Came here during my lunch break and I'm so glad I did! The service is efficient, and the sushi was so good! The lunch specials don't offer too much in terms of sushi options so I ended up ordering the sun kissed roll which was delicious! The restaurant is a little small but they have a good amount of tables and there was no wait time when we got there. Prices were a little high but the portion sizes make it worth it.Overall I recommend this place if you like sushi and I will definitely be coming back!

Food was amazing…on the other hand the service was terrible if you want to wait 1+hours for your dine in or even take out you have found the right place. And what happened to service with a smile.

I love Miyako! Best Japanese restaurant I know I recommend it to all my family and friends. Jay makes the best b&j ceviche and they have the best hot tea! I had to ask for a 3rd order of the ceviche even though I was full just because it tasted so good. There sushi is to die for and the fish is so fresh. You don't want to miss out on this diamond of a restaurant.

Tried a bunch of local sushi spots, this one has been the best tasting so far. We only ate the sushi, but the bowls looked amazing that others ordered and they confirmed as well. Owner was super nice and grateful and checked on us often. Will be going back. This is not a fake review lol as some like to accuse on here

Most of the 5 ratings fake here. I've met and experienced arrogant and rude workers at restaurants, especially in NYC, but never met this kind of rude person before. The supervisor was trying to teach me how to use ApplyPay. He asked to come around the corner, which I did as politeness whereas I was expecting them to help with the payment while I was siting on my table. He was constantly "forcing me" to scan while I was waiting him to shut up so I can talk and ask if he can add a tip for the hard working lady. Once done, he was saying to exit. Who the heck you think you can tell what to do to me? It was a worst day! I recommend NOT to go here.

The owner/manager lady who runs the show is extremely rude and insensitive.Waiting time at times are more than 45 minutes and when you order to go it will get prepared incorrectly. For example we ordered the soup and few sushi rolls and when we got home we noticed the soup had no juice, just the vegetables in the bottom.I returned the next day and got a refund and when explained the situations to the lady manager she just laughed and made me very angry how insensitivity she managed the situation. The food in general was not too bad and it’s sad in a way we will not be giving our business to them in the future. They did not seem to appreciate it especially when they get a little busy.

I am new to the area and discovered this restaurant. I was surprised to see how busy it is at times, but was thinking ... good for them. Food is decent ... balance of flavors but not great. The original draw was the casualness and location for ease of ordering to go. I ate there once (very crowded/tables too close/not the best ambiance). A few more times I got the food to go. Each time I went, I observed the owner/manager and she is so stern and rigid. The staff seem to fear her. As such, the vibe did not appeal to me. Well, I tried one more time which will be my last. Very busy Friday night has my vegetable soup (Miyako Udon) and two easy/simple rolls took 45 full minutes to process. By the way, no customer service or appreciation of giving them business. More like the attitude that I should be lucky they are willing to take my order. Upon arriving home, the soup was suspiciously/oddly half full (practically no juice). We take a picture of the soup and return the next day with our receipt and picture ... the lady owner/manager literally laughs at the sight of the picture! My husband says, you think that is funny? Well, hearing his tone, she got into more of a sorry mode but too late ... she showed herself (time and time again a little bit every visit). We will not be doing business there again. If she continues to be the vibe maker and run the restaurant in the manner I have been observing and quality/care of customers order prevails like our food lacked, I think business will dwindle.

Miyako never disappoints. Cozy little place but great for take-out too. Fish is always very fresh and Ashley roll and Oh My Hamachi ceviche are my favorites. Make Reservations or you will wait awhile. Same with take-out, plan 45 minutes or longer. Like all restaurants, it is expensive (two for take out, no alcohol about $95). MENU ATTACHED
