“Good comfort food. The stone pot was delish and came out so so hot. It was still steaming at the end of the meal. I had a lot of leftover and the side dishes were fresh and tasted good.The two ladies were patient with me on all my questions about the menu and the sauces. I was expecting them to be mean since so many reviews said they were but they were really nice and I came within the hour of closing and didn't feel rushed.I ordered the stone pot galli and the galbi combo. Both were good and the meat was not over cooked. Total for both dishes came out to almost $80“
“i went here a little bit late into the night with a few friends and when we walked in the service was the first thing we noticed, they're so nice and were helpful the entire time we were there! although we came at a late time so we were the only ones there, it was nice inside and it was very welcoming. we decided to order the army stew with beef and ramyun and it was enough to get us (there was 3 of us) super full AND with leftovers. i believe it had sausage, spam, brisket, rice cakes, some veggies, ramen noodles, and i might be missing a few more things, but the broth itself was SO good! we also got topokki with cheese as our add on and it was super yummy!! it had rice cakes, an egg, and fish cakes, but i would definitely add noodles next time. it didn't taste like most tteokbokkis i've had in the past but it was the perfect amount of sweet and savory. the cheese was so delicious it was the right amount of creamy and spicy!! we only ordered 2 entrees but it could honestly be enough for a party of 5. i would definitely go again“
“So comforting! We have been eating here at the Combo House for many years with them gone through couple ownership changes. Always have lunch here after grocery shopping here at Hannam Korean Supermarket. It's convenient for us, food always made fresh and hot here. Owners cater mostly to older customers, working people in the areas, obvious busy moms and dads. These are typical homemade comfort food your grandma, auntie, mom would make at home for you. You will definitely love and appreciate. The food are on the neutral flavored side. So you won't feel thirsty like hell after eating here. We love their comforting service here as well. The owners are husband and wife team, hand make, cook and serve their food directly from the stoves to your table. Just like eating at home in your mom's kitchen on the floor. Korean Style!!“
“We’ve been coming here for the past 20+ years and the quality has remained true. Very authentic and feels like you are in Korea, especially when they have the Korean news on the TV playing. The side dishes have always been mostly the same unlike other Korean places that change their side dishes often. This is great place for some beef soup and different meat dishes if you have a group larger than 2 or 3 people. This is a hidden gem in Rowland Heights.Vegetarian options: ?this is a Korean beef soup place, your only option would be the side dishes.Parking: The front lot is small so it fills up quickly, but this strip mall has a side parking lot that’s a bit larger.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, plenty of space.“
