Broken Spell Lounge is a classy and lowkey spot with a welcoming atmosphere. The decor offers a nod to Snow White, and live music, from a jazz duo to a piano player, adds a nice touch. The menu features distinct drinks themed after Sleeping Beauty. These include The Benevolent Faerie, a flight of three potions; the Make It Blue, Make It Pink, which changes color; the universally palatable Black Thorn Bramble; and the polarizing Raven’s Wing, which comes with a smoke and fire show. The drinks are fun, interesting, and delicious.
The service is great, friendly, helpful, fantastically efficient, and seamless. Staff members are welcoming. The lounge does not offer reservations, so there can be a wait to sit unless you arrive when it opens at 4 pm. The food is good and worth it. Options include a pizza, truffle fries which are more than enough for two people, dry rub wings, a prime rib sandwich and dip, and delicious dessert. The spot is very clean. It is a favorite drink spot and visitors would definitely come back to actually lounge.
