“I was at a conference Last month and a I mentioned that I was gonna be going to Southern California for a couple weeks. They told me that if I can get to San Juan Capistrano that I need to stop into the Five Vines Wine Bar and try their 20-year-old pork. They were not exaggerating. Unbelievably good. I also had a burger and garlic fries and if you ask for it, they’ll give you pineapple teriyaki sauce for the burger. 👍👍“

“Great spot for tasty Italian. I have a very high bar - set by my Sicilian mother. Nary a place I've been to in CA has moved me. Giana's may have changed that. Ordered the shirt rib. The meat was more cooked than my liking, but it completely over delivered: the meat was excellent in taste and flavor, the pasta silky and beautifully cooked (I'm not an al dente loser), and the sauce was superlative. The portion was large and the price very reasonable. Drink pour could be bigger, but small glasses seems to be their shtick.
But, overall, an excellent experience. Will return.“

“We stumbled across Peony Chinese Kitchen and are so glad we did- it was by far our favorite restaurant in Laguna Beach! We enjoyed our meal on the patio and had a great view of the beach. The food was excellent! Fresh ingredients, cooked well and they even accommodated a special request. The family style shrimp wonton soup was superb! Highly recommend!“

We especially liked the sea bass, the scallops, the citrus garden salad and the vegan version of the bolognese for our vegan guest. It was delicious! The service was incredible. “Came for lunch with my gran about a month after my grandfather passed. It was my gran's first outing since the funeral and i was worried but our server was this adorable silver haired woman named Rebecca. She had my Gran laughing the whole time. We ordered combos and the suggested jalapeño watermelon margaritas, which were spicy and refreshing. We needed a nap afterwards because we were too stuffed! My favorite items on the menu are Almond Croissant, Cream Broiler and Almond Cake plus all the rest of the pastry they make. “Moulin in San Clemente is this adorable French bistro that's totally transporting. The vibe's cozy and it feels like a mini getaway. We sat outside and it was perfect, beautiful sunny day and the outdoor seating is gorgeous. I went for the omelette special with mushrooms and French ham and it hit the spot, eggs were perfect and the flavors were great. My wife loved the Croque Monsieur sandwich. Customer service was outstanding, the staff were super friendly and on point. Oh, and the fresh squeezed orange juice was amazing! They've also got this cute little market thing going on which was a nice touch. If you're in San Clemente, Moulin is a solid pick for a chill French meal. We'll be back.“

She also stopped cleaning right away to service us with a smile. She was friendly & patient and said we would be able to get another coupon like the one we used for my birthday if we complete a survey. She went out of her way to make sure that the cocktails we ordered were prepared perfectly by speaking directly to the bartender. When we asked about dinner specials we had in the past she found us those special menus and also reminded us that we could get a bottle of wine for half price on Wednesdays.. She checked with us frequently to make sure everything was perfect. She is truly an asset to the restaurant and we will always try to request her when we come back.“

“Cool bread shop, run out of a large scale bakery. Words cannot describe how great the bread is here. They sell out quick, but you can place orders ahead of time if you want something specific. But it's kinda fun to just show up and choose from what's there. I've had the sourdough, multi-grain, and baguettes which are the bomb! They do muffins and pastries as well, but I haven't had the pleasure yet. So awesome there is a local place like this to get amazing bread, right at the source! I highly recommend you do not sleep on this spot!“

I definitely recommend this spot with grass fed and finished beef and they really are bringing back the great American burger.
