On the table . As soon as we stepped in we were greeted , which I appreciate considering many places leave u standing there awkwardly. The music level was on point , low enough to talk loud enough to appreciate. The staff is very kind , they give off family vibes . Food came out quickly and hot . We’ve been here several times so this review is long overdue . The pics I took before we left . Next time I’ll do a before and after not just an after ….. Two enthusiastic thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍“

“Update: I used to love and recommend this place but idk whats going on and its sad, the broth which is the main point is always 50/50 now. When its good its really good but when they miss sometimes its flavorless or super sweet as opposed to originally packed with flavor and all around balanced on bone flavor, spice herb packed, and sweet. Please follow old recipe or something. Still the pork spring rolls are a must have with the peanut sauce no matter what!“

“Got the lemon June drink and the truffle fried rice to go and both were really delicious. The rice Had pork and sausage in it and came with great side of in house soy sauce on the side as well as utensils and the lemon June drink had peach purée and it was super refreshing, a bit in the pricey side for everything but it was all super good so I’d definitely come back and try more, inside was fairly small but the decor was super nice and service was good and on point so I’d definitely recommend this spot“

“Pho Hue Oi is a straight up hidden gem in Torrance and I am OBSESSED. Family owned, incredibly warm, and the service is next level — the kind where you feel like you’re eating at someone’s house and they actually want you there.

The food? Let me get into it. Their Lomo Saltado hits different because they put a Vietnamese spin on it and somehow it works even better than the original. Bold, saucy, wok-fired perfection.

Now. Mom’s rice cake dish — I cannot pronounce it but I CAN tell you exactly what’s in it: shrimp, crunchy pork rinds, finished with fish sauce and Thai chilies. It sounds simple. It is NOT simple. It is layered, funky, crispy, savory and I was not prepared for how good it was. That dish alone earns all five stars.

No alcohol here but their Thai tea is genuinely elite. Thick, creamy, cold — does the job beautifully.

If you haven’t been to Pho Hue Oi yet, what are you even doing? Go. Bring people. Order everything.“

They also have a decent list of items on their vegetarian section of the menu - mostly Tofu for the protein option in vegetarian but the taste is still retained be it the rice, noodles or the bunmi.

“I come to this place 4x a week whenever I am back in LA, no joke. Nicest people who manage the place, man and woman. Everything is perfect — The pho is heavenly, the bahn mi is savory. The iced coffee is strong, which is what you need. Always a perfect experience.“

“Woke up hung over af and had cravings for some soup. Found this gem through a friend and I lucked out bc I was craving chicken pho, my favorite. Have to say it's my first time in this area (Wrigley Village) but it's nice to know there are still cozy corner stores serving up small specialized menu items. P.S Compliments to the chef for the wonderful bowl of goodness and s/o to my server Nick for being awesome! “What a hidden gem. It doesnt look like much as its a small mom and pop type place in a strip mall. Theres a parking lot right in front. The inside is clean and is nostalgic of any vietnamese restaurant.

The service was alright. There was only one guy working the register, waiting tables, and being out the food and it was pretty busy. We grabbed our own menus from the center console table and he shortly came after to take orders.

The food was really good. We both got pho and the broth was more savory than sweet and the protein portions were more than plentiful. A nice change! You know its authentic when they have chili oil out. Spring rolls were hot and homemade. Too bad they only gave 2 lettuce pieces for 5 rolls. Nonetheless, they were still delicious without.

“My sister and I were craving an afternoon coffee. We had their ice coffee with milk. It was one of the best tasting coffees I've had. The atmosphere was chill. A young lady by the name of Jenny surprised us by offering us a sample of a spring roll with peanut sauce. “My husband and I love this restaurant! We've ordered a couple times from Postmates and we have never been disappointed. I love the spicy lemongrass chicken and my husband loves the pork belly and the shaken beef. The shrimp and pork egg rolls are unlike any egg roll over ever had and so delicious. And don't get me started on the sparkling limeade. This place is such a gem. We'll be ordering from them forver.

One of the things that stand out this time (apart from the food of course) we went was a very cool playlist that was playing on the restaurant. My gf was kind of dancing to the music.

I ordered the pho with rare meat, I took a picture of it so that you can check it out for yourself. You pretty much throw the meat inside the hot pho and it will cook right there. Very good plate if you ask me.

My gf ordered the Pad Thai, which she is really a fan of it. She is always looking for Pad Thais all around LA, but she said this one in particular was very tasty. She recommends it to ALL.

Very clean place, parking could be a little tricky because is on Washington Blvd so it could get a little difficult to find a place to park, but not impossible.

“I ordered the garlic noddle with beef and it was delicious, and my partner got one of their bowls and enjoyed their food too. We ordered take out both times, but I was back for more a week later. The portion sizes are big, I made 2 meals from my noddles and it tasted even better day two. I have not ate inside the restaurant but it looks clean, bright, and even offers outdoor dining. It is shared with another restaurant that serves açaís bowls, I believe, which only opens up the variety of food you can get.“
