“Fantastic neighborhood lunch spot. Everything is quick, fresh and tasty! You can really tell how much love and creativity Chef Uyen puts into the menu. There are always new weekend specials and a large vegan& vegetarian selection. Several different types of banh mi sandwiches, al in delicious warm bread. The summer rolls are so refreshing in the heat and a large portion size. Their drinks are delicious too! I always grab a limeade or pennywort juice to complete the meal. I also really admire and appreciate their commitment to feeding and caring for the community through their meal program. All in all, a fantastic, delicious and ethical local spot to support ❤“

“Bun & Mi is a Vietnamese restaurant on Montana Ave in Santa Monica that serves the best Banh Mi in LA. Pop in through the window for a quick Vietnamese coffee, also the best in LA, or sit down at the counter for the full experience. Bun & mi serves delicious food in big portions that come at a solid price — this place is a must try in Los Angeles. Shoutout to the whole staff who are super welcoming to all guests.

I tried the satay shrimp for the first time after a regular suggested it to me. Omg it was so good! Seriously, I might be hooked.

It's also worth mentioning that the egg rolls are a must every single time. ALWAYS Hot, crispy, and delicious!!!

The veggies they bring out with the pho are always fresh and crisp and the perfect portions. It's the ultimate comfort food on any day!!!

The Chicken Curry Noodles (with the flying noodles 🤩) completely amazed us! The Lemongrass Pho was pure magic—beautifully aromatic, light, comforting, and packed with flavor. And to finish, the Mango Sticky Rice was simply a work of art and absolutely delicious.

“I love pho and found this place by accident. I came around 7:30pm and it wasn't really super busy, which was great for me! I felt like I had the restaurant all to myself! My portions were great and the price was awesome, too! Our servers were so pleasant also!

“We came here for lunch. We had cha gio, pho ga and com tam dac biet.

We were welcomed with a smile and I think the proprietoress took our order. She was so nice. Our food came out quickly.

During our meal we saw her talk to all the customers sitting. And all the customers who came in for pick up. It seems this is a favorite neighborhood spot. Everyone loved her and she in turn loved them back. It made the atmosphere so cheerful.

She talked to us and she smiled and laughed. I would come back just to speak to her and eat cheap, great food.

“Update: I used to love and recommend this place but idk whats going on and its sad, the broth which is the main point is always 50/50 now. When its good its really good but when they miss sometimes its flavorless or super sweet as opposed to originally packed with flavor and all around balanced on bone flavor, spice herb packed, and sweet. Please follow old recipe or something. Still the pork spring rolls are a must have with the peanut sauce no matter what!“

“The Pho is enough for 2 people and it's delicious! We have had both the chicken and the Wagu beef. Also, the rice plates with fried rice and either Wagu beef or spicy pork is really good. “ok i have to say i haven’t had vietnamese food here. yet. We bought sourdoughs from them the other day and I have to say they’re selling the best sourdoughs that money can buy right now in LA. (i do find the breads a little stale in general no matter how much I spend here, it might be the flour). Anyway these sourdough are amazing, no yeast, just water flour and salt! Will be back for some vietnamese!“

“No nonsense & non pretentious, amazing food, fast and friendly staff, really neat interior aesthetic. Ive ordered the vermicelli, springs rolls, papaya salad, pho, and tom kha on my many visits. Parking can be tight in the small lot but you can also park in the neighborhood and Ive never had trouble finding a spot nearby at worst. Highly recommend 🥳🤘“

“The owner did a really good job adopting some traditional dishes into vegetarian versions, and they have a vegetarian category. The traditional fish sauce is a soy and vinegar alternative for my rice noodles. I tried their #28, vegetarian pho, spring rolls and egg rolls. Really good. Other Vietnamese places hardly have such a big selection.

I love the spicy lemongrass chicken and my husband loves the pork belly and the shaken beef. The shrimp and pork egg rolls are unlike any egg roll over ever had and so delicious. Servers very nice and attentive but didn't have same taste (recomendations). We ordered the spicy tonkatsu and the another 3rd infantry division spicy soup, and the octopus balls. The food is great. Love the individual hotpot. Yet, I prefer more traditional hotpot without hotdogs, cheese, and spam. I will never order that 3rd infantry division soup, LoL. But definitely the tonkotsu one.
