“Great omakase experience, indulged in the various kind of sushi with fish fresh from Japan. The appetizer was like a vintage painting combined by surprising ingredients. “This is legit authentic Japanese food, even with the little potato salad in the salad and the dressing is actually not your fake Benihana sesame dress it even though I love that stuff. This is a very light fresh flavor. The tempura was unbelievably fresh. I wasn’t a huge fan of the flavor or the quality of the meat. Maybe I couldn’t tell the chicken teriyaki but it wasn’t bad. It just tasted like maybe the chicken was pre-cut or pre-prepared or something or maybe frozen before for a while but wasn’t horrible. It just wasn’t epic but honestly for the price and what it was and I’m taking so much home. I’m happy.“

“Came in on may 2nd at 7:pm and was met by such a nice and accommodating staff. They made great recommendations and we enjoyed all of them. Anyone visiting Newport must try! The freshest fish I’ve ever had! I’d have taken a picture of the food but I ate it as soon as I saw it 😂“

“This is a seafood restaurant where you can really feel the California vibe. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I ordered the clam chowder bread bowl, but it was way too much food for me as a Japanese person! 😂

“Went on a Sunday around 530pm. You order at the counter and pay first. Sushi and Ramen were very delicious! Limited bottled soda,juices and filtered water you get on your own. No AC but who cares you're in Newport. Overall great place to eat after the beach.“

“Great restaurant with a beautiful view of the water. Nice enough atmosphere for a nicer occasion or a casual evening out. We got the Rock N Roll, Stinky, and Firecracker. Fish tasted very fresh. All rolls were very delicious. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Service was very fast. We were able to sit outside on their patio which had views of the water and docked boats. We made a reservation on a holiday week night, but I don’t think it was necessarily needed as there were tables available throughout our meal, but better to be safe than sorry.

“Really enjoyed the seating area outside. N the service was great. Friendly and very attentive. The quality of the food was really good and so was the quantity. We had the salmon sashimi and the short ribs. Not disappointed. Spent a nice evening with the kids. And enjoyed the football game while there too. Reasonably priced and portions are wealthy.“
