It made a great first impression: a generous plate piled with basil, bell peppers, onions, and golden pieces of fish, with a deep red sauce underneath. I liked how colorful it looked when it arrived at the table, and there was plenty on the plate to explore beyond just the main ingredient.

The basil on top was especially eye-catching, and the sauce made me wish I had a side of rice ready to go with it. It’s the kind of dish that makes you pause for a photo before taking the first bite. Mongkut Thai has a large menu, but if you’re deciding what to order and enjoy fish, vegetables, and Thai basil, this is one I’d consider.“

“The service at Thai This is beyond compare, every employee there is friendly, helpful, and helps to create a great experience whether eating in to-go. We walked in to order to-go food and they seated us and brought us bottled water, again, service beyond compare. Now to the food, the Crispy Noodles (#1) are to die for...makes a great dessert. The Nutty Noodles chicken (#54) were great, and the Kiss Me Not garlic pork was so flavorful. They also included some tempura vegetables which were super yummy. “I can’t say enough good things about Thai Dara Dana Point!

This is our go to spot and the food is consistently excellent and the service is amazing. Fern and Eke are the best and will make you feel so welcome and taken care of. It’s the most charming atmosphere and we’ve never had anything other than a great experience here and we’ve been going for years. Highly recommend the Tom Kha Soup, pad Thai, and crying tiger. Oh and ginger tea.

I have eaten lunch and dinner. I ordered the Crying Tiger and I ordered a very large soup to take home which is why the bill was over $25.00.“
