Vegetarian options: My doctor knew about vibe and highly recommended because they have a good selection. It’s hard to make up your mind — especially if you’re hungry.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free banana bread. Absolutely delicious. I love feeling my brain is being fed after eating something deemed dessert.
Kid-friendliness: People who work here are aware. They like all their customers and strive to please them. Seating is available outdoors and comfy booths indoors. Come a little bit during off times if you don’t want to stand in line too long.“

“This was so good that I didn't even have time taking any picture! I only have a half eaten falafel sandwich!
The owner was such a nice person, very friendly, and welcoming. I originally was going to order for the kids and get myself something else from the food courts, but I tasted the falafel sampler, and was hooked. We are tourists visiting from Canada, of Lebanese origins! So as a Lebanese if I tell you the falafel are amazing, take my word for it. We also tried the chicken plate and sandwich, and the Blam (meat and lamb) sandwich, I can't highly recomend this place enough! I wish them all the success in the world. They deserve it for her kindness and the taste of the food. If I ever visit again, will definitely put Zood in my plans

“Anybody near hoag Newport needs to go here. We started with the combination plate and the samosas, marinated olives and baba ganoush were the standouts of the plate. The dolmas were served warm and were cooked very well. I really like my beef koobideh kebab as it was so juicy and tender it fell apart. The interesting one was the Iskender kebab. The sauce was very fresh. Excited to go back“

“There is a God!! I have been away for years working in North Dakota praying for a shrimp burrito. I was in Balboa over weekend and got my Shrimp fix. So darn good! The best shrimp soze and taste anywhere. They have not changed anything during this bad inflation. Miss the salsa bar but they gave us plenty. Most great places come and eventually go but GM is still.#1. Thank you Peter and staff!!.“

“The hostess at Mariposa was lovely! She actually read my reservation note that we were on a lunch hour and our service was courteous and prompt. We come here periodically due to relatively high prices, but are always pleased with the quality and quantity of lunch options. Lunch was delicious.“

A delicious variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner food options. Order ahead, easy pick up. Fast staff guarantee zero waiting time in line.Located on the street level on the corner directly across from Hoag Hospital Emergency entrance. Glass walls provide a clean open air feel and outdoor seating is reserved for this deli's dining guests. Safe, very clean and of course a quiet peaceful dining experience.

“I got the chicken bento box with green salad, potstickers, and salmon roll, and for 16$ it was amazing. Overall everything in the bento box tasted fresh, especially the sushi rolls! The bento box can definitely be enough food for 2 meal. Will be returning back, staff/owners are very nice.“

“This cafe is located tight near Hoag hospital, and is perfect for a quick bite if you are waiting at the hospital. They offer real food, far from your typical hospital cafeteria. To top it off the staff is SO friendly and the food is good to top it off.“

“I don't normally do Google reviews, but the staff member that helped us on Sunday, 9/1, over the Labor Day Weekend was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and helpful and it seemed like she was cooking, cleaning, taking orders and also had such a gracious attitude. I would come back to this location next time we are in town, just based on this amazing customer service.“
