“Fast friendly service! Absolutely delicious breakfast! The French toast, poached eggs, fresh house made salsa, steak and eggs... etc... everything I have dined on is A+/5-star. Quaint outdoor seating in a comfortable and welcoming environment! Highly recommend and always dine at Antoine's Cafe durning my stay(s) in San Clemente!“
“Came to SC Cafe while visiting San Clemente the past weekend. It was a rainy Saturday morning but there was luckily only a 10-15 minute wait for so. The cafe is small and busy, but has a great friendly vibe. All the workers seemed to know everyone which was a good sign. One even stopped taking our order to say bye to someone lol For food I got the Gringos Burritos--hash brown egg and cheese burritos covered in ranchero sauce and more cheese. So good! Very different. I'm not big on ranchero sauce but finished it regardless. Everything else my table got looked good. Most items have a south-of-the-border touch which always makes for a good combination. Def recommend if you're in town!“
“Great place for someone vegan and gluten intolerant. I had an açaí bowl regular size and it was very generous, full of fresh fruit and gluten free granola which made it sweeter. The açaí itself was pretty sweet on its own so I would probably not take the granola next time. The açaí was the correct consistency. Not completely frozen like some places serve it but very cold like a thick smoothie which is how it should be served.Service was great, nice chilled vibe and you can tell it’s not a huge chain but a local business which makes me want to come back and try some of their other bowls, coffees and bakes.“
“This cafe was absolutely incredible. The food was so good. All fresh and clearly made from scratch with love. I have traveled far and wide and that stuffed French toast and omelet could not be better. My omelet: bacon inside was crispy, the cheese melty, the onions even carmalized! The potatoes were cooked perfectly and had a great herby flavor! I can’t even start with the stuffed French toast. The mascarpone in there was second to none. Omg it was so good. It had some coasting for perfect crunch. Unreal. I was going to ask my boyfriend how his breakfast sandwich was but it was already gone. Our server, Ron, was a delight! Just incredible.Vegetarian options: They have a whole vegetarian/vegan section on the menu!“
“Love this place! Super casual and friendly service. I always get the SC rice bowl it's sweet with green apples, fig, proscuitto and fresh basil. Huge serving and is definitely a two-meal kinda order. I start craving it at least once a month. The yogurt is definitely on the pricey side but so so good. Definitely a go-to spot for girl's lunches and moms with kids-gets busy in the summer.“
“Man this place is always packed. They pump out food like crazy! We do a lot of online ordering here and the food is always great but sometimes we get jipped on extra sauces we order! Could say it’s my fault for not checking but it’s so fricken packed a lot of times I just want to duck my head and get outta there!“
“A locals place near the beach...All I can say is Yummmmm.....The staff was friendly and knowledgeable...The food was so good, if you are in the area, GO! after breakfast we walked on the beach! Then back to our road trip..What a wonderful stop!“
“This is the perfect place to stop when driving north from San Diego. We've had a few road trips recently where we leave home early and need breakfast, hot drinks, and bathrooms around San Clemente. We were able to order for people with dairy, citrus, nut, and soy intolerances. My daughter was super excited to actually be able to order a safe muffin. They also had gluten free options.Kid-friendliness: Son loved the huge zebra ? in the bathroom. Nice seating that worked for our family.“
“I've been going to the sunrise Cafe for years admittedly mainly to just get their bacon and egg breakfast. The food has always been good. The stuff has always been kind and accommodating regardless of what stage of my life I've been in. They have free Wi-Fi and are one of the only breakfast places in town that you can get a normal American breakfast.Prices are a little high. But I've never felt cheated because of the quality of their service and food.“
“Stopped in here today for coffee and a snack after doing some indoor rock climbing. It was close to the end of the day and the staff were tired but still so kind and helpful. Very quick service. I ordered a latte and a California avocado toast; my friend ordered a latte with the veggie sandwich. Both meals were delicious and the multigrain bread was amazing. I love the booths and wooden tables inside the shop and the cozy decor. There is also a large patio out front to enjoy on warmer days. I will definitely be back - quality of the food was just what we were looking for.“
“1st time here was today. I noticed it yesterday when I shopped at Stater Bros. Looked interesting so today I got the 2nd best drink ever, an iced vanilla latte which was perfect! I didn't need to add any flavor or sugar like I do at other places. I had met an employee outside before entering and she game me the suggestion for the drink which I really appreciated. Staff was very friendly and hospitable. Music was a little loud and apparently couldn't be turned down but that was the only negative. I'll be back in the future. Thanks!“
“Oops, so hungry that we started eating before I remembered to take photos. The latte was smooth and creamy, leaving just a little bite of espresso on the tongue. He really liked his steak burrito, too many competing ingredients for me. My beet salad had plenty of beets, walnuts, avocado, and chicken breast. Could have used more greens and more blue cheese. Fresh healthy salad but $18 is a bit pricey. The bill total was $45 for the 3 items. The place is attractive and has outdoor seating too. The service was efficient and pleasant. I would stop in there again.“
“We stopped by Chaupain for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised with the menu selection. We ordered the quiche and croque madame. On of my typical gripes about quiche is it's never consistently baked. Either too dry or soggy. The quiche at Chaupain was anything but that. Nice and firm, but not overly cooked, the quiche was amazing! It paired beautifully with the tomato soup. So much flavor and we enjoyed every bite!“
