If it's raining and you want some warm pho. This is the spot for you. Close to South Gate, Lynwood, Bell Gardens, Downey and Paramount. It has drive thru and a small mom and pop restaurant that should definitely be supported for the great food. We ordered the soondae guk and the galbi tang. The galbi was rich and flavorful. The highlight of the meal was the soondae (blood sausage). The texture was different, filled with a mixture of pork blood and noodles.

“A small catering, food to go shop, 3 small tables inside, 3 outside. Their banh canh cua, udon crab noodle, is fantastic in quality and quantity, probably the best in oc, $17 eat in, special $8 only to go on Friday, a great deal.

The crab udon has a lump of minced crab, 3 large shrimps, large slices of boiled pork. The broth is rich, tasty, delish, no fishy odor, no excess sugar, light, nice, clean, not greasy and gooey like those in other shops. I ate it to the last spoon, and I am a picky eater.

If taken home, the udon noodle should be recooked in the broth for about 5 minutes to soften up.

They have a menu of about 30 traditional Viet dishes, hopefully as good and healthy as their crab udon. Will definitely come back and try them out.“

“It was a Sunday evening (4/5/26), and my family of three came in for dinner. Even though the restaurant was busy, the atmosphere was still very pleasant and welcoming.

Our waiter, Ben, was attentive, professional, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. George, the manager, was also very kind and approachable. He consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which made us feel truly valued as customers.

It’s so nice to see a restaurant that still takes the time to care about their guests and provide such great service. Experiences like this are what every family should receive when dining out.

The pronunciation sounds like Tsa Chang lian mein, and while my mandarin is terrible the food was thankfully not. The cold noodles, cucumbers, and pork sauce hit the spot in this warm California afternoon and i couldn’t be more satisfied with both the taste and my full stomach. 10/10 Would eat again. —Recommendations— For those who want a comforting dinning experience, Treat yourself to these delicious dishes: -general tso’s chicken -spicy diced chicken -green onion pancakes -braised string beans -house special beef -braised shrimp -cold meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste —Finger foods for your office/party— For those looking to feed your office finger foods ask for a party tray (I’d get the last 3 since they are more likely “known” by the people you are feeding): -spicy diced chicken -xiao long bao -pan fried dumplings -spring rolls -green onion pancakes When in doubt, do not be afraid to ask Monica the owner for suggestions. “I ordered 2 different beef pho and an order of the pork and shrimp spring rolls. The meat and broth in the pho was so good and worth every penny. The tendon in my soup was so soft and yummy. The spring rolls were a bit of a disappointment as it was 90% garden salad mix straight out of the bag. 2 out of 3 of the spring rolls split open due to the over crowding of the salad. If the salad was tossed in a light sauce/vinegar, it would liven up the spring rolls so much.“

“Best place to get authentic cheonggukjang in Orange County. I've been coming for what feels like over a decade and the taste never changed. The restaurant does have a strong fermented bean paste smell but if you want authentic cheonggukjang, it has to smell like this. If a place that sells cheonggukjang does not have a smell, it you will get tasteless 'watered down' version of the soup.

Plus is the smell is not as over powering as it used to be way back when but the taste is still the same.“

“Today was my 3rd time back. I have tried something new off their menu each visit. First visit was General Tso’s (my favorite), 2nd visit was Chicken Chow mein, today is Spicy Orange Chicken (move over General Tso’s, you’ve been replaced!). The staff is always friendly and helpful, the food is really good. When their menu says “spicy”, they mean a nice little kick and not a flamethrower!! I always order to go, 10 minutes and I am out the door. Portions are big (mine always makes 2 meals). I found my new favorite place 😁“

I recommend you use your navigation to find it because you'll drive right by it because it's in a small strip mall. Off the corner of Jersey and rosecrans. The restaurant is on the small side and I'm sure they get crowded with the dinner rush. I went for the lunch special served Monday to Saturday from 11am to 3 pm. I chose the Kung Pao Chicken, that comes with the daily soup,egg roll,fried rice and a fortune cookie which is alot for $11.95. They chop up their red pepper into pieces, so it has a kick ! The portions were large enough to make two meals which is a plus. Definitely will be back to try other options on the menu. Especially the hot soups which look amazing. They are closed on Tuesday ,so I had to wait an extra day. A thumbs up to whomever designed their menu, easy to decide what to order and prices displayed clearly 😀.“
