“Ordered the vegetable pho — portions are generous and prices are reasonable, but the broth itself was a bit bland and the vegetables a little undercooked. Overall they had a lot of options on the menu — the meat phos seem to be more popular.“

“Doing tofu and mushrooms this well is VERY RARE. Most places miss the mark on the tofu marinade, and it can be bland. Not the case here! Bun & Mi are able to work umami miracles with the mushroom tofu noodle bowl. The vegan sauce (vinaigrette) is balanced and intentionally subtle but perfect in acidity and salinity and depth.

They clearly are a mom/pop place, with exceptional quality control. They have crushed ice, filtered water. This may sound like a strange thing to remark, BUT it makes all the difference! So many places are not paying attention to the little details, serving tap water that tastes like it came out of a fish bowl. This place is giving you a very intentional, humble and delicious meal. Doing a few menu items and doing them well!“

“Such a cute little space with a great ethical commitment and excellent food! I brought my partner here to grab a quick lunch to go. We each got a banh mi (I got the lemongrass chicken, no mayo, and they got the pork) and a sparkling limeade. The person who took our order was super friendly and the food came out fast. We were both impressed by just how big the sandwiches were and how much protein was on them! And the limeade was incredible - just slightly sparkling with a hint of saltiness.“

On the table . As soon as we stepped in we were greeted , which I appreciate considering many places leave u standing there awkwardly. The music level was on point , low enough to talk loud enough to appreciate. The staff is very kind , they give off family vibes . Food came out quickly and hot . “If you’re looking for great pho, this Vietnamese restaurant absolutely delivers. The broth is rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, with deep flavor that tastes like it’s been simmered for hours. “I had a craving for tom yum soup and thankfully they took my order even though it was about 20 minutes to closing time. It was just a little too spicy (ordered mild) for my taste, but still delicious. Plenty of lemongrass goodness with a kick. I forgot to add noodles, but they accommodated me at the counter. The thai tea was very delicous, strong & creamy with just the right amount of ice. I tried the mango sunrise but it was not what I expected (again, just my taste!). It had a distinct taste to it that I can't put my finger on, but the mango compote & the coconut cream part was really good! Definitely want to try the mango sticky rice next time, but it is on the pricy side ($14).“

“Looking for a good pho place in LA and I think I found it. Food was really flavorful and was impressed how fresh and everything was. I did order Jasmine Green tea but unfortunately didn’t have any hot teas available. Service was a little on the slow side but was very professional. I recommend the Veggie Egg rolls. When its good its really good but when they miss sometimes its flavorless or super sweet as opposed to originally packed with flavor and all around balanced on bone flavor, spice herb packed, and sweet. “What a hidden gem. It doesnt look like much as its a small mom and pop type place in a strip mall. Theres a parking lot right in front. The inside is clean and is nostalgic of any vietnamese restaurant.

The service was alright. There was only one guy working the register, waiting tables, and being out the food and it was pretty busy. We grabbed our own menus from the center console table and he shortly came after to take orders.

The food was really good. We both got pho and the broth was more savory than sweet and the protein portions were more than plentiful. A nice change! You know its authentic when they have chili oil out. Spring rolls were hot and homemade. Too bad they only gave 2 lettuce pieces for 5 rolls. Nonetheless, they were still delicious without.

“Big fan! I’ve loved pho since I first tried it 20 yrs ago (aka I’ve eaten a lot of it!) and this is in my top 5. Why? Fresh, bone broth, can really taste the spices in a way that’s common in Vietnam but not in the US.

“The tumeric fish noodle is one of my favorite dishes in Los Angeles. The flavor combinations are perfect, it is so well cooked and just feels like true comfort food. I order it whenever I’m needing a little love. Thank you Viet Noodle Bar.“

“My husband and I love this restaurant! We've ordered a couple times from Postmates and we have never been disappointed. I love the spicy lemongrass chicken and my husband loves the pork belly and the shaken beef. The shrimp and pork egg rolls are unlike any egg roll over ever had and so delicious. And don't get me started on the sparkling limeade. This place is such a gem. We'll be ordering from them forver.

“We started with spring rolls (the crispy rolls were highly recommended) and won tons. Entrées were crab noodle and sweet and sour duck, but they brought us a katsu-type chicken with rice, let us keep the mistake, and we had coffee crème brûlée for desert. The fried food was tasty, but a little heavy, good portion size and wonderful flavor (for the prices). Only drank water, but every part of the menu was well attended, not to mention the house and service, and although our area of the room was a little dark, it was good ambience.“

“My experience at Spire 73 was far from impressive. While the view was stunning, the overall service and quality left much to be desired. The evening started off on a disappointing note as it was quite cold, and though they provided blankets, it was still uncomfortable. My fiancé and I ordered appetizers, but they took an unreasonably long time to arrive. In the meantime, our drinks felt watered down, lacking both flavor and strength. To make matters worse, our burgers were nearly served before our appetizers, indicating a clear lack of coordination in the kitchen. When the staff realized their mistake, they held the burgers under a heat lamp, which only compromised their quality. By the time we finally received them, they were lukewarm and lacked freshness. The final frustration came when the bill arrived. For a party of two, an automatic 18% gratuity was added—something I find completely unreasonable given the level of service provided. It felt like an undeserved charge rather than a token of appreciation for good service. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I left feeling that the atmosphere and view were the only redeeming qualities. With subpar food, slow service, and unjustified charges, I wouldn't recommend Spire 73 to anyone expecting a high-quality dining experience.“
