“My best friend is Thai and he recommended me this place way back. This has been my favorite restaurant for almost 2 decades. The service is always great and welcoming. Food is always fantastic. Even back then, they served up several authentic dishes that you don't normally see in in typical Thai restaurants, like hoi tod or yum pla duk foo. Here are some of my recommendations:
Beef jerky - a must. It's unlike beef jerky anywhere else. It's tender, light crisp, and super flavorful. I order this every single time
Essan grilled sausage - very well balanced season, doesn't feel too fatty
Yum pla duk foo - fried minced fish on a bed of cabbage and cashew, served with a spicy tangy green apple salad
Tom kha soup - flavorful, sweet and tangy to balance out the creamy coconut milk.
Curry fried cat fish - more on the spicy side but the flavors are so satisfying. However, if you don't like bones, maybe ask if they can substitute for a different kind of fish
Rad na, or pad kee mao or pad see ew - very comforting
They are family-operated business. I hope you go support them because they are super nice and their food definitely will not disappoint“

“Great food cooked with love, like you're at Grandma's house, great prices and super friendly service ❤️ I had the drunken noodle which was reality flavorful, nice and spicy and they give you a great chili oil that gave a nice smoky finish, my girlfriend got the orange chicken lunch special with vegetable soup and it was delicious, portions are generous, food came out fast, and no wait to be seated 👍 lovely restaurant with cozy wood panelled walls and somehow this is a rarity but the chairs are actually comfortable. This restaurant serves one of Korea’s most classic comfort foods and hangover meals — soondaegook.

“I had lunch yesterday with friends and I ordered the eggplant dish. It was absolutely DELICIOUS and came with a salad and rice. The service was excellent and the prices are quite reasonable. I'm looking forward to a return visit!!“

“We ordered ahead when they opened for the day, and when we arrived 15 minutes later we picked up our order. We had two extra large thai curry pizza with chicken and were able to sit down for lunch. It tasted good. There were peppers, chicken, and a lot of cheese on the pizza, with curry on the side as a dip or topping. The curry is slightly spicy, but good. Highly recommend.“

“Han Yang is good. It’s also wonderfully old school. Nothing about the place feels particularly interested in being redesigned for Instagram, which I appreciate. You come here for Korean comfort food, metal dishes of banchan, enormous bowls of soup and stone pots hot enough to continue cooking your dinner while you eat it. And that stone pot is where I’d start.

The gondre dolsot bibimbap was fantastic. Gondre is Korean thistle and here it gets worked through the rice with the egg, seaweed and everything else until the whole thing becomes earthy, savory and deeply satisfying. But the best part comes underneath. Leave it alone long enough and the rice against the stone develops that beautiful scorched crust, nurungji, which you eventually scrape loose and mix back through everything.

That combination of the greens, sesame, egg and crispy rice is ridiculously good. There are dishes you finish because you’re hungry and dishes where you keep digging around the bottom of the bowl because you’re convinced there must be another good piece hiding somewhere. This was the latter.

The galbitang was more complicated for me. The beef itself was excellent. Generous pieces, tender, falling easily from the bone and soft enough that our kids loved it. Plenty of green onion, too. My issue was the broth. I prefer galbitang on the restrained side so I can decide where it goes from there. Same reason I like seolleongtang arriving almost defiantly plain, give me the broth and let me dress it up myself with salt, saeujeot or whatever else I want.

Han Yang has already made those decisions for you. The galbitang broth was noticeably sweet and salty and eventually it became a little much for me. That’s preference as much as criticism, plenty of people will probably love it exactly as it arrives. I just wanted the volume turned down.

The banchan was similarly mixed but mostly good. The napa kimchi was solid and nicely balanced. The kkakdugi was particularly good. The mustard greens, however, were ferociously sour. I like fermented food. These had me physically wincing.

The dipping sauce for the galbi was excellent, though and I kept going back to it. Rice was average and a little dry. It did its job.

Service was good and the whole experience was easy. The room itself has some age on it, tables are fairly close together and depending on where you’re seated you may find yourself with a commanding view of the bathroom door. Nobody has ever requested the chef’s table at the restroom, but here we are.

Somehow I don’t particularly mind any of it. Han Yang feels like a restaurant that knows what it is. It isn’t polished into anonymity. People are here eating giant bowls of soup, mixing rice in scorching stone pots and getting on with their lives. And when a restaurant can put something as good as that gondre bibimbap in front of me, I can forgive a dry bowl of rice and a bathroom with excellent sightlines.

Absolutely coming back. And next time, I’m getting that bibimbap again.“

“I was told about this place by a friend who knows her stuff so I thought I'd give it a try. I recommend you use your navigation to find it because you'll drive right by it because it's in a small strip mall. Off the corner of Jersey and rosecrans. The restaurant is on the small side and I'm sure they get crowded with the dinner rush. I went for the lunch special served Monday to Saturday from 11am to 3 pm. I chose the Kung Pao Chicken, that comes with the daily soup,egg roll,fried rice and a fortune cookie which is alot for $11.95. They chop up their red pepper into pieces, so it has a kick ! The portions were large enough to make two meals which is a plus. Definitely will be back to try other options on the menu. Especially the hot soups which look amazing. They are closed on Tuesday ,so I had to wait an extra day. A thumbs up to whomever designed their menu, easy to decide what to order and prices displayed clearly 😀.“

First visit was General Tso’s (my favorite), 2nd visit was Chicken Chow mein, today is Spicy Orange Chicken (move over General Tso’s, you’ve been replaced!). The staff is always friendly and helpful, the food is really good. When their menu says “spicy”, they mean a nice little kick and not a flamethrower!! I always order to go, 10 minutes and I am out the door. Portions are big (mine always makes 2 meals). I found my new favorite place 😁“

“Mhat Korean Restaurant may be a small spot, but it delivers authentic Korean flavors and a really satisfying meal.

We ordered the Dak Galbi (Stir-fried Spicy Chicken) with a side of mozzarella cheese, along with an order of fried dumplings. The dak galbi was packed with flavor, and we appreciated being able to adjust the spice level to something a little milder. Adding the mozzarella was definitely the right call, it melted into the spicy chicken, making the dish even richer and creamier while balancing the heat beautifully. The fried dumplings were crispy, flavorful, and made a great side.

The best part of the meal was saving room for the fried rice at the end. They cooked it right in the leftover dak galbi sauce, soaking up all of the rich, spicy flavors. It’s definitely the way to finish the meal and something I highly recommend ordering.

The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but the food is authentic, the portions are satisfying, and everything came together for a great dining experience. If you’re craving dak galbi, this place is well worth checking out.“

“Hidden gem closed to home. Rare to find great tasting pho closed to home and big in portion.

Throughout the years many pho places give very little and tiny portions, but Tasty Pho reminds me of the good size pho bowls one used to get back in the day. Their prices are also very reasonable. Their stuff attentive to your needs.

The broken rice is very complete with the egg quiche, shrimp paste and radish carrot salad for a very good price. No need to go to Little Saigon anymore to eat great Vietnamese food“

“I am an owner of a small business and I often bring my 10 employees here for our lunch meetings. I have done this last 5 years or more. The Manager , Nishith , deserves a huge thank you for always getting us seated , served and taken care of before promptly . As a business owner I see the value of what he does for the Olive Garden company as he makes each of our visits enjoyable . The rest of the team here at the Stanton OG are also top notch.. There is another restaurant we used to go to for our staff luncheon / meeting but this is our go to place . This review is long overdue .

“I love this place! Its low-key, it's clean and the lady that opens is just absolutely amazing! Been here a few times already. My goto is The Mul Naengmyun (Korean cold noodle with icey beef broth) . Absolutely delicious! The banchan varieties are tasty and they always as k to refill you up.. All the soups (hot) are very flavorful, hearty, and tasty!!!!!! Highly recommend. Fullerton location by amerige heights is very delicious too!!here is my preference though😀“

“This is now my favorite place for Nem Nướng Cuốn (grilled pork summer rolls). They are only $3.50 each or 3 for $9 (plus tax). The young lady cashier is so nice, she always offer a FREE Vietnamese coffee when I buy 2 orders of 3 rolls each. They are individually wrapped in plastic wrap before placing in the container so the veggies remain fresh and crunchy while the fried rice paper inside remains crispy for hours after purchase. The dipping sauce is full of umami and accompanied by a clove of garlic, fresh grounded red chilli as well as a whole green pepper as pictured. That’s very authentic Nha Trang style.

“Today at M’s kitchen, I went with the chef’s suggestion of “cold noodles” (which is the meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste, ask for cold noodles). The pronunciation sounds like Tsa Chang lian mein, and while my mandarin is terrible the food was thankfully not. I overheard another table also commenting on their wait time for food. Other than that, the food was delicious and the service was fine. The salaw machu kreung and the prahok sauce was really good. The frog was alright tbh, I guess I’m not used to it being prepared in that way. “We were a oarty of approximately 18 including 4 kids. Our server Chris was Magnificent and patient with. Got our orders down exactly as we requested, on the first try. Good job! We also ordered various desserts all of which were DELICIOUS so sorry i don't have photos to show but please know EVERY giid item ordered was right on point
Wife had the Eggplant Parmigianna and a slice of tres leches cake, my Grilled Chicken Margherite and Chocolate Lasagna were absolutely mouth-watering. I th8nk the birthday girl had the shrimp Alfredo. Others had the Calabrian Steak and Shrimp Bucatini, the Grilled Salmon minestrone, Ravioli Carnonara, Seafood Alfredo, Chicken and Gnocchi. Kids had their pizza (of course) other desserts included were Sicilian Cheesecakes,Black-Tie mousse Cake and Italian Doughnuts
All in all spectacular dishes.

“I ordered 2 different beef pho and an order of the pork and shrimp spring rolls. The meat and broth in the pho was so good and worth every penny. The tendon in my soup was so soft and yummy. The spring rolls were a bit of a disappointment as it was 90% garden salad mix straight out of the bag. 2 out of 3 of the spring rolls split open due to the over crowding of the salad. If the salad was tossed in a light sauce/vinegar, it would liven up the spring rolls so much.“
