Came in here on our wedding anniversary trip. My husband was a Marine so he wanted to show me around his favorite spots. And I can totally see why! Goody's was such a fun bar on a Tuesday night. We had the BEST, SWEETEST, and most attentive bartender, Holly. It was truly a delight getting to meet her and the other patrons that night. Definitely added to our special trip and we'll be making more trips back to Goody's :)

Gentleman bartender is cold and has no charm, with no reflection of any hospitality at all.

Goody's Tavern is a welcoming and lively spot, perfect for a night out with friends. The staff, including bartenders Heather and others, are friendly, accommodating, and attentive, making everyone feel at home. The tavern has a great ambiance with lots of neon signs and TVs to watch sports, and it's kept clean, with a mix of regulars and newcomers creating a lively atmosphere. The karaoke nights are a hit, with Ivan the KJ keeping the energy high and making an effort to be personal with performers. Meals are not a major focus, but the tavern is happy to accommodate special requests, such as snacks for regulars. The manager Erika is BEYOND helpful for events, from logistics to decor. Visitors and locals alike enjoy the free pool, great drink deals, and the chance to bring their pup along. Any time people are in San Clemente, they will definitely stop back in for a couple drinks. Overall, Goody's Tavern is a highly recommended spot for a fun and relaxed night out in San Clemente.
