It was my gran's first outing since the funeral and i was worried but our server was this adorable silver haired woman named Rebecca. She had my Gran laughing the whole time. We ordered combos and the suggested jalapeño watermelon margaritas, which were spicy and refreshing. We needed a nap afterwards because we were too stuffed! My gran won't stop asking when we can go back. Thank you South of Nicks for lovely meal, and Thank you Rebecca, for helping a family member feel normal after tragedy. You are in our prayers”

First: you can either park along el Camino or parking is along Avenida De La Estrella located right above restaurant. There is a stairwell that brings you right down to it.

Be sure to go on Tuesday… taco Tuesday… where they have a phenomenal/affordable menu! Honestly the best shrimp taco I have ever had. I’m just sorry I filled up on chips.

They are only opened for lunch on the weekend.

The best part… PET FRIENDLY PATIO!!!!

The tables are closely spaced, so if the table in the back was in use, it was difficult to sit because it was so narrow that you couldn't pull a chair. I think it would be nice to have a little more space. There was a heater outside at night so it was warm, but it was still hot even with short sleeves.”

“Called the restaurant directly to make a reservation for 6. My call was answered by a very friendly staff member. When we visited the night of our reservation, everything was great. The hostess was very nice and seated us right away. We were greeted by our server, Nate. He took great care of our table the entire evening. The drink, food, and band were all fabulous. Jambalaya is my favorite. All in all, it's was a fantastic night out. Can't wait for our next visit to Iva Lee's.The only negative was that we didn't get the heart-shaped corn bread that we love so much.”

“What a lovely and surprising find in San Clemente. The entry to this alluring restaurant and bar is unassuming, but once inside, the detail and intentionality of the art deco inspired space is intimate and transportive.

We were greeted by a delightful young man whose tone and demeanor accented the elevated and classy ambiance. Our bartender/server was also a delight and made sure to take care of our every need.

Cocktails were fantastic and handcrafted with care. I had the ‘Penicillin’- not too sweet or overpowering with subtle notes of ginger and lemon. We paired it with the smash burger for $24. The goat cheese on the burger took it to the next level of decadent and savory. We also enjoyed the coconut shrimp with green curry sauce which was an ample portion and cooked well.

The menu at Jane is small, but we will certainly be back to try their other offerings.”

“Best high end Mexican Gastronomy restaurant that I’ve been to in OC. The food quality, service, and atmosphere were superior. Gema offered a nice selection of Baja white wines and tequila selections. I thought what we had was amazing and complimented the food nicely.

First course we had the shrimp, second was ceviche, and main dish was the sea bass. Overall a great restaurant. A must try if you’re in San Clemente.

“As a hospitality and tourism instructor the customer service was an embarrassment to say the least... Kaya appeared to be anything but welcoming. She told us to pick a table with 'two chairs only'. We selected one away from an open window since the weather was slightly cool for us being travelers. We asked if she could turn the ceiling fan directly above us off. She replied with a hard sigh, "I can turn it down, but I can't turn it off." She walked behind the counter and stated out loud to her coworker, "I get so annoyed when people ask me to turn off the fan". We just walked out to not annoy her further.”

This ice cream is good for what it is. I feel like the flavors I tried were really overwhelmed by the flavor of coconut, and honestly could benefit from some salt to round the flavors out, just from a culinary perspective.

The shop was very cute and clean, but the staff seemed to have limited knowledge about the flavors and struggled to tell me about the flavors I asked about (ex. She had no idea what was in the tropical blend…and a lot of I don’t knows, which was too bad since this was my first time here! Not really ideal, given this place seems to focus on allergens and dietary restrictions. Not the end of the world though haha

I’d give it another try if I were down in the area! It’s nice to have this option and not be worried about gluten cross contamination :)”

He co-founded it with my friend Mark that I ran into organically. Lots of coffee places come and go in towns, but this coffee establishment is a staple in this community... Locals know and love it as their "go to" place. Come see for yourself why!!;”

I wish there were more than 1 Italian red wine available. I enjoyed a nice glass of Californian Pinot Noir.

She had the waffles and we came back for more. The original owner Pete Katsimientas (sp) woud be proud. They even keep his Pete's Burger the quality of which dropped off with the previous owner. I will try the Pete's Burger again next trip there.”

“I have to rate The Mediterranean Rim on Del Mar 5Stars. Their food is Always consistent, and always consistently delicious. Such a cute and cozy place.
