deja was extremely helpful and checked on us and replaced the grill many times. I never had to look for her whenever we ran out of sauce, sides, or meats. Thank you!
The spicy tofu soup and the thin pork belly were a big hit with our group!
It's great to see additional sauce options and kitchen menu items included in the ayce.
Be aware that there are different kitchen items per ayce price tier.
This restaurant has a lot of space and can seat groups of up to 10 people.
The kitchen is visible and looks very clean.
There is a pending liquor license in the window, so next time you go, they may serve alcohol.“

“The chicken is delicious here. Don’t be afraid of the white meat; it’s juicy and tender.
Parking: There is a tiny lot in front of the restaurant, but there’s a much larger lot behind. Save yourself some time and go to the back lot.“

“I came to hungry bull dog restaurant in diamond bar and it was soo good. I ordered a few dishes like the k style corn dog with pepper jack cheese and sausage, katsu with side of curry, bulgogi beef bulldog bowl, and lastly.. the kimchi fried rice. It was so much food and I loved eating inside their cute restaurant.“

“Atoyubu is a cool fusion restaurant specializing in these cute tofu pockets of rice and choice of topping. I got the fresh salmon, bulgogi, butter crab, and spicy tuna (this was so spicy omg). Definitely not an on the go kinda meal because sauce gets everywhere and it’s best eaten right away because it can get soggy real quick!
Prices are fair at $4-5 each. The line can get pretty long but food is out within minutes. Parking also sucks as it is really small.“

“I am a first-generation Korean who visits Korea often. This place has become our go-to spot for Korean food (my husband who is 5th generation Californian).
- Tasty: Even my picky 80 years old uncle loves their food.
- Fresh ingredients: No frozen, no old ingredients
- They don't cut corners. For instance, one of favorite Korean dishes is stir-fried squid (calamari), which HamaHippo makes exceptionally well (try it with noodles if you can take gluten) - tasty and generous with the portion of squid. They close on Sunday but I needed to go out for a dinner, so I went to my former go-to Korean restaurant and ordered the same dish. Most of the dish was noodle with very little, not-well thawed squid. After visiting my former go-to Korean restaurant, I appreciate the food quality of HamaHippo even more. Another example, when you order Bibimbap, you will get variety of fresh, generous portion of vegetables.
- Super reasonable prices, especially considering how fresh the ingredients are.
Vegetarian options: I am a pescatarian. The owner says they can make any dish vegetarian-friendly, even vegan. For example, in my case, when I ordered Bibim Naeng Myun in a hot day, I asked if it was vegetarian. They usually use beef broth for the sauce but accommodated my dietary choice by bringing the beef broth separately, which my friend enjoyed. The dish was delicious.“

“I love wings! So when a Coworker brought me to this place and I was a bit skeptical but was ultimately blown away. They didn't have the flavors I'm used to but the ones they did have were terrific!
First time trying sweet and spicy and first time trying Mango Cart beer. The mix was delicious can't wait to go back.
Parking: Shared Plaza parking, had no issue finding a sopt right in front on a Friday evening.“

“Very nice Korean comfort food restaurant with good bibimbap, cold noodles and pork katsu. The portion is quite large and it’s delicious. I rarely see cold noodle with seaweed and sesame. Most restaurants just do the normal and the spicy one. Everything I had was very good here!“

“Korean street food for the win! Hanshin Pocha is one of my favorite places to eat!! I'm not often in Rowland Heights, but when I am? Shieeeet... you can bet your bottom dollar I'm over here getting my grub on!
Whole grilled squid? Yes. Sapporo cold jumbo beer? Yes. Whole Korean fried crispy chicken that they break up table side? Yes. Ultimate spicy chicken feet? Why yes, thank you!
Don't make that face. Chicken feet are TOP TIER... you have NO EXCUSE to not try them unless you don't eat chicken. If you eat chicken legs? The foot is only an inch farther down... don't be a food wuss! Your spicy tolerance must also be TOP TIER... because these will burn your soul. Satan himself will need a glass of cold Sapporo, lol ??. Everything is so so flavorful & seasoned just right. I love it!
The service is also great because the waitstaff doesn't hover. Gimme my grub & lemee lone! They do. There's also a call button on your table, kinda like in an airplane. If you need something, just push the button & a server comes immediately. If you're in the area & want a great cultural experience with fantastic food, Hanshin is a MUST! (and yes, I was eating alone. Big Backs forever?)“

“I'm not going to say this is an authentic experience -- Craft Bowl is to Korean food as Chipotle is to Mexican food. But it doesn't take away from the fact that the food is delicious in its own right and the value is insane. I'm so used to take out prices being eye popping lately that craft Bowl is a breath of relief.
Chili cheese tteokboki was a guilty pleasure: chewy crispy American Korean fusion dish.
The popcorn chicken bowl was really surprisingly good -- I did not think those ingredients would work together but they did. Chef definitely cooked here.
I'll be back to try the chicken bulgogi bowl.“

“BEST Korean food I've had in a long long time. It takes a while to come out because everything is made fresh, but man... The wait was worth it. Great banchan all around. Great pickles. Great kimchi. Solid miso soup. The pork belly was so clean, cooked just right. The seaweed rolls were perfectly crisp. The tonkatsu was juicy and mildly crunchy. My wife and I are soooooo happy.“

“Soon tofu soup is *super* filling, especially since it by default comes with rice, so my partner and I decided to get one soon tofu + pork cutlet combo and another order of the galbi special (it's a larger serving of galbi without the soon tofu) to share. This got us both really full.
I really enjoyed their pork cutlet combo. The flavour was really good and cabbage was a refreshing side. The galbi was also tasty and seasoned well. The pork cutlet combo was a good deal considering the huge amount of food that you get. I will say, though, that the soon tofu is a smaller serving than what I've seen at most other korean restaurants. And the galbi was kind of expensive ($32 for 12 pieces) and didn't come with rice or anything.
The banchan (side dishes) was good, especially the potato salad.“

“Mr BBQ is probably one of the best All You Can Eat Korean BBQ spots you can eat at in Southern California. The whole place has an upbeat and fun vibe. It's a great place for celebrating or having a party, or just as a fun place to go. All of the portions and sides are generous and high quality. The servers are attentive and make everyone feel welcomed (especially on their birthday)
The beef brisket is thin sliced, and unbeatable. Bulgogi is exceptional here, also. They also have a fantastic selection of drinks, especially the craft beer selection they offer.
There is a free parking lot, but at peak hours, it can be hard to find parking. It's not really a problem since you can park on a nearby street and walk over. Can't say enough good things. Its also just extra fun that they always keep up with the seasonal decorations throughout the year.
Vegetarian options: Its possible to make a vegetarian meal here. There are vegetables and other side dishes that can be grilled to make a pretty filling meal.
Dietary restrictions: Its easy to be selective about what you want since you cook it yourself.
Parking: Sometimes parking can be hard to find at peak hours. There is residential parking near by.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family-friendly atmosphere
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking and access.“
“tasty!
A traditional Korean family restaurant, the side dishes can have a homemade flavor that is different from other restaurants.
The food was served slowly, and there was unlimited rice for free. I ordered two extra bowls of spicy fried pork rice! Delicious and filling“

“The beefy gamjatang and the aged gamjatang are both delicious, so I always have a hard time deciding what to order. The bossam is very delicious and the side dishes, especially the garlic-flavored kimchi, are very delicious!!! It's a restaurant with delicious and healthy food :)“

“It's in the mall food court. Service was awesome. I got the original katsu pork sandwich. Was so hungry I started eating one before I took a picture. I enjoyed it, but I think there could have been a better bread choice. The bread occasionally took the flavor away from the katsu. The pickled Chilies were good on the sandwich. It was not spicy at all. I think this would hit the spot in a crunch if craving katsu.
Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options“

“We, a family of 4, ordered the famous Koh Galbi Jjim (#25 on menu) which is a type of braised beef short ribs, back ribs, and oxtails with potatoes. We added cheese and it was blow torch to melt the cheese at our table before serving. Quite a show. Lol. It tastes heavenly good, the balance of the sweetness, saltiness and spicy (we choose #2 in spicy amount, btw) from its sauce was perfectly paired with the purple rice. Nicely done. Lots of quality meat (size L). I also ordered a Teuk Galbi Tang (#8 on menu) which is a beef short ribs and back ribs soup with slice oyster mushrooms and glass noodles, it was OK, not memorable like the #25. ?In total, the bill was $172 including tips, NO alcohol or soft drinks, btw. We left with full tummies and very satisfied with the food.
Would definitely come back again.
FYI, restaurant is open 24h. Parking is hard to find during peak time and weekend. Come in early because its always has a line.“

“Although the food menu is not extensive, the restaurant is famous for its delicious food. Korean hangover soup is probably the best in the OC area. It may be a very simple food, but it has a rich taste and a good feel. In Korea, having soup and a glass of soju with friends is a small culture.“

“This is a soondubu (spicy silky soft tofu soup) restaurant like BCD chain. You can order combo menu with a meat or fish entree with a version of soondubu soup. You can select the spicy level and toppings for the soup. I thought the soup is really good but the meat dishes except for the LA rib were too sweet. Ban Chan (side dishes) were just average. For Diamond Bar I think this outlet is fine. There is plenty of parking in the shopping mall lot.
Parking: Plenty
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s on the ground floor with wheelchair ramp.“

“Nice little hidden lunch gem!
Popped in here for lunch on a Monday right about noon. One other person was waiting for their food so I was helped right away.
I ordered a spam musubi and the spicy chicken plate.
Musubi was up front hot and ready to go. Delicious as usual and not too much rice which I prefer!
Spicy chicken plate was delicious and actually had some kick. And it was so aesthetically pleasing!
Service was quick and friendly, too. Can’t wait to return here for lunch again!“

“This is a clean Korean restaurant. The remodel has made it much better. The new owner is very clean and friendly. The menu is diverse and delicious, making it a great place to enjoy authentic Korean flavors. I appreciated being able to truly experience the taste of Korea.
However, it would be nice if the portion of rice could be increased to help balance the salty and spicy flavors of the main dishes. Since everyone's appetite varies, it's unfortunate that there is an additional charge for extra rice. The service is friendly, and the wait time for food is reasonable, which I appreciated.
Parking: The parking lot is sufficient, but if it is full, you can park on the street. Just be careful.“

“Complex, authentic Korean flavors made with traditional p ingredients. A humble porridge could become a pleasantly enjoyable experience. I ordered bulnakji porridge today and instead of using ground beef or cheap meat, they used a good quality meat and then they sautéed the marinated bulgogi in butter. mmm. Chives/buchu they used were fresh and green. So was the octopus. Often times you taste the fishiness but this octopus or nakji had a very clean flavor. The venue and the food they served were very clean. I highly recommend this place.“

“Food was good. It is the usual traditional broths and dishes (beef or pork). Pairs well with soju. Felt like a Korean restaurant with a 2k-ish vibe. I would prefer this over a combo anything at fast food places. By the way, if you are not familiar with Korean restaurants, check the side of the table for a drawer. Utensils are inside. If utensils are not brought to you, it is normally at the table.“

“During our recent visit to L.A., my wife and I along with a bunch of friends dined in at Yedang in O.C. for some Korean food. I typically try to avoid places with too many items on the menu but boy, were we in for a surprise.
First, gyejang (fermented raw crab) was fantastic. I don't normally eat this at all but it was so damn good that it turned me into a gyejang believer. I need to find some places back home in Toronto.
Bossam (Boiled pork belly) was a top-notch dish as well. Tender, good balance of meat & fat, and the fresh kimchi & side veggies were excellent combo with the dip (ssam jang)
Both types of Naeng Myun (Cold noodles) were great as well. If they make good broth for this, the place will typically make great Galbi Tang (Beef rib soup) as it was true for Yedang.
Stews (Kimchi and soft tofu Chigye) were great. I really hate watery Chigyes / stew but they were thick and rich. It's definitely as rice killer.
I always say if a Korean restaurant can't get Bibimbap or Bulgogi right, never go there and it was no exception here.
The sides (Ban Chan) were plentiful and each of them was super tasty.
I'm quite surprised at the number of low ratings here. Most of them seem to be related to service but based on our experience, it was beyond excellent. Servers were attentive, much more so than at typical Korean restaurants despite how busy it was.
We will definitely come back here when we are back in L.A. / SO Cal area. Highly recommended!!!“
