“I'm surprised to see so many two star reviews. The service was great and our waitress was really sweet. The sushi itself was amazing. One of the best baked salmon rolls I've ever had. 3 rolls between two people that we couldn't even finish, we were so full... Which was disappointing only because I wanted to keep eating lol absolutely delicious and decently priced for the quality of the rolls.

“We got into Dana Point to our hotel and wanted to go eat. There were two choices there near the hotel, a Mexican restaurant and a sushi restaurant. We chose this sushi restaurant and did not regret our choice. They had a very diverse menu, which made me want to try a couple things on it. My wife had Chicken Teriyaki and I enjoyed three items. I started with an Uni shooter with aquails egg.egg, then had the 5 piece Nigiri. Both were spectacular. Then had the Katana roll by our server’s recommendation. The atmosphere of the servers and the food was well worth going to it in the price wasn’t too bad.“

“Great food! More like a "Sushi to go" restaurant. You order your food at the counter. There are only a couple of tables inside and out the restaurant and they will bring the food to your table if you are dining in. It is family owned and you often see Father, Mother, and Daughter working behind the counter. But every time I've eaten here, I've been very pleased with the food and service.“

“This must be a little hidden gem Japanese restaurant in Dana Point area. It looks like a small typical teriyaki shop but some of their dishes’ quality was surprisingly amazing!

Halapeno Hamachi appetizer sashimi was superb with a pinch of spice?? Fullmoon rolls doesn’t have any rice so it’s perfect for people who need to avoid too much carb and it’s delicious! Green dragon rolls, fire cracker rolls, and veggie rolls were served together on a long plate which looked beautiful and every one of them was yummy??

I’ve heard that their chicken teriyaki is absolutely the best, so I’ll try that next time. Will definitely return??????????

“Great view and okay selection of small plates. We went here on a weekday afternoon. Seating at Restaurant Raya was 39 minutes wait hence we decided to have a drink and small plate at 180Blu. There were not many people but still service was very slow. We ordered fries, taco and oysters.Oysters were fresh and good.The view is fantastic. Order s glass of wine or champagne and enjoy the view.
