“Best Pho and many dishes to enjoy. Big dining lounge but fills up really fast during lunchtime. All your food is fresh and cook to order coming out piping hot. You can upgrade your Pho soup to XL bowl, which I recommended if you're a big and hungry guy like me or a woman. I usually get their spring rolls and egg rolls that are made to order and fresh with peanut sauce. Great Pho soup for the price with fast service and great tasting Vietnamese food.“
“Got lucky today after arriving at LAX. On our way home we found this spot! Yelp gave 4.5 stars. Absolutely delighted with my experience at this pho restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious, showcasing authentic flavors that left my taste buds in awe. The ambiance was enhanced by the charming touch of traditional music, creating a delightful atmosphere. What truly stood out was the exceptional service - always delivered with a genuine smile. A 5-star gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking an outstanding dining experience!“
“Feels like a modern trendy hip pho spot that totally passes the vibe check. We were greeted as we came in even during the busy dinner time.Sat at one of the booths with space to have a stroller next to us without being in the way for others. The staff are super friendly with awesome ink tats and just super chill.I ordered the #4 pho with streak and brisket which was yummy, next time I will for sure get a large. We got 2 orders of the #30 the minced pork and veggies egg rolls which were delicious and gone as quickly as they came.Huge dinning area with a modern rustic open kitchen décor.Needed to stay up so I got me a Vietnamese coffee which was on point. Can’t wait to come back to try other things off the menu.Parking: Big parking lotKid-friendliness: Able to fit a stroller next to our table“
“2024 update: dined in for the first time and was underwhelmed with the food. Chickpea curry is decent, kaya toast is decent. The dan dan noodles are straight up not good! Extremely salty and fatty. Skipped dessert (unheard of for me) because the main dishes already made me feel so heavy and unhealthy.2022 takeout review: The laksa is incredible. It is easily two meals (can serve two people). I'm not a spice person and this was at the upper end of my spice tolerance but not too spicy. A side of clay oven bread is really good to dip in it. My only complaint was I ordered takeout and my order was ready 15 minutes later than the original estimate.“
“This place has the best pho in the area handsThe customer service is dopeThe owner is always very welcoming and his recommendations always hit the spotThere’s endless veggies for your phoI love this place always but best for rainy daysI definitely recommend this spotParking: There’s street parking and public parking lots in the behind areas of pacific , how everI’ve always found street parking right up front of the spot or within a couple of feetKid-friendliness: Yes it’s kid friendlyThe owner is very friendly and accommodating“
“This place is great. Love their eggrolls. And when I walk in, they start getting my order ready without me saying a word. And they even know that I like the fresh soy sauce instead of the pre-packaged one. They are super friendly, and the food Egg Roll are always fresh and delicious. And it is always busy but you never have to wait too long. Ambiance is good for a takeout spot, but they have a few chairs in case you need to sit down.“
“Cash only. Busy lunch location for the area. Standard menu items that cover rice to noodles, a big menu for a small mom and pop shop. Small parking lot can get hard to get out of during rush hour. Maybe easier to park on the street instead.“
“Been here a few times, have ordered the pho, vermicelli, spring rolls, and a rice plate. I can easily recommend any of these items! My favorite so far has been the combo vermicelli where you can pick two proteins. If you're looking for your pho fix, this is the spot.“
“This place is incredible. I dined here with my vegetarian son twice in five days, but I’m not a vegetarian. I didn’t miss the meat whatsoever. The food was seasoned so deliciously that it was simple to eat healthier. The texture and flavor of their “meat impostors” will trick your palate! My only criticism was the bathroom was not exactly the cleanest! Given the quality of the food, this seems like an easy fix!Vegetarian options: Nothing bland here!Parking: Several parking spotsKid-friendliness: Space for childrenWheelchair accessibility: Space for wheelchair or walker“
“Came here for late lunch and it never disappoints. Thank you for your great service broth is so tasty this my pho spot ✨⚡️You can have conversation here music is only in the background. Theres a tv so when i come alone ill just watch tv.The mister that works here is humble and super sweet. Prices are affordable. They also do takeout!“
“Love the shrimp spring rolls and egg rolls. My daughter loves the pho and my husband likes his grilled pork and rice. We were able to dine in at 11pm. Glad we were able to make it, esp after arriving from a transatlantic flight. Thank you for the good food.Kid-friendliness: They have a high chair and kiddie utensils that came with a scissor.“
“10/10 would recommend Came her for pho and ended up ordering everything but pho. They had a lot of selections and each one had there own taste I personally likes the sweet and sour chicken! We ordered the red curry, basil fried rice, cucumber salad, and shrimp spring rolls. Everything was delicious.“
“A real hidden gem in the South Bay where authentic Vietnamese food is scarce. This is a hole-in-the-wall so don't expect anything other than real, authentic Vietnamese food. There's not too many Vietnamese eaters around here where you can get tasty hu tieu (Vietnamese pork and seafood noodle soup), bun rieu (Vietnamese crab noodle soup), and bun bo Hue (Vietnamese spicy beef and pork noodle soup). I was also delighted after trying their bo kho (Vietnamese beef stew)! Just stop reading more yelp reviews and go try.“
“Saw this restaurant on Door Dash. This is now my go to Vietbamese restaurant. Ingredients are fresh and everything is super flavorful. The spring rolls. Garlic noodles and shrimp fried rice are my fav. Looking forward to trying more items from their menu. I love the spice level of their food. That peanut dipping sauce is life. 10/10 would eat again.“
“First timer here. Huge portion sizes, good prices, and they offer more meats compared to other pho spots. The to go bowl is HUGE. You’re eating straight from a bowl vs a styrofoam container you usually get from other pho spots. That’s a huge plus for me. I will be coming back ??“
“The food is good but it is not worth the price. I got the pho combination which was 16 dollars. I would not mind the price but they are stingy with the meat. I would not bother coming back when there are so many other options that are worth the price of admission.“
“LOVE Pho Crystal. Great, friendly service & everything DELICOUS! We had pho, garlic noodles beef & shrimp(BEST I've ever had), spring roll(chicken) was sooo yummy. Price is great too. They gave us passion fruit tea free with order and free dessert atv the end(tapioca mango pudding) We drive from Downey. BEST garlic noodles around“
“We discovered this Noodle bar in January when I was down at UCLA for a minor surgery. Food was great then, so we stopped by for lunch last week. Food was great again.Totally recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a clean, quite meal with GREAT food....“
“I’ve go to this restaurant at least once a month. Everything on the menu is good. My favorite is the brisket Pho, pork egg rolls, shrimp rice wraps, chowmein and the hot jasmine tea. The hot tea is loose leaf, served in a lil tea pot. So you may pour yourself as you go. They will give you a to go cup for what’s left as well. All the condiments are on the tables already included the chop sticks and straws. They have fountain drinks and drinks in the refrigerator for you to choose. My favorite is the jarrito guava or the parrot guava. They also have glass bottles YooHoo and snacks like chips and chocolate bars at the front. The place is good for kids. My daughter enjoys the quiet ambience and the seating fits your party comfortably. The owner Steve and his wife are amazing nice people. The parking is ample as well. My favorite restaurant overall especially for taking my toddler.“
“We tried the vegetarian banh mi and vegetarian Vietnamese burrito. It was tasty but the banh mi was probably the smallest one I’ve ever seen next to the ones served at Disneyland. The burrito dipping sauce is tasty but NOT vegetarian. It looks like the base for the pho is also beef based. Parking is street or in the lot that is small.“
“Decent Vietnamese. Portions were smaller than other Vietnamese places, and many of the sauces such as the Nuoc Cham for the Bun Bowl and Peanut sauce for Spring Rolls, were weak and watered down. Would come here again, but hope they can improve these things.“
“[Review #677]2023-080Food Order:BYOB (1/2 garlic rice, 1/2 vermicelli noodles, grilled pork, basil, bean sprouts, cilantro, cucumbers, jalapeños, lime, mint, pickled cabbage, pickled carrots & daikon, pickled onion & habanero, scallions, sunomono, tomatoes, crispy onions, crushed peanuts, toasted sesame seeds, cilantro ginger sauce)Bowl Specialist: Magnificent Maria (manager)!Menu/Price: compact menu with slightly higher than normal price points (expected/on par for the westside), though portions are about an extra 1/2 - whole serving, it's considered reasonable.Restroom: gender neutral on the right, just before the exit to the backside patio dining.Parking: lots of metered parking along Venice Blvd., rare availability during lunch/dinner rush. Free on Sundays, all other days are 25¢/15-mins.; look out for signs in the evening for free parking.Trying to clear out my drafts for the year... I learned about Mȳ Lai via a YEE (Review #676) -- of course -- about 2 years ago. Even though I work a couple of miles south of the restaurant, I wouldn't have known about them even though they're located near the busy corner of Venice Blvd. & Centinela Ave. in Mar Vista.Mȳ Lai (= Vietnamese mixed with American aka Ameriasian) is a modern, fast-casual Vietnamese restaurant that's the brainchild of husband & wife team: Shad Davis & Traci Phan-Davis. I love the idea of a bánh mì in a bowl form & one that you can create. It's a simple 4-step process build your own (bánh mì) or bowl (BYOB): 1) Base It (bánh mì, brown rice, cauliflower rice, garlic rice, salad, vermicelli noodles); 2) Meat It (crispy tofu, grilled chicken, grilled pork, Impossible meat, rockin' beef); 3) Top It (veggies: basil, bean sprouts, cilantro, cucumbers, jalapeños, lime, mint, pickled cabbage, pickled carrots & daikon, pickled onion & habanero, scallions, sunomono, tomatoes; crunchies: crispy onions, crispy garlic, crushed peanuts, toasted sesame seeds); 4) Sauce It (cilantro ginger, honey sriracha, miso sesame, Mỹ Lai vinaigrette, peanut sauce, sesame vinaigrette, tamarind vinaigrette, vegan Mỹ Lai vinaigrette).I had an excellent intro from Maria that I repeated the same deliciousness on my subsequent visits during COVID-19 lockdown. While I didn't enjoy my place of employment, I would have frequented Mỹ Lai more often due to the short distance, generous portions (hefty in weight & volume!), but I left before they reopened. I've been back a couple of times, & my takeout bowls are usually packed to the brim that the lid doesn't stay shut. O_oWith a variety of veggie toppings & crunchies, each bowl is "brilliantly" (colored) crafted. Between the grilled pork & chicken, I prefer the pork even though it doesn't have the char/grilled marks of the thịt nướng that I'm used to. The pickled veggies were crisp but a bit muted in acidity, needed the pickled onions & habaneros for some oomph of chili heat. I liked the flavorful cilantro ginger dressing best; if you do a combo, I would advise an 80:20 sesame & tamarind vinaigrette mix. The ratio of protein:base & veggies were on point that I had a bite of everything from start to finish... not quite authentic, but certainly satisfying & yummy! They have a Maine Root Soda Fountain... you gotta try the mexicane cola! Not in my neck of the woods, but I'll stop by Mȳ Lai when I'm infrequently in the area.Recommended: BYOB (better bargain & more food than bánh mì).“
“I’m not sure why it took me this long to find out about this place, but they have the most authentic char koay teow you can find in Los Angeles! (As close as it can get without the one ingredient that is banned here) Their Hainan Chicken Rice and Mee Goreng is pretty spot on as well. If you are Malaysian/Singaporean living on the west side and has cravings for food from home, look no further!I wish they have more offerings like Roti Canai or Hokkien Mee but being an Asian fusion place half their offerings are western. I’ll take what I can get though!“
“This place has grown on me a lot. It's overpriced when considering some of their dishes like spring rolls aren't really that much more elevated compared to traditional Vietnamese restaurants. However, their seafood dishes are certainly worth the money. I recommend the salt and pepper lobster, seafood curry, black rice, and sticky rice. You can get your pho, banh mi, and garlic noodles elsewhere. Shaky shaky beef, banh xeo, and rice paper rolls are also dependable options.“
“The food here is always on point sandwiches are excellent! The owner of the business is the one who always serves you, and she's very very pleasant and very very nice! It's a quick inconvenient place to get into and get out of and have a nice little meal.“
“I had the shrimp and pineapple fried rice. 5 stars for the portions. 4 stars for the food. The shrimp was pretty bland but the rice was good. Orange chicken was delicious. We all had a decent amount of leftovers because the portion sizes were large. Prices were relatively decent. The shrimp fried rice was $13 ish for a large portion.“
“Food is definitely not my favorite pho, but it's pretty solid. It's a a little sweet which is not really what I expect out of pho and the broth is also on the milder side. As for service, it's very good. I had my food served in around 5-8ish minutes starting from when I first sat down. One gripe I do have is the quality of the disposable chopsticks though. While the second set I grabbed was fine, the first set was slightly green and one of the sticks was split. All in all though, I'd probably come back to this place.“
“I ordered the shrimp rice bowl and the popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken was nice and juice, my kid loved it. I didn't realize the shrimp wasn't deveined or deshelled, and it was slightly overcooked. I craved more of the pickled carrots and I believe if they added pickles onions it would set it off for real for real. The meal as a whole was good though.“
“Haven't been to a Lee's in years and it's actually a pretty decent chain for what it is. Just a quick and cheap banh mi and a lot of other options that'll do the job in a pinch. We stopped by really early in the morning before a flight and it was short and sweet. We also grabbed some pastries too and they were very hot and yummy. It's not the cheapest in town but it's still worth it.“
“Excited about finding new Pho spot in Torrance. Brought my daughter here since she wanted a new Pho joint and she really liked it so did I :) Will certainly frequent this location and tell others about itKid-friendliness: My child really likes the food and the ambiance is kid friendly as well“
“Ordered combo #2 to go. The combo consists of 2-shrimp spring rolls, fries, and iced Thai tea with no boba. Spring rolls: Each roll is individually wrapped, and they are made to order. The dipping sauce is a fish sauce with chili. This is a great dish for hot summer days. Fries: Also freshly made and seasoned with salt. Thai tea: Tasted not too sweet and very creamy. Ambiance: Mom and Pop shop with a lot to offer, bakery, Vietnamese dishes, Vietnamese sandwiches, fruits, frozen egg rolls, etc. Staffs are nice. Price: The combo I got only $9 which I think is unbeatable. Overall: This place is a hidden gem, will definitely come back and try other food!“
“Indulged in a culinary journey at an upscale Vietnamese gem. Exceptional service paired with exquisite flavors elevated the dining experience. From the delicate shaky steak to the artfully presented dishes, each bite reflected authentic mastery. A fusion of tradition and innovation, this restaurant sets a new standard for Vietnamese gastronomy. A must-visit for connoisseurs seeking an elevated taste of Vietnam.“
“My first and only pho place I've been to so I didn't have anything else to compare it to. However, their food is so good I haven't been tempted to go anywhere else. My daughter enjoys the P2 filet mignon and I like the shrimp pho. The place is really small and in the evenings it is very packed. Ideal time to dine here is around 2-3 pm“
“My inaugural visit to this Vietnamese Pho restaurant left me thoroughly impressed. The beef soup they serve is simply extraordinary, and I'm already looking forward to returning. Moreover, their service was remarkably swift and attentive—surpassing my expectations. Thank u so much this definitely made my day!! ?“
“The small portion was really good, I had trouble finishing it! Also tasted AMAZING! And only for 11.50 which is not bad. The chili oil goes so well with the noodle and the brown sweet sauce (idk what its called) goes great to dip your beef. Overall will be coming back often, amazing taste and price! ? + staff is super nice“
“Was super craving pho on a rainy Wednesday night so decided to take a trip to bamboo song. Pricing is reasonable my combo pho was $15~ excluding tips. It was a comfort meal, delicious and filling. I don't think the combo pho had beef tripes which I usually look forward to.“
“Came to enclave to see what restaurants were open and saw that 123 pho opened up. They had so many dishes to choose from. When you walk in, you'll order and find a table to sit at. Their restaurant is an open area and they have table outside as well to choose from. We ended up getting the shaken beef with noodles and the rare flank pho. They were both really good! I think I'd ask for the onions to be well done for the shaken beef. I would definitely come back to try other items like the lemongrass chicken and Vietnamese crème brûlée coffee.“
“Ordered via GrubHub and received Pho Ga (chicken), a spring roll appetizer, and Thai iced tea.**Delivery:**The meal arrived securely packed in a large brown bag. Each item was individually contained to prevent spills. While the food was still hot upon arrival, the broth's temperature had slightly affected the container's integrity. Despite this, all items were intact.**Quality:**Overall, the food was satisfactory. However, the side ingredients like bean sprouts, mint, and basil were sparse and not of the best quality. Only a fraction of these ingredients was usable. The chicken in the pho was a bit bland and slightly tough.**Taste:**The pho broth, a pivotal component, was average at best. It seemed as though it might have been prepared from a seasoning pack. While not bad, it lacked depth and didn't stand out. However, with added ingredients like hoisen and a touch of spice, the taste improved. On a scale, it would be rated a 6 out of 10. The spring rolls offered a pleasant surprise with their crispy interior, enhancing the overall experience. The Thai iced tea was decent but not extraordinary.**Final Thoughts:**For those seeking outstanding pho, this might not be your top pick. However, if you're near the USC campus and looking for a convenient option with decent pho, it's worth considering. As a USC student, I find it satisfactory for regular orders.“
“I have dined in several times, but giving the 5 star review, because of a recent take out order. Specified I was sick, and they took care of me by throwing in extra broth with a personal get well note written on the cup. Great food, made with love. I recommend the spring rolls, brisket broth pho, and the AP Chao Crispy Pulled Pork Noodles.“
“Best I have had around anywhere in Los Angeles. By the looks you wouldn't understand how incredibly fresh and always perfect this poke and sushi comes out ever time. Never disappointed. This review is food quality only. The staff is amazing here but they are not servers. They provide the best over the counter poke bowl around. Parking is always easy and if there is a line it always goes fast.“
“Food is really good here. Especially the BBQ pork banh Mi sandwiches. I tried the brisket and shrimp pho multiple times and can't really recall a time I was disappointed. At times due to high demand for ordering over the phone or online. The food can sometimes seemed rushed the shrimp wasn't deveined properly. An out of all the times I've been here it only happened once. So big ups to pho 1945 & Poke Bowl food is great and customer service was up to par. I highly recommend this place for there great sandwiches and amazing pho.“

Blue Lotus Vietnamese is a gem in Carson, inviting locals and visitors alike to savor the rich tapestry of Vietnamese cuisine in a cozy and inviting setting.“
“We loved the fresh ingredients used here at this restaurant. The pho was delicious! I ordered the vegetable pho which was filled with different vegetables! Great for when it's cold outside or if you're feeling a little under the weather. Also great friendly service! Definitely will be returning!“
“Phorage is a no-frills restaurant for delicious food and outstanding service. This is my go-to spot for pho and I love the specials they offer which offer some tasty fusion recipes (Birria pho and Spricy Lemongrass pho are great specials they offer) Other favorites include broken rice dishes as well as vermicelli cold noodle salads (BEST CHICKEN THIGHS EVER). Since I usually order delivery or takeout I know how quickly and efficiently this restaurant runs. It’s become my comfort food and I eat it weekly.Dietary restrictions: I have gluten intolerance and I can eat the pho without any reactions. Big win!“
“Location was easy to find and I used to be a very regular at the Redondo location so I wanted to give this location a chance. Egg rolls were on point! Almost got a second order. The pho was good but not amazing, id blame the meat. One of the better spots to eat in the area.“
“Very glad I came here. I read some of the reviews, but my experience was very very good. I don’t know why this place is not rated higher.?I had the duck soup large with clear noodles and it was yummy with plenty of duck.?I also got a shrimp vermicelli bun to go that was just okay.⚠️Also, you probably want to double check your togo orders; they accidentally gave me pork sausage instead of shrimp paste ? so I had to throw it out.Service was very good and very attentive.Parking: There’s a large shared shopping center parking lot behind the restaurant“
“I ordered pho with beef steak and beef balls. It’s among the best pho I had in west LA. The soup is great. But honestly the beef is ok. The price may be a little higher than expected. The restaurant is in a good location, there’s boba next door.“
“So you have to keep in mind that there are no other pho restaurants in the Lynwood area- that being said the pho broth is actually pretty solid even if compared to most of the spots where Vietnamese restaurants are densely populated like Garden Grove etc but if you realize that this is the only one for miles then the solitary factor becomes magnified. They have many other options which the menu bifurcates into other Asian cuisine options which didn’t seem all too bad either. Don’t get it twisted though- it seems pho is their bread and butter.“
“This was the last place my husband and I visited while in LA. Because of the location I was scared the food was going to be trash or that the restaurant would be so nasty that I wouldn’t want to eat there. However, this place was a pleasant surprise! Yes, it was a little rundown and outside there was a lot of garbage and old furniture but inside was clean although it was older, it was still very clean. The food was absolutely delicious! This is one of those those places that I wish that we had in my hotel. It’s a little mom and pop hole in the wall spot but their food packs of mighty punch and the service does too! The staff was very sweet and accommodating. If you’re in LA or nearby, I would definitely recommend for a good pho“
