“Came for lunch with my gran about a month after my grandfather passed. It was my gran's first outing since the funeral and i was worried but our server was this adorable silver haired woman named Rebecca. She had my Gran laughing the whole time. We ordered combos and the suggested jalapeño watermelon margaritas, which were spicy and refreshing. We needed a nap afterwards because we were too stuffed! My gran won't stop asking when we can go back. Thank you South of Nicks for lovely meal, and Thank you Rebecca, for helping a family member feel normal after tragedy. You are in our prayers“

“Moulin in San Clemente is this adorable French bistro that's totally transporting. The vibe's cozy and it feels like a mini getaway. We sat outside and it was perfect, beautiful sunny day and the outdoor seating is gorgeous. I went for the omelette special with mushrooms and French ham and it hit the spot, eggs were perfect and the flavors were great. My wife loved the Croque Monsieur sandwich. Customer service was outstanding, the staff were super friendly and on point. Oh, and the fresh squeezed orange juice was amazing! They've also got this cute little market thing going on which was a nice touch. If you're in San Clemente, Moulin is a solid pick for a chill French meal. We'll be back.“

“Finally got to try one of their famous cakes. Delicious!!!! Had an online order and we were instantly greeted by a very nice young man working there, our cake was ready and we were good to go within a minute. I love the small business vibe they have and the enthusiasm from the employees. Will be back!“

“I just picked up my curbside groceries. The lettuce and spinach was fresh and beautiful. My peppers, tomatoes etc looked fresher than the market. I bought flour and yeast which is so difficult to find and eggs and milk. I will definitely order again. I would very highly recommend them. Thank you for providing this service!“

“Wanted to give a shout out to Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt in San Clemente by Walmart. I went in to grab gift cards. I needed 5 $5 cards for party favors for my daughter's birthday. They were out of gift cards. The gentleman working there must have been the owner. He asked how many I needed. I said 5. He said today is your lucky day, opened his wallet and GAVE ME 5 gift cards for $5 each FOR FREE! Seriously, who does that?! I wish I had gotten his name. Wow Wow Wow. I will forever be grateful and def make sure we go there for yogurt. Thank you Menchie's!“

“We had a wonderful celebratory birthday dinner last night. The meal was outstanding and our server was the perfect balance of attentiveness and good humor. I had one of the evening's specials: grilled sea bass in beurre blanc—crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. It was accompanied by perfectly prepared brocollini and potatoes. I couldn't resist the taramisu—always my favorite end to the meal. It was a delight!“

Enjoyed a few items off the Happy Hour Menu. $34 before tax for the Pear & Brie Skillet melt, seasoned olives, and a slice of Key Lime pie. I would pass on the skillet melt next time, did absolutely love the toasted focaccia it came with. Next time I would try the Spinach Artichoke Dip. I sat solo at the bar, several average size groups were at the other end of the bar area.“

“I feel that Moulin in Laguna Beach is a bit better than this location, but I still had a good experience here. One thing that has always disappointed me about Moulin is the size of their lattes—they're just too small. I wish they offered larger latte options on the menu. Other than that, everything was good, and I would probably come back more often if they served bigger lattes.“

And I came across this place! Butter+Cream bakery was very helpful in making my wife's cake dream come true! I also spoke with the owner and they were kind enough to create a 'special request' that I made. “So glad we went back here. It's been awhile. The ambiance was very nice. Food and beverage were outstanding. The $8.99 Lemon Drop Martini such a deal. Lots of good options. I had the pad Thai with shrimp added. Husband had hot and sour soup and a sushi roll. Both were excellent. Serving size of my dish large enough to have as leftovers. Service was attentive and both drinks and food came out fast. We'll be back soon to try their prix fix menu!“
