The restaurant was busy and short-staffed. We waited nearly 15 minutes to order and another 20 minutes for our food, only for my fish and chips to arrive burnt and inedible.
We always look forward to visiting BJs when we're in town. Today was not a great experience. I let the waiter know I wanted to order the pizookies when the food came out. One person was missing when it was time, so she said she'd pop back. More than 20 minutes later she still hadn't been back, even for water refills. We had 4 empty cups sitting on the table. Walked in for a Monday take out pizza special and was pleasantly greeted by a employee who took my order, engaged in pleasant conversation, and made me feel like he really cared about my order and even asked if I wanted a drink. He was well dressed and well spoken, friendly and helpful. His name is Mac McFadden and told me he would soon be transitioning to waiting tables and I have no doubt he will surpass expectations as his demeanor is that of service.
