The Croissant French Toast is to die for. Not too sweet: the custard is made with real vanilla bean and topped with a delicious berry compote. Fresh-whipped cream on side.The staff is awesome, and the prices reasonable. Warm atmosphere too.
Great little cafe off the main strip in San Clemente. Breakfast & lunch only, serving coffee, cocktails, and beer, too! We went two days in a row, and loved the soups, chicken fried steak, & Avocado Tartine, and the club sandwich & Cobb salad on our second visit. Friendly, attentive service (Kali is wonderful), don't miss out!

Antoine's is a classic old school diner. They have a good upbeat menu. The food is always fresh and portions are plenty. The atmosphere has a chill local vibe. It does get crowded so if you're going to eat breakfast try to get there as early as possible. They open at 6:30 am or 7 am. Weekends are jampacked. Summer time gets a bit hectic.
