“Great omakase experience, indulged in the various kind of sushi with fish fresh from Japan. The appetizer was like a vintage painting combined by surprising ingredients. The interaction with our chef was priceless and he was both professional and funny. Will come again for sure. Only downside was to look for parking nearby as they don't have parking provided.“

“This is legit authentic Japanese food, even with the little potato salad in the salad and the dressing is actually not your fake Benihana sesame dress it even though I love that stuff. This is a very light fresh flavor. The tempura was unbelievably fresh. I wasn’t a huge fan of the flavor or the quality of the meat. Maybe I couldn’t tell the chicken teriyaki but it wasn’t bad. It just tasted like maybe the chicken was pre-cut or pre-prepared or something or maybe frozen before for a while but wasn’t horrible. It just wasn’t epic but honestly for the price and what it was and I’m taking so much home. I’m happy.“

“Came in on may 2nd at 7:pm and was met by such a nice and accommodating staff. They made great recommendations and we enjoyed all of them. Anyone visiting Newport must try! The freshest fish I’ve ever had! I’d have taken a picture of the food but I ate it as soon as I saw it 😂“

“Went on a Sunday around 530pm. You order at the counter and pay first. Sushi and Ramen were very delicious! Limited bottled soda,juices and filtered water you get on your own. No AC but who cares you're in Newport. Overall great place to eat after the beach.“

“This place is solid. I had a hurricane roll...very good. Just the right amount of spice. My friend had the fish tacos...she likes them. My other 2 friends had the fish burrito and they said it was great. A little pricy here but the atmosphere is awesome and the food is really good!“

“We had Jake as our waiter, he was super sweet. Something we ordered came out a little late (it was a really busy night) and he over and beyond to accommodate (even though it wasn't necessary). I will definitely come back, not only because our food was great but because of the service we recieved from our waiter Jake :)“

“Absolutely incredible sushi spot. Its a pretty small place, only a handful of tables, but it was quiet when I was there on a sunday evening.
The staff was attentive and kind, and had good recommendations. The food was amazing, and one of the chefs even came out to ask if we had any questions when we looked like we needed help!
I will absolutely be back next time I'm in the area.“

“Never disappoints! Food is amazing! Always come here for special occasions and holidays. Every server and front desk are so nice and caring. They get the orders right even when it's so loud in there. Please is so clean and put together. Roberto is a great chef and Sheila was a nice server and did great job getting our food orders. Would definitely recommend coming! All locations are amazing but we like the Newport location.“
