So far my favorite sushi place in San Clemente. It is a little bit pricey, so I don't go as often as I would like to. Sometimes I go to another place occasionally to get my sushi fix when I don't want to spend so much. But Miyako is the best!
I mean c’mon, look at it. A platter of perfection. Every bite returning life to me after a grueling surfing session left me weak. Entire staff smiled and waved bye to us on the way out. 10/10
Amazing all around! Fantastic service, insanely positive and friendly staff, 10/10 food. Thank you for this experience. Refreshing to walk into a place that greets people so happily and acts like they actually want your business. We got 7 rolls and they were all perfect. We will definitely return.

Based on the reviews, Miyako Sushi is an amazing, chill, family friendly Japanese restaurant. The service is always great, with fantastic, insanely positive and friendly staff who provide genuine attentive service. The food is top notch, with incredibly fresh ingredients, including sashimi that literally melted in the mouth and fresh house made, delicious, made to order food. The Las Vegas roll was the best roll ever, and the eel sushi was even better than a high-end omakase dish. Every dish felt like fine dining, yet the lunch special was affordable. The restaurant has cool decor, a clean restroom, and great value. It is highly recommended as a new family sushi place with generous portions.
