this is literally one of the best malatang places i have come across in my life, great soup base options, good variety of meats and noodles, and many options for dipping sauces. i usually go for the beef bone soup base at medium spice, and they give you a large pitcher of lemon water at your table. A great place to go after a long day of school or work, especially at this price!
Feels like family atmosphere, friendly courteous service, many fish items to choose. Healthy fresh and satisfying.
I think LXF Malatang’s management is very detail-oriented. The vegetables are nicely washed and usually look very clean, with the thickest stems trimmed off. The meat is also higher quality than what you typically find at other malatang places. I also really appreciate that they use pots that keep the broth and food piping hot for a really long time. The broth also taste better than other places

The staff is very nice, friendly, kind, and greeted with a smile. The waitress explains the process to first-timers: guests take a large plastic bowl with metal tongs and serve themselves a wide variety of foods, then choose a flavored broth and spice level. The food is weighed and priced by the pound, not AYCE, so guests don’t feel pressured to overeat and leftovers can be packed. The selection of veggies is great, including winter melon and taro, with a sauce bar offering standard toppings like green onions, cilantro, and garlic. The broth is steaming hot and delicious—mild or spicy—and the secret broth is recommended, though a bit salty. The beef was a very fatty cut. The price is reasonable and affordable, with free drinks given. The topping bar and food bar are super clean. An English guide sign outside walks through the process. The food is delicious and extraordinary, and guests look forward to returning.
