The Sunrise Cafe is a quiet, old school diner located on a busy street corner with parking in a back lot. It is a mom and pop shop with a friendly, inviting atmosphere and quick, attentive, and accommodating table service. The menu offers nice choices of American diner fare with limited Mexican and Asian inspired dishes, providing good deals. The food is delicious with good sized portions. Specific highlights include the super good potato fries, the Ortega Hwy omelette, vegetable omelets, hash browns, home fries, biscuits and gravy, and chorizo. The coffee cup doesn't run dry. It is a low stress, perfect diner that comes highly recommended, with customers certain to return again and again.
