“Good comfort food. The stone pot was delish and came out so so hot. It was still steaming at the end of the meal. I had a lot of leftover and the side dishes were fresh and tasted good. The two ladies were patient with me on all my questions about the menu and the sauces. I was expecting them to be mean since so many reviews said they were but they were really nice and I came within the hour of closing and didn't feel rushed.I ordered the stone pot galli and the galbi combo. Both were good and the meat was not over cooked. Total for both dishes came out to almost $80“

“This food stall is located in the corner of Hannan Supermarket. From the boss to the chef, they are all Koreans. Most of the customers communicate with the boss in Korean, so the food provided is very Korean-flavored and the portions are large. I've tried this many times and it's always the same delicious food.“

“Honey Garlic Wings is my jam! Pair that with kimchi fried rice and you've got the perfect meal. I've tried most of the wings and I would say they were all flavored to perfection with that perfect chicken crisp. If you manage to have leftovers just microwave it for a minute or two and throw it in the air fryer for 5 mins or less.“

“Good Korean fried chicken. The gim ballad and honey luv rap provided a crunchy crisp exterior while the flesh remained quite juicy and tender. Large portions make this restaurant very worth it. We would like to try the spicy flavors next time.
The loaded fries were a hit as well. The potatoes were coated with flour to make them extra crispy then drizzled with kimchi and cheese.“

“If you’re looking for premium Korean bbq without having to go Ktown then Yangmani is where you need to go. Haven’t had such tender cuts of beef in a long while. For those worrying about the price, they do have different combos, but trust me once you had good quality bbq here you would feel it’s worth it! ? My friend loved their beef tartare and I would recommend getting the beef cap and giant beef rib ?? love the full service and clean environment.“

“A place where I could soothe my stomach with Korean food when I felt tired of American food.
There is a 90 minute time limit
You can freely order from the menu during any given time. However, the menu may be limited depending on the type of set requested.
While we were eating, we had birthday parties at 4 tables (including ours haha).
You can hear Kpop and taste a variety of meats in a lively atmosphere.
The waiting line may be long during meal times, so be sure to make a reservation before visiting.“

“I am a first-generation Korean who visits Korea often. This place has become our go-to spot for Korean food (my husband who is 5th generation Californian).
- Tasty: Even my picky 80 years old uncle loves their food.
- Fresh ingredients: No frozen, no old ingredients
- They don't cut corners. For instance, one of favorite Korean dishes is stir-fried squid (calamari), which HamaHippo makes exceptionally well (try it with noodles if you can take gluten) - tasty and generous with the portion of squid. They close on Sunday but I needed to go out for a dinner, so I went to my former go-to Korean restaurant and ordered the same dish. Most of the dish was noodle with very little, not-well thawed squid. After visiting my former go-to Korean restaurant, I appreciate the food quality of HamaHippo even more. Another example, when you order Bibimbap, you will get variety of fresh, generous portion of vegetables.
- Super reasonable prices, especially considering how fresh the ingredients are.
Vegetarian options: I am a pescatarian. The owner says they can make any dish vegetarian-friendly, even vegan. For example, in my case, when I ordered Bibim Naeng Myun in a hot day, I asked if it was vegetarian. They usually use beef broth for the sauce but accommodated my dietary choice by bringing the beef broth separately, which my friend enjoyed. The dish was delicious.“

Ambiance: 5*
Stopped by here with a colleague. We ordered the $19.99 lunch special. He offered to give us a mix of all the different meats on this menu so we could try them. There are specific ban chan you can get like Kimchee, fish cake, potato salad etc. The service was great, very attentive, helpful and friendly. I will return with a larger appetite.“

“Korean street food for the win! Hanshin Pocha is one of my favorite places to eat!! I'm not often in Rowland Heights, but when I am? Shieeeet... you can bet your bottom dollar I'm over here getting my grub on!
Whole grilled squid? Yes. Sapporo cold jumbo beer? Yes. Whole Korean fried crispy chicken that they break up table side? Yes. Ultimate spicy chicken feet? Why yes, thank you!
Don't make that face. Chicken feet are TOP TIER... you have NO EXCUSE to not try them unless you don't eat chicken. If you eat chicken legs? The foot is only an inch farther down... don't be a food wuss! Your spicy tolerance must also be TOP TIER... because these will burn your soul. Satan himself will need a glass of cold Sapporo, lol ??. Everything is so so flavorful & seasoned just right. I love it!
The service is also great because the waitstaff doesn't hover. Gimme my grub & lemee lone! They do. There's also a call button on your table, kinda like in an airplane. If you need something, just push the button & a server comes immediately. If you're in the area & want a great cultural experience with fantastic food, Hanshin is a MUST! (and yes, I was eating alone. Big Backs forever?)“

“I got Tteok-bokki to go at this establishment a few weeks ago. The inside is very nicely arranged and clean. The music playing was great.
The Tteok-bokki was very good. The rice cakes were chewy and spicy but not overbearingly spicy. They had just the right amount of flavor.
Overall I'd recommend this place.“

“We, a family of 4, ordered the famous Koh Galbi Jjim (#25 on menu) which is a type of braised beef short ribs, back ribs, and oxtails with potatoes. We added cheese and it was blow torch to melt the cheese at our table before serving. Quite a show. Lol. It tastes heavenly good, the balance of the sweetness, saltiness and spicy (we choose #2 in spicy amount, btw) from its sauce was perfectly paired with the purple rice. Nicely done. Lots of quality meat (size L). I also ordered a Teuk Galbi Tang (#8 on menu) which is a beef short ribs and back ribs soup with slice oyster mushrooms and glass noodles, it was OK, not memorable like the #25. ?In total, the bill was $172 including tips, NO alcohol or soft drinks, btw. We left with full tummies and very satisfied with the food.
Would definitely come back again.
FYI, restaurant is open 24h. Parking is hard to find during peak time and weekend. Come in early because its always has a line.“

“This is a soondubu (spicy silky soft tofu soup) restaurant like BCD chain. You can order combo menu with a meat or fish entree with a version of soondubu soup. You can select the spicy level and toppings for the soup. I thought the soup is really good but the meat dishes except for the LA rib were too sweet. Ban Chan (side dishes) were just average. For Diamond Bar I think this outlet is fine. There is plenty of parking in the shopping mall lot.
Parking: Plenty
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s on the ground floor with wheelchair ramp.“

“Complex, authentic Korean flavors made with traditional p ingredients. A humble porridge could become a pleasantly enjoyable experience. I ordered bulnakji porridge today and instead of using ground beef or cheap meat, they used a good quality meat and then they sautéed the marinated bulgogi in butter. mmm. Chives/buchu they used were fresh and green. So was the octopus. Often times you taste the fishiness but this octopus or nakji had a very clean flavor. The venue and the food they served were very clean. I highly recommend this place.“

“Food was good. It is the usual traditional broths and dishes (beef or pork). Pairs well with soju. Felt like a Korean restaurant with a 2k-ish vibe. I would prefer this over a combo anything at fast food places. By the way, if you are not familiar with Korean restaurants, check the side of the table for a drawer. Utensils are inside. If utensils are not brought to you, it is normally at the table.“

“This is my absolute favorite restaurant ever. The only thing I order, however, is the dumpling sundubu with added enoki mushrooms, extra spicy. I've never brought someone to this restaurant without them begging me the following week to take them again. Highly recommend. They also have another location in Chino Hills.“

“Although the food menu is not extensive, the restaurant is famous for its delicious food. Korean hangover soup is probably the best in the OC area. It may be a very simple food, but it has a rich taste and a good feel. In Korea, having soup and a glass of soju with friends is a small culture.“

“I have ordered takeout from Seoul Haus multiple times. Takeout orders are consistently packaged well with all the expected items, such as banchan (side dishes), utensils, and napkins. The food was also very good. I do order a variety of menu items, but one of my main go-to dishes is their sul-long-tang (oxtail bone soup). It is one of their best soups. It may not be a well-known Korean dish like Kbbq or Korean fried chicken, but in my opinion, it is one of the best Korean comfort foods.
There aren’t many restaurants near my home that have sul-long-tang, so it’s really nice to have a restaurant that does it well just down the street from me. The soup broth has a rich, deep flavor. The color of the broth is a clear indicator of its quality. The meat in the soup, which seems to be brisket, is always good quality.
One of the main indicators of a superior Korean restaurant is the variety and freshness of the banchan (side dishes) they provide. Takeout orders generally only have a couple of standard banchan (unless you ask), but if you eat in the restaurant, a few more banchan come with your meal.
Seoul Haus is by far the best and most authentic Korean restaurant in Chino Hills. The service is also consistently good. Whether I’m getting takeout or eating in, the staff are always polite and welcoming. The restaurant serves great food at good prices in a very clean environment.“

“It's been a while since I tried Korean food which is not Korean barbecue. It's very good service and the food comes out very fast. We ordered a couple of items, and liked the rice ball and "Yup Oh". Pork chops are definitely I recommend because they are juicy and tender. However, boneless chicken feet are a little bit disappointing for a small portion of amount, too much rice ball inside and a little bit more spicy than usual. (Ordered extra mild) The blood sausage is okay. Overall, I may come back for other items if possible with friends. In addition, I recommend it to people who want traditional Korean food and gathering with friends here.“

“This cute little place is amazing, authentic Korean BBQ and so much more! Tofu soup, banchan, various meats like Bulgolgi and boiled pork belly for wraps with lettuce, Napa and other lovely vegetables. Kalbi was so amazingly delicious! Complimentary seafood pancake served as an appetizer. You must try this! Oh and raw spicy marinated crabs. Exotic!
Parking: A small lot next to the restaurant, but a huge lot right next to the small one. We had plenty of great parking for our family.“

“Located on a less visited side of the plaza, there's this Korean restaurant that has fair prices food and portions.
Standard to all Korean restaurant, we were served with various side dishes which were pretty good flavor breakers for the food that was coming in.
We ordered a cold noodle dish, a Tripe/Brisket Glass noodle dish, and the premium bossam.
The staff was kind enough to inform us how to eat the premium bossam, providing lettuce to create a mixture wrap.
Alternating between the bossam and brisket was a easy break of flavor between the two, and you would quickly devour both in no time.
I wouldn't say there was anything in particular that stood out from this place, but sometimes you don't need a WOW place to eat at, and instead a quickly seated restaurant for some comfy food is all you need.“

“Saemaeul Sikdang is a well-known franchise restaurant in Korea, and it also has a location in Buena Park. The quality of the meat is excellent, and the staff's attitude and service are outstanding. However, you should be careful as the restaurant floor can be a bit slippery due to the grease from the meat.
Parking: The mall is very crowded at night. Hard to find a parking“

“The food is plentiful, comes out quickly, and the taste is average.
But I think it’s only open in the afternoon.
The free popcorn was so soggy that I couldn't eat it, the tofu kimchi was too salty and sour, and the seasoned whelk seemed to have been under-mixed to the point where the sugar was chewy.
Still, it was plentiful because there were a lot of sea bream and dried dried pollack.
Altang is okay.“

“The food was really good, especially the spicy pork belly. It was the best meat I think. And their cilantro onion salad is really tasty too.
Staff is very kind and helpful and it doesn’t take long to get the attention of a server and get help as well which is awesome.
The only bad thing is ventilation. It gets really smoky eventually when it’s busy and the smoke stings your eyes a lot so it eventually got really uncomfortable. We asked if it was ok to open the back door we were next to in order to clear the smoke. They should just have the back door always open since their ventilation is having some issues unsure if it’s unable to keep up or what exactly but they should just keep the back door open and it completely solves the problem. I’d rather deal with my legs being chilly from time to time than my eyes burning and stinging and being unable to see
Kid-friendliness: I really appreciated that there are high chairs available and the staff was extremely kind and even though my baby made a mess throwing food on the floor when I went to go pick it up they told me it was ok that they sweep the floors anyway and I don’t have to do that. So it’s very family friendly and they have lots of food options that my 11 month old could eat too which was awesome since sometimes it can be difficult to find something that is baby friendly since he doesn’t have all his teeth“

“If you are craving tofu soup and are in the Chino Hills area, go to Young Dong Tofu. This restaurant is always packed, but the turnover is super quick so don't despair! Try to go during non-peak hours though or on weeknights to avoid the crazy weekend and dinner rushes.
There is a lot of variety on the menu: they have a number of different tofu soups, BBQ platters, beef rib soups, and even pork cutlet plates you can order. Here's what I recommend:
* BBQ short rib + tofu soup combo (4.5/5 stars, $31.95): this is my go-to order and it is perfect for sharing. It comes with 8-9 pieces of LA Galbi served on a sizzling platter of onions AND comes with a tofu soup as well. We always get the beef and seafood tofu soup, medium spice.
* Seafood pancake (5/5 stars, $27.99): the seafood pancake here is delicious - it's thick and it's a very large order. We can never finish it and always bring home the other half to put in our air fryer the next day.
* Pork cutlet (4.5/5 stars, $22.99): the size of this pork cutlet is going to astound you. I've never seen anyone be able to finish the entire portion. It's gigantic.
The banchan are really good at Young Dong as well. The staff is extremely attentive, even though they run a very small crew of servers and bussers. It's a well-oiled machine there, and I'm always impressed. We've tried other Korean soup options in Chino Hills - just go to Young Dong. It's the best option.“

“During our recent visit to L.A., my wife and I along with a bunch of friends dined in at Yedang in O.C. for some Korean food. I typically try to avoid places with too many items on the menu but boy, were we in for a surprise.
First, gyejang (fermented raw crab) was fantastic. I don't normally eat this at all but it was so damn good that it turned me into a gyejang believer. I need to find some places back home in Toronto.
Bossam (Boiled pork belly) was a top-notch dish as well. Tender, good balance of meat & fat, and the fresh kimchi & side veggies were excellent combo with the dip (ssam jang)
Both types of Naeng Myun (Cold noodles) were great as well. If they make good broth for this, the place will typically make great Galbi Tang (Beef rib soup) as it was true for Yedang.
Stews (Kimchi and soft tofu Chigye) were great. I really hate watery Chigyes / stew but they were thick and rich. It's definitely as rice killer.
I always say if a Korean restaurant can't get Bibimbap or Bulgogi right, never go there and it was no exception here.
The sides (Ban Chan) were plentiful and each of them was super tasty.
I'm quite surprised at the number of low ratings here. Most of them seem to be related to service but based on our experience, it was beyond excellent. Servers were attentive, much more so than at typical Korean restaurants despite how busy it was.
We will definitely come back here when we are back in L.A. / SO Cal area. Highly recommended!!!“
