“Casa Filipina Bakery’s ginataan bilo-bilo is a true taste of the Philippines. The balance of sweetness from the coconut milk and the slight savoriness of the bilo-bilo was spot on. The texture of the bilo-bilo was perfect - chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. A delightful treat.“

“Today's experience in this restaurant was from bad to awsome starting from our waiter/server don't know the guy but had a real bad attitude constantly makeing faceses like if he was upset or angry us my family of 3 and noticed that he was very joyful with other people but with us has a bad attitude and that's before we started to order we just got there and got our seat to eat. But the manager stepped in and gave me the best service same thing with the other servers a male and a female with a pink sweater thanks to them I give this place a high rating and would bring my family again

My recommendation if employee are in a bad mood or haveing a bad day it's never good to mix house problems/personal problems with work because to me olive garden it's a family restaurant

“Decided to pass by tomorrow and see how good the pho is because I know som great pho place is Alhambra. They had different item I wanted to try but my focus was on the pho. I order sat down , 5 mins later the food arrived. A good pho must have a good broth , it was ok ,I give it 3/5 the pho noodles was right on the money , but will say to a bit more noodles lol feel like it had a bit less or maybe I ate it fast and I didn't notice it 😂😂😂 the beef was nice and tender but also feel like it was a bit of beef 😂 who knows 😏 didn't taste that much spices on the broth. Or maybe this is how they make there pho broth. Overall 4/5 because I still enjoyed it ,the Thai tea was good also wasn't that sweet like other place they give you Thai tea and it felt like it was Thai tea leaf not that podwer Thai tea. “I’ve been struggling to find a decent Tonkatsu, but this one is among the best Ive had in the US. I’m not an expert in Japanese cuisine but I have been to Japan a few times an this place is within striking distance of the average tonkatsus I had there. I’ll be back when I’m in the area“

“I love this pho spot! The ambience is great. The customer service is speedy and you are immediately given a warm welcome as you step in. The food is also really good (although I’ve only ever ordered number 4, the steak and brisket pho 👌🏽). I did try a bit of the shrimp pho when my mom ordered it, and it was good, but I’m more into beef than seafood, so that’s just personal preference. Definitely check it out. This was where I tried pho for the first time and it hits the spot every time.“

“I made a trip to this spot after seeing the great reviews, and overall was ok. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, and the service was pleasant.

We ordered the ribs combo pho and the brisket and meatball pho — both bowls had a solid, flavorful broth that hit the spot. The ribs wasnt that amazing. The egg rolls were crispy and well-seasoned. Thai tea was also great.

My main gripe is the meat portions felt a little skimpy for the price — I expected a bit more generosity in the bowl. At around $60 for two people, it’s on the pricier side for pho, which did temper the experience slightly.

That said, the quality is clearly there. If the portions were bigger or the price a touch lower, this would be an easy five stars. Worth a visit, but go in with calibrated expectations on value.“

There was no unpleasant pork smell, and the thickly sliced meat was very tender.
The pickled perilla leaves served as a side dish were especially delicious—I recommend placing them on the meat and eating them together.“

“I order from No. 1 Chef often via Postmates. Something went wrong this time (not their fault, their computers were down), so my hubby and I took a quick trip to pick up our order. The lady was SOOOO nice and helpful over the phone. With that said, the food here is top notch! When I need comfort food, I get the egg flower soup and dumplings. The soup is ALWAYS hot and fresh and just feels like a hug. I've also ordered the egg fu yun, and trust this place is NOT stingy on the portions. Everything I've had has never disappointed. “I stopped by and tried a few dishes. What stuck out to me was how long the food took to prepare when the place was practically empty. I overheard another table also commenting on their wait time for food. Other than that, the food was delicious and the service was fine. The restaurant is pretty old and dingy but I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, I was just there for some food to treat my homesickness.

The salaw machu kreung and the prahok sauce was really good. The frog was alright tbh, I guess I’m not used to it being prepared in that way. (It was deep fried and then stir fried with the kreung paste and veggies I believe.) It was still good, just different. I’m glad I gave them a try, gotta support the Khmer businesses 🫶🏼🇰🇭“

“A nice restaurant for Korean comfort food. The bibimbap was good. It feels less Americanized than most restaurants, which was a good thing. We were a bit sad that the samgye tang didn’t have ginseng in it. I think it might be in the broth when they cook it but we usually get the real ginseng our dish too when ordering this. “We ordered 2 jalapeno kimbap and 2 beef bulgogi kimbap and they gave us 4 little spicy soups that I thought was miso at first but it's not it's a delicious bean sprout jalapeno soup. “I love how ethnic markets: Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Mexican supermarkets in So. Cal included a food court where everyone can sample ethnic dishes. At this H Mart, I ordered Hot Stone Bibimbap. It arrived with three sides, and two sauces. Yummy doesn’t even begin to describe this dish. All the raw vegetables were freshly sliced, warmed by the heat of the stone and rice. The cooked vegetables were perfectly cooked-maintaining their bright green color. I prefer low salt, so I just poured in a little bit of the sauce. While sitting down to eat my lunch, I thought about groceries to pick up from H-Mart. I’m a little surprised that this food court with 4 eateries wasn’t busier during the week. Bring your appetite.“
