“We stopped by Chaupain for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised with the menu selection. We ordered the quiche and croque madame. On of my typical gripes about quiche is it's never consistently baked. Either too dry or soggy. The quiche at Chaupain was anything but that. Nice and firm, but not overly cooked, the quiche was amazing! It paired beautifully with the tomato soup. So much flavor and we enjoyed every bite!“

We also ordered a breakfast burrito that was so good, we both agreed set the bar on what a breakfast burrito should be like! We left buying some of their IPAs to go, which didn't last long! “I didn't know i could LOVE indian food until i visited Kiaan's. Oh my good gravy..... So tasty!!! I do not do spicy AT ALL so appealing to my taste buds can be challenging. Amrit couldn't have been more accommodating and assured me i would be happy. He was right. The chicken curry was my favorite. It was so creamy and smooth and delicious. The naan was perhaps the best i have had...loaded with butter and garlic flavors. The service could not be more excellent; the perfect mix of friendly and prompt and so comfortable. I know the restaurant is owner/ family operated and the attention to detail and care shows. Fine dining complete with white tablecloths and napkins. So very elegant and yet pricing was so reasonable!!I know they are now open 7 days a week and i cannot wait to come back with my husband! Such a wonderful addition to Talega in San Clemente. “Went to Blooms Irish pub for the first time this past Saturday. We made plans to meet about 30 family and friends here. Owner Jeff and his wife Sindy were amazing to work with, the food was amazing, service great, atmosphere was fun with good music and pool tables. It was good drinks and lots of laughs. If I lived nearby I'd be a local at this pub.We had the corned beef dinner and fish and chips both were very good.We came back Sunday morning for breakfast; theHuevos rancheros and breakfast buttitos were so good.Great location near the beach in San Clemente.If in the area I would highly recommend checking out this fun pub.“

The shop is small and cozy and they have a few tables outside where you can sit next to the Dr. Who robots and Tardis. Service is superb. The hosts are friendly and full of smiles. We were both surprised at the freshness and quality of our bowls. We ordered:1. Campground-1/2 pitaya, 1/2 acai with granola, banana, strawberries and blueberries. Super flavorful. Smooth. Tasty.2. Moonbeam (my eldest ordered this) which was strictly Acai.I have to say that the cost was the average for the bowls but worth every penny. “Great place for someone vegan and gluten intolerant. I had an açaí bowl regular size and it was very generous, full of fresh fruit and gluten free granola which made it sweeter.The açaí itself was pretty sweet on its own so I would probably not take the granola next time. The açaí was the correct consistency. Not completely frozen like some places serve it but very cold like a thick smoothie which is how it should be served.Service was great, nice chilled vibe and you can tell it’s not a huge chain but a local business which makes me want to come back and try some of their other bowls, coffees and bakes.“
“Came to SC Cafe while visiting San Clemente the past weekend. It was a rainy Saturday morning but there was luckily only a 10-15 minute wait for so. The cafe is small and busy, but has a great friendly vibe. All the workers seemed to know everyone which was a good sign. One even stopped taking our order to say bye to someone lol For food I got the Gringos Burritos--hash brown egg and cheese burritos covered in ranchero sauce and more cheese. So good! Very different. I'm not big on ranchero sauce but finished it regardless. Everything else my table got looked good. Most items have a south-of-the-border touch which always makes for a good combination. Def recommend if you're in town!“
“We were here a few days ago and were ignored and left, gave it another shot tonight because we really like the place. Tristan did an awesome job taking care of us. Thanks Tristan.I used to go here pretty often but I've moved away. This weekend we were in town for a few days and I stopped in for lunch. It was horrible. As a bar owner I understand the business and whoever is managing the place is in way over their head and failing miserably. The food was prepared terribly. I ordered a really simple thing. A teriyaki chicken bowl. The chicken was apremade US Foods product that they recook to the point of overcooked. It was so overcooked I would consider it a cremation. The dish also gave away a terrible secret. The kitchen is in poor shape. There were a few macaroni pieces in the bowl. The server was really trying but I kept hearing him having to apologize to just about every table he was helping. He had to apologize to me because I ordered a beer on the menu and after not getting it for 10 minutes he came back to tell me they were out of my selection. No big deal, I picked something else. That beer was delivered 20 minutes later with my food. He apologized that the order didn't go in because the printer was out of paper. Like I said, this is a management issue. Whoever is managing doesn't have processes in place. Closers should be checking that printer and openers should verify. My guess is the kitchen staff doesn't have processes in place for organization and cleaning either. And if you want to have a nice restaurant, you have to start with good ingredients, not cheap trash sold premade. Honestly I have had better food handed to me through my car window.“
“FIG continues to be one of the best restaurants in Orange County. High quality, interesting food choices. Carnivores and diabetics can be very happy with a wide-ranging menu offering many options. An extremely good Caesar Salad that an only be improved with the addition of anchovies (didn't get the memo?) Fish options are uniformly good. One recommendation would be to order each stage of the meal separately (i.e., finish the salad before you order the main course, etc.) You will enjoy it more, and it avoids the sometimes problem of main dishes arriving cold.“

I had two cashier contacts and the guy who gave me my food. All were super warm and courteous. The team and management need to be commended. This is how restaurants should run. “I came to SC for a family visit and they offered we go to Jadore. We were a few adults, 2 kids and a baby.As a vegan and gluten intolerant person it felt like there weren’t many options on the menu as everything has bread, cheese or meat on it.I ordered the coconut and squash soup and it tasted like Gerber baby puree. The person there which I think it one of the owners quickly replaced it with the açaí bowl which was ok and also gave us a free muffin. I really did feel like he was trying his best.Also I wouldn’t recommend this for families with younger kids as there wasn’t anything for the kids that was nutritious apart from crepes with chocolate which weren’t what I wanted my 8 and 2 year old to eat for lunch.Overall everyone said the food was ok but not great. Portion sizes were small and it was expensive.The great part was the garden in the back and the French music in the background. “Before my burger and fries arrived, I received my chocolate malt which was sooo scrumptious! When my food came out, I first dug into the fries and told my friend, "So these fries are some of the best fries I've had, good start." The burger may have been the best burger I've ever had. I ordered a bacon-bleu burger and the Bleu cheese is definitely worth noting. It wasn't just crumbles, or dressing, but a kind of spread that was so incredibly flavorful! It was so overwhelming, I couldn't finish. The burger was juicy, made just right at medium, the bun is exactly what you want in a burger bun. They offer grilled onions, which I opted in for. The lettuce and pickles were potentially the highest quality I have come across on a burger. That goes for probably every ingredient on the burger. I have known about this place since it opened and am extremely disappointed in myself for never making an effort to stop by!I also want to address the ratings wherein people complain about the price. Show me a place with a comparable burger for the same price or less! You can't do it. The burgers here are a true experience, and worth every bit of the cost!Vegetarian options: They have a portobello mushroom burger option that I noticed.“
“Excellent coffee shop located right across the beach! I stayed in San Clem for about a week and went here every morning. I had the drip coffee and different muffins each morning. The coffee was always fresh with great flavor and the muffins super yummy. The shop is nice with both indoor and outdoor seating. Prices were fair considering the area and what I got.“

“This place is in an amazing location. It's right on the beach in San Clemente. But BEWARE of the parking police. You have to pay a meter on an app. It was very confusing to figure this out. In fact, both my friend and I got a parking ticket that day (along with probably 10 others.) Besides this, it's a great cafe serving Panther coffee (roastery from Florida which I have been to)...they also have acai bowls, breakfast sandwiches, toasts, juices, and many other treats and foods. My friend and I had a lovely breakfast with a stunning beach view (park, walk down the hill, plant yourself on the beach, enjoy!Do be aware that you are paying for the lovely views. I think it cost close to $18 for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. But, I get it. It's a great little spot!“

“Had an AMAZING experience at the Left Coast Brewing Company. It's a small but well-run establishment with a ton of great options on tap. It attracts a really chill crowd: there was literally a patron with her newborn. Very family friendly, warm, and positive. I went here for trivia night, and we had a total blast. There's no food at the brewery since it's a smaller space and it's really not in a location built for heavy duty kitchen work, but they were totally cool with us bringing food in and even gave us recommendations for local spots! I'm not even a beer drinker but I enjoyed trying their different offerings and was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked them!They even have a little mini arcade setup and cards against humanity. They put a ton of thought into curating a space for community and good old fashioned fun. Restrooms were SO clean and there were a men's and women's room which feels so rare at bars! The women's room even had multiple stalls, which was so convenient. Pitchers of water were free (and quite frankly, the water was delicious), and there was fun, clean music playing. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun place for all ages to enjoy. It's hard to find a place that's welcoming to non-drinkers and younger people, while also still offering plenty of alcoholic options. So many establishments strive to create the third place, and Left Coast Brewing Company hits it on the head.“
“Delahunt Brewing Steve and I recently got to try and we both enjoyed the beer that we shared. The name of the beer was Elotes Libre which was an IPA. Better than some IPA's I have had of late this refreshing beer has flavor features of hoppy, tropical, fruity and sweet. But it's not too sweet. I don't like my beers to taste like Kool-Aid or soda and that isn't usually a problem with IPA's but more with sours. But still, much appreciated that it wasn't too sweet. This IPA is fairly strong too which I don't mind as I like beer with a punch after a hard day.“
“The food here is amazing! But let me tell you about the staff, they are incredible! So this past weekend, I was eloping in San Clemente at the beach. I had been planning it for 6 weeks with another restaurant in town. When I went to finalize everything the DAY before my elopement the other restaurant ended up canceling on us. I called around and Cassano's did not even hesitate to take my party of 28 and let us have their entire patio! The day came, Saturday 9/30/23 and we were suppose to elope at the beach but it was raining, so I called Cassano's and they let us have our little ceremony on their patio! They helped us set it up, they helped organize everything with my step mom and aunts and honestly it was the cutest little wedding I could have ever imagined!The owner was hands on, so sweet and so accommodating! Shout out to Heidi our main go to person who streamlined everything! Shout out to Joe who took my endless calls and reassured me it would be amazing and he was right! “Came here for a group lunch (4 adults and 3 kids) and had a wonderful meal! We started with salads and also their Fennel Caprese appetizer. The salads were super fresh, quality veggies and perfectly seasoned. The Fennel caprese was a delicious and refreshing starter, slices of sweet juicy orange on crisp fennel and with a creamy slice of mozzarella, and topped with pops of pomegranate seeds- flavors fondly reminded us of our travels to Sicilia. Then we had the short rib ravioli- a must-try! Tender chunks of short rib fill each ravioli, and topped with plentiful mushrooms, earthy and rich- decadent for sure (and well balanced with the salads). Our friends had the Amatriciana bucatini which was another winner- rich tomato sauce with satisfyingly salty guanciale and a hint of spice. We had their house white wine (Pinot Grigio) that went perfectly with our meal. Great friendly service - and appreciated that they let us blab away and didn't rush us for the bill (another lovely reminder of Italia). Highly recommend and looking forward to returning next time we're in town!“
