“I love this pho spot! The ambience is great. The customer service is speedy and you are immediately given a warm welcome as you step in. The food is also really good (although I’ve only ever ordered number 4, the steak and brisket pho 👌🏽). I did try a bit of the shrimp pho when my mom ordered it, and it was good, but I’m more into beef than seafood, so that’s just personal preference. Definitely check it out. This was where I tried pho for the first time and it hits the spot every time.“

“This place is small and tuck away in a shopping corner, but the services was the best, seen like a great mom and pop place. Forgot what I order but it was all delicious, when with a group of 4 and we family style the meal, best way to try all the amazing dishes.“

But the absolute highlight of the night was the Tofu with Kimchi Pork, it was completely mind-blowing and delicious! If you’re looking for genuine, high-quality Korean food, this is the place to go. “I order from No. 1 Chef often via Postmates. Something went wrong this time (not their fault, their computers were down), so my hubby and I took a quick trip to pick up our order. The lady was SOOOO nice and helpful over the phone. With that said, the food here is top notch! When I need comfort food, I get the egg flower soup and dumplings. The soup is ALWAYS hot and fresh and just feels like a hug. I've also ordered the egg fu yun, and trust this place is NOT stingy on the portions. Everything I've had has never disappointed. Yes, it may look like a hole in the wall, but if you want the kind of Chinese food that satisfies, give this place a try.“

“Went here with a group of 7 after our get-together. We ordered bossam, braised mackerel, spicy squid, tofu kimchi, and potato pancakes. Everything was good. The potato pancakes were the best part. We liked them so much that we ended up ordering 4 of them. I’d definitely order those again.“

“A nice restaurant for Korean comfort food. The bibimbap was good. It feels less Americanized than most restaurants, which was a good thing. We were a bit sad that the samgye tang didn’t have ginseng in it. I think it might be in the broth when they cook it but we usually get the real ginseng our dish too when ordering this. Overall, the taste was good.“

“As a person who was growing up in a coastal city & loves seafood, I highly recommend this restaurant. They have real good fresh sweet seafood. Plus, my husband is not a fan of seafood but he changed his mind when he tried the fish tacos here. They close early around 8pm, that is the only issue I don’t like.“

“We ordered 2 jalapeno kimbap and 2 beef bulgogi kimbap and they gave us 4 little spicy soups that I thought was miso at first but it's not it's a delicious bean sprout jalapeno soup. So good and spicy 😍 The owners were so nice and asked our daughter if she wanted to take a book home 💚 definitely have to go back for a date night with hubby and try their other items“

If you’re looking for quick fast-food service, this is probably not the place for you. I’ve been coming here for a while, and the food is always good quality, but it takes time. I usually order a drink and relax while I wait for my food. In my experience, the wait is typically at least 30 minutes and can sometimes be up to an hour.

Personally, I don’t mind because I know what to expect, and I enjoy having a drink while I wait. However, if you’re coming here just because they’re open late and the prices are cheap, be aware that your food may take a long time to come out.

The people serving customers are the same people preparing the food in the kitchen. They come out to seat guests, take orders, and then go back to cooking. There isn’t a dedicated waitstaff like at many restaurants, so service can be slower during busy times.

That said, the food quality is worth the wait for me. Just come with the expectation that this is not a fast-food , service type of experience.“

“BCD Tofu was closing and i was craving for Korean Tofu and ribs. Tofu Village was open until 1am. I did not expect Tofu Village to beat BCD by a mile. The banchan tastes so good and so much variety. Tofu soup came out sizzling hot together with kalbi beef. What i did not expect was the Purple stone rice. Best rice i have tasted --and i eat rice everyday! The food is so good! I didnt expect a place in Gardena to serve superb Korean Tofu! we usually find these great restos in Koreatown. Service was excellent-- only 1 lady managed the orders. She moves fast and have great customer service. You need to try this place- you will not be dissapointed.“

“My family come from NewYork and we order pho combo and bun bo hue. It is 10/10. The owner dropped by to greet us and also ask how is the food. My sister was not feeling well so I ask the owner to buy a slice of ginger. He came back with the whole ginger and gave to me with no charge. I am so grateful. Thank you very much.“
