“Arrived less than an hour before closing but they weren’t busy so they invited our party of 5 inside after seeing our hesitancy outside the front door. I wish I got their names but they were incredibly hospitable, helping us figure out how to best enjoy the dishes we ordered (we’re still learning about Korean cuisine) and were really accommodating. And everything was amazing!! We got the ox bone soup with beef brisket, mul naeng-myon (cold noodles with beef and pickled radish), haemul nok-du jeon (korean pancake with squid and shrimp and clam), and the spicy galbi-jjim (braised beef short ribs) which was our favorite.Highly highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!“
“My wife and I came in on a Sunday afternoon, at first we were going to have something else originally but my wife and I decided let's get some KBBQ. We googled and we wanted to try some place new. Yellow Cow was the place and we are sure glad we found this place. It wasn't crowded which my wife and I prefer and were seated immediately. We were greeted with such amazing genuine hospitality and service, that we knew we were in the right place. The gentlemen who first took our order was so kind and a absolute delight, I wish I had gotten his name. My wife and I ordered the prime brisket for our 2 options and the quality of the brisket was phenomenal, it also comes with fresh salad & complementary sides. The gentlemen who took our order were also kind enough to lay our meat down on the grill before we started to cook, which I thought was a nice touch of service. The ladies were so sweet and full of love that it was radiating off of them and made us feel so welcomed. When they would come around to our table they made sure we were ok and comfortable and asked how everything was. One of the ladies even gave us some recommendations on how we could incorporate the side dishes with the BBQ which we thought was very thoughtful and pleasant. All in all we are giving the Yellow Cow a 5-star due to everyone's effort, genuineness, service, ambiance & food. I highly recommend if you're looking for all the above. We will be coming back for sure. ?“
“Omg! Authentic sul lung tang (traditional korean bone broth soup) is deliciously amazing at Jun Ju. Soup is served pipping hot, broth is rich flavored & served with salt, green onions & black pepper on the side. Speaking of side, their side dishes are exquisite & authentic. You'll enjoy the unlimited fresh ban-chan (side dishes). We also ordered korean seafood pancake- served crunchy with loaded seafood. Absolutely heavenly. Service staffs are friendly & well attentive. Place is clean & seating is limited. You'll see tons of elderly Koreans as delightful customers who are enjoying their meal. Parking is plenty in the front lot. Hope you get to dine at Jun Ju and experience authentic korean cuisine. Bon appetite!“
“Went there for my first time last night around opening time, very friendly customer service experience. I enjoyed my 'Fire Bowl Ramen' (Intermediate / 2nd Spice level) so much that I drank most of the broth. The general atmosphere felt like I was in Japan again, it may not be everyone's liking, but I personally enjoy dimly lit ambiance for a dinner setting.“
“Probably the best sulungtang place in South Bay. We loved JinKook Sulungtang but it closed down couple of years ago. This is the best place we found since~ The only negative is that their radish kimchi is inconsistent in taste.. one day it's sour, one day it's sweet.. Other than that, great service and love the soups~“
“most people would probably label No. 1 Chef as a hole in the wall but I would rather label them as a hidden gem ?. Been eating here for about 5 years now and it’s still exquisite every single time. I really enjoy the authenticity and proper quality of their dishes. Thank you No. 1 Chef for always keeping your food fresh and delicious.“
“I ordered the Galbitang for $19.99 and the Galbi & Cold Noodles Combo for $32.99.Let's start with the Galbi & Cold Noodles Combo. The cold noodles left me with mixed feelings. They were decent but not outstanding, falling into the category of mediocrity. However, the Galbi stole the show. It was incredibly delicious and perfectly seasoned. The flavors were spot on, making it a highlight of the meal.As for the Galbitang, it was good but slightly on the salty side. The portion size, on the other hand, was generous, which I found to be a great value for the price. One thing that I really appreciated was the easily accessible parking lot. It made my visit much more convenient. Service was also spot on! They were super attentive and refilled the small dishes quickly.“
“Ordered 3 combo specials, the (#55) bimbimbap with vegetable in a hot pot and LA Galbi, (#56) bimbimbap with vegetable in a hot pot and beef bulgogi, and (#64) grilled fish and kimchi stew. The bimbimbap was an ideal portion if you have an average appetite, delicious and served hot in clay pots. If you have a larger appetite, I would recommend adding other dishes. I would recommend filling up on all the banchan (side dishes) as there are a diverse amount of dishes served. The galbi was well seasoned and marinated with the right amount of chewiness. The bulgogi was a bit dry so add some of the optional spicy sauce to give it an extra kick. The location is moderately busy during lunch on weekends, parking is plenty in the plaza area. Service is really nice and quick.Parking: Not a large plaza but plenty of parking available for your visit“
“This is probably a hot take... but I think these might be the best fish tacos and the Baja burrito is arguably one of the best burritos in LA.I lived in north redondo beach for a year when I first moved to LA and I still remember their location on inglewood and artesia before the name change and expansion. I thought the change and expansion would mean lower quality (as is the case when a lot of restaurants start expanding to different locations) ...but not at all! Ceviche is always fresh, burrito are the size of a newborn baby, and even my girlfriend (who manages to find something to complain about at every restaurant) loved the grilled fish tacos here.“
“Very hospitable customer service and allowed my little Chiuahuah mix to be inside with me while I ate?? I'm very appreciative with that. they have such friendly and fast service. Fresh and hot and served with a genuine smile not to mention the occasional check ins to see how our stay was going and if we needed anything else to accommodate us?? I highly recommend this establishment to dine in or just take out. Hope to return again soon ??“
“We went there today for lunch.Omg.. this place is absolute must try!I am born and raised in Korea so I know the difference between just regular Korean restaurants to an authentic home-made restaurant. This place rocks!Just like the taste I remember how my grandma used to make!!I already see so many Korean people here. They must know like I do!!“
“This is my absolute favorite place to come eat for my lunch break with my boyfriend. The lunch special Galbi with the seafood Soon tofu is our favorite, it comes with the hot black stone rice and all the food is fresh ans sizzling out of the kitchen. Our waitress is attentive and courteous always making sure we have enough kimchi and side dishes.“
“Feels like a modern trendy hip pho spot that totally passes the vibe check. We were greeted as we came in even during the busy dinner time.Sat at one of the booths with space to have a stroller next to us without being in the way for others. The staff are super friendly with awesome ink tats and just super chill.I ordered the #4 pho with streak and brisket which was yummy, next time I will for sure get a large. We got 2 orders of the #30 the minced pork and veggies egg rolls which were delicious and gone as quickly as they came.Huge dinning area with a modern rustic open kitchen décor.Needed to stay up so I got me a Vietnamese coffee which was on point. Can’t wait to come back to try other things off the menu.Parking: Big parking lotKid-friendliness: Able to fit a stroller next to our table“
