“My husband and I ordered several dishes, and everything was delicious and prepared meticulously. The broiled fish with grated daikon is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Our server was attentive and made our meal comfortable. The decor is more pared down, but very clean. We’re visiting from out of town, but if we lived in the area we would definitely go back.“

“INCREDIBLE is an understatement! From the ambiance, to the service, to the impeccably currated menu. Just WOW. The attention to detail on every aspect at Casa De Onda was perfection. The tropical margarita was a show stopper, fresh lime and coconut is a combo I didn’t know I needed. The steak frites melted in you mouth & was topped with a homemade Chimichurri that was a burst of fresh flavor. The vibes from start to finish we insane! 1000/10.“

“I don't think they serve food but the drinks are stellar! The Boulevard is a great local spot with a range of options from crafty fresh squeezed cocktails, top shelf shots or white claw... and everything else - they have it all. The pool table in the back is nice, there are large TVs and great tunes playing. They also have cozy interior booths for date night lol.

The service is the best - friendly and quick. The drinks are moderately priced normally a good deal but I also suggest going during happy hour from 5-7pm. They have fun decorating for Halloween and the holidays too which adds to the vibe. I definitely recommend stopping by The Boulevard for an adult beverage with atmosphere.“

“This place is always great. We love their pies! Some of our favorites include the Joint Decision, Special Agent Utah, and Fiin’n to Fire. Their buffalo habanero wings are phenomenal (though they are definitely spicy). We had the Mo Money Mo Problems pie Detroit style and it was a bit dry since there is no pizza sauce (white pie), but we love getting their pizzas just the classic thin style. Wait times can be extremely long (over an 1.5 hrs) if you are eating at the restaurant, but it’s nice that we can order a beer at the bar and wait for our table in the meantime. Staff are all friendly! Definitely a great time“

“My favorite place to go eat when i visit my family in Santa Ana. I usually get their Fish platter. With black beans, rice, and Ensenada style fish. Ive tried their grilled fish which is actually subpar, definitely their worse style. Blackened is good, but Ensenada style is where its at.“

“First timer drove all the way from Downey worth the drive. I had the blue cheese bacon burger with garlic fries and of course a Dr. Pepper. Very friendly staff they all help out my daughter had the mushroom burger with onion rings and my son had the bacon cheese burger with tots. A must try the only other thing that caught my eye was the hot wings the table next to us ordered Definitely next time“

Omar is an upbeat, fun bartender with creative drink ideas and a joy to hang with. Good music, nice vibes and a cherished secret in a sea of corporate offices.“

“Living in the boonies of San Diego Co has benefits…(no traffic jams)…but few awesome perks…(like Tiki bars!!) Luckily the gods aligned, in Orange Co, and our last stop was the Stowaway. Intriguing, dark-painted, one small door marked the front of a strip-mall establishment… hmmm…sorta scary…but not really!! But there were two of us, and we had researched this place…so… The doorman looked at us, said a few things and unlocked a chain. We walked through curtains into the darkest bar I had ever been in, and shuffled toward the green lit bar…which turned red, then blue. The girl bartender handed us a card which we couldn’t read…it was really dark inside. From the shadows, up walked a bearded guy wearing a black shirt with hibiscus’s, smiled, extended his hand and said, “Hi, I’m “WILL”…can I explain anything to you? We had lots of questions…about drinks, Tiki ceramics, glassware, appetizers…and WILL cheerfully explained everything…He was fun, cheery, smart, and So Nice!! He brought us amazing drinks (a Tropical Margarita, a Cococano and totally fun ceramic sculptures from which to drink…an Angler Zombie Fish with a light, and Carved Volcano mug that had a flame show-by WILL, included!! Awesome!!) Totally wonderful décor…lights, bamboo furniture, comfy stools, the Skull Cave and waterfall, starry night ceiling, cool pool tables with lotsa room around them…everything thought through perfectly!!! We are definitely going back…VERY soon!!!! Thanks so much for everything, WILL!!“

“Had lunch at Taco Rosa Newport Beach and really enjoyed the experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared, with authentic Mexican-inspired dishes and great presentation. “Spicy chicken feet is at the right level of spiciness. They don’t have boneless option, so you have to do your work. And if you decided to order spicy chicken feet, order with diy rice ball. Not because it’s fiery hot, but the portion of one order is def not enough for two people. So if you are hungry, combo menu will be the best. Me and my friend got combo A, and we got enough of various dishes ( chicken feet+diy rice ball+steamed egg+fried chicken). Also this place didn’t seemed to be overly busy even in the Friday night. No need for reservation.“

This here's our bar, our heartbeat. Fourth we light it up, holidays on lock, pool tables bruised from our elbows, salt and lager thick as perfume. Ensenada-Newport race? Honey, we command this place like pirates. The Owner finally did somethin' right-floor don't grab my flip-flops, somebody's moppin'! Jeff's still king behind the bar, new gals laugh real, pour cold, TVs sharp as knives. Only hitch-get Cruisers to wing it over so we quit dodgin' Death Trap Balboa Boulevard. Five stars, fat tip, and girl-we're bringin' every neighbor, every sunburned neighbor's dog, every salty soul we love down here to share the buzz we just crashed into.“
