“Best place to get authentic cheonggukjang in Orange County. I've been coming for what feels like over a decade and the taste never changed. The restaurant does have a strong fermented bean paste smell but if you want authentic cheonggukjang, it has to smell like this. If a place that sells cheonggukjang does not have a smell, it you will get tasteless 'watered down' version of the soup.

Plus is the smell is not as over powering as it used to be way back when but the taste is still the same.“

The owners greeted us as we came in with the biggest smile and we're so kind.

The food wasn't made until we ordered it and let me tell you ... it was amazing! The shrimp was do flavorful and amazing!

We are looking forward to come back and get try some more ideas their amazing find!

“Great spot for soondae lovers. The soondae hot pot comes loaded with pork belly, beef, intestines and veggies, and the broth gets richer as it cooks. I liked dipping the soondae in shrimp paste for extra flavor. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. Would definitely come back.“

If it's raining and you want some warm pho. This is the spot for you. Close to South Gate, Lynwood, Bell Gardens, Downey and Paramount. It has drive thru and a small mom and pop restaurant that should definitely be supported for the great food. Had Beef Pho and Shrimp Pho, with Creamy ragoons and Veggie Egg rolls topped off with Tai Tea. Yum!!! #TheSpot“

“Tang was exactly what we were craving after a night out. The portions were generous, and the side dishes complemented the meal well. Since the soups already include rice noodles, I skipped out on the extra rice.

We ordered the soondae guk and the galbi tang. The galbi was rich and flavorful. The highlight of the meal was the soondae (blood sausage). The texture was different, filled with a mixture of pork blood and noodles.

“This place is often a go to on the weekends for me. You can never go wrong with egg noodles. It’s the perfect amount. All the flavor profiles are there. It can get busy and there is sometimes a wait but not too bad. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is also something nostalgic about a family owned restaurant that is comforting.“

“This is a small family own restaurant that provides very authentic Korean food. The location is a bit weird especially when you visit during the night.
At the parking lot, we hesitated and thought we might go to the wrong place. However, we love the food there. We ordered bul-nak jun-gol. “Still a place to go for all the occasional. Just landed from out of country trip and this is the 1st place to go for comfort food. It was raining so perfect to have some hot pho and VNese coffee and Thai tea and orange juice. The place is packed and we waited for 15mins and got a shared table with another group. Easy order with friendly service but waited abit (understandable since it packed) but within 20mins we got our foods. The prices are still the same but I think the noodle is less than b4, I could be wrong but either way, it hit all the right spots in the body. The vibe was great since the smell is just make you feel right at home and with good comfort foods. They do have several table outside on the sidewalk too.“

“It was a Sunday evening (4/5/26), and my family of three came in for dinner. Even though the restaurant was busy, the atmosphere was still very pleasant and welcoming.

Our waiter, Ben, was attentive, professional, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. George, the manager, was also very kind and approachable. He consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which made us feel truly valued as customers.

It’s so nice to see a restaurant that still takes the time to care about their guests and provide such great service. Experiences like this are what every family should receive when dining out.
