“As almost rveryone who has been to an In and Out knows there are hamburgers an cheese burgers made fresh. Options are no onions, raw or grilled onions, tomatos lettuce sauce and pickles lid some I don't know about. Fries can have melted cheese and sauce and instead of a bun the burger can be serv ed wrapped on a lettuce leaf. Drinks are fountain and unlimited a milk shake or coffee. It is almost always a mob scene which tells you how popular it is.“

I am from Columbia Missouri and I am visiting my Son, Grand Kids, and family there, just a few blocks to the East of Tustin. I am a musician, part time, and I like to street busk (play music on the streets) for grins. I noticed your nostalgic decor and your Elvis statues and the mural featuring the St Louis Arch, which is in Missouri on the Mississippi, of course, where I am from, and the 1930s, 40s and 50s nostalgia, and I wondered if you ever considered, or entertained the notion of having a little nostalgic live music, every now and then, perhaps even if only just once as an experiment. I just happen to play that old classic blues from that era, mostly, at least in this capacity, as Mr. Fletcher's One Man Blues Band. And I thought we might make a pretty good match up. As I said, at least, as an experiment. You can check me out at Facebook "Keith Fletcher, musician." Though most of that music is from my original music shows, and not my one man blues sets. I noticed you had a nice patio area where I could play outside and it might be a nice treat for your customers to have a bit of entertainment, just for a change of pace. They might really appreciate it since they obviously like your atmosphere. I don't play loud music. Unless folks want that, but I prefer to play soft. Or at least in situations like this. I've been the house band for BBQ joints and restaurants on several occasions. So I am familiar with the proper decorum. Mostly I was just looking for a little music adventure in CA within a walking distance of my Son's house, where I could carry a very tiny amp about the size of a cracker box, and my guitar to a gig. I thought maybe about just doing a street gig but saw your venue and something seemed to click. I hope you think so too. I estimate you are about a mile walking distance from his house and I only need an electrical plug. And probably some cool beverages. Like I said, I'm mostly in it for a small musical adventure, and so will play for tips, though, maybe you can pay me with free cold beverages, especially if it is hot, and maybe a sandwich or meal depending on how long I am there. It all looks delicious to me. If you find you'd like to host me again, and want me back, that might be possible over the week, and I may be back for the Christmas holiday. I might even be able to talk my Son into bringing the kids and family. Could be a total bust, or could be a very nice thing, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Who knows? If it worked out well enough for both of us, you might even want to do it again sometime, Maybe even offer some kind of fee next time, if there is a next time. Life is an adventure. You / we, might stumble onto something good. If you would like to give it a whirl, what day and time would you think is good to catch a crowd? “Parking at a nearby structure with first 3 hours free. Short walk, 5 min wait for a table and excellent options for food and beverage. The service was a little slow but it was a crowded Sat night over Memorial Day weekend. Would definitely enjoy a meal here again.“

“Why do these places not season their burgers? Salt... that's it. No one goes above and beyond. Effort is ZERO. Taste is ok. Its a burger that's not bad. It's ok food at a high price. I can do soooo much better with an ounce of effort. And I don't even use salt to do it. 15 extra seconds of time.“

“New owner and different menu but it’s back and open again. The new owner is sooooo sweet. The restaurant itself is less overwhelming, with fewer options and less clutter inside. We ordered the brave soup, and the stir fry noodles. The food was fresh hot and delicious. I do miss the old menu but I’m excited to have this spot back open 🫶🏾“

“A great place to go retro to the age of train travel. And, its aside the RR tracks from LA to Oceanside and San Diego. Restaurant and bar have outside seating along the tracks but you can sit inside and still see the trains pass by. Some stop as its also a train stop (Orange). Our lunch was great. Served so hot had to let our reuben and hamberger cool a bit. Large menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Full bar. \n\nGot time to kill. Cross the street to the free Hilbert Museum of pastels, watercolors, oil, and a collection of early portable radios too?“

“Order on Grub Hub and it was so delicious,hot and correct. I appreciate local businesses who deliver to the Candy Cane Inn off Harbor. We have been trying different ones and this Philly Chicken is so good and fresh. It arrived hot as well as my daughter had chicken tenders also hot,crispy and yummy. The onion rings were still warm and crunchy. The cheese sub so fabulous for us veggies heads!! Ty guys outstanding food its 🔥!“

I’ve been coming to Omega Drive-In longer than I’ve technically been alive. My mom had constant cravings for it while she was pregnant with me, so in a strange way this place has been part of my story since before day one.

Some of my best childhood memories involve the drive home with a warm paper box in my lap, sneaking fries while they were still too hot, and cooling them down with the car windows rolled all the way down. That smell of fresh fries instantly takes me back.

The double cheeseburgers are consistently fantastic – juicy, perfectly cooked to order, and exactly what a classic burger should be. No gimmicks, just great food done right.

On this visit, the young guy working the drive-thru deserves a shout-out. My 78-year-old dad gave him an order that was… let’s call it Starbucks-level complicated. The kid handled it with total patience, repeated the whole thing back perfectly, and stayed friendly the entire time. Service like that matters.

Omega Drive-In is one of the last true original spots left in Old Towne Orange. Places like this are part of the community’s history. Do yourself a favor: stop by, grab a burger and fries, and help keep this local gem around.

They have the right amount of fizz to taste they are absolutely great for a soft drink so if you don't mind fast food this Jack in the box is a place to go but if you really want a good fountain drink come to this Jack in the box you won't be disappointed I always go for the Coke 0 great drink over ice on a hot day.“
