“Top notch Sushi! I've been coming here since they opened and I'm in love with this place. First, Chef Masa is the nicest most friendly Chef there is, and all his staff are friendly and spot on with water refills and quick service. The fish he gets is some of the freshest and best quality out there. For cooked food Try the salmon collar. It's the melt in your mouth part of the salmons neck and cheek, and prepared expertly! Everything I've had, from the fresh oysters, the halibut carpaccio, the Takowasa, and Takoyaki, they spicy yellow tail lover roll and al the sashimi- has been perfect. Can't recommend enough !“

Had to go to Costa Mesa for a work conference and discovered this place (thanks to other reviews), and it did not disappoint from service to the food!!!We started with some nigiri pieces. The rice and the fish were prepared with care. The aburi salmon belly just melted in our mouths. A table next to us, who seemed to be loyal & frequent customers ordered 50 pieces! Then we proceeded to bento lunches (such great value) and ate until our hearts content. Great combos from teriyaki, udon, karage (perfectly fried juicy pieces of chicken) and donkatsu to sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi combos as well.Everyone from the chefs, service members and other customers were happy and laughing during our meals. This was a tough meal to beat since every other business lunch and dinner afterwards seemed to pale in comparison. Our friends went back before their flights instead of free lunches provided by the convention.Vegetarian options: There are salads, veggie rolls and non-meat noodle dishes, although ask about the broth if they use fish sauce or flakes.Parking: It is at the end of a open strip mall so plenty of parking usually.“

Ron does an amazing job catering to clientele and providing great hospitality. He is truly interested in making sure customers are happy and open to ideas for any improvements! Drinks were good and strong. We had the Japanese old fashioned and lychee martini. Best part was it was buy one get one free! My favorite food was the wagyu and blue crab hand roll. It was a cool concept, they did a "reverse" hand roll and I especially loved that part because the nori was nice and crispy. Very innovative! Can't wait to return and try more of the menu items. The staff was very kind and all of them said hello when we walked in, they also consistently refilled our waters which was perfect. Food was great, all the rolls were delicious and the portions were perfect for the money. We got 5 rolls for the 4 of us and a miso soup each and were perfectly satisfied by the nights end. One thing that I can appreciate a lot is they do not load their rolls with rice. A lot of restaurants in the area will add extra rice to make the rolls seem big instead of actually offering a good amount of fish. My favorite: Kiss of an Angel roll, Sashimi Roll, Eri roll.Service and the chefs are fantastic. “This is an authentic sushi restaurant. We have only eaten here for lunch and it is so good. Fresh fish, perfectly prepared with unique ingredients and offerings on the menu. They have sushi rolls, salads, main fish entrees, sushi bowls, etc. the crispy tuna rice is one of the best appetizers, comes with 3 but we order an add on so we can each have two. It comes with fried garlic slice on top of the spicy tuna. We start with miso soup and get the green iced tea, it’s so refreshing and they will give free refills.“
