“This place is hands down AWESOME!The sushi is so delicious, we had the Bangkok, Salmon Lemon, Dragon, Kitajima, Philladelfia and the Alaska roll, all ingredients tasted so fresh. My hubby I are oversized and was very surprised that their sitting was very accommodating for peeps our size and very comfortable. The atmosphere is very chill with dim lighting and quite and the staff are very polite and attentive. We will definitely be coming back to this awesome place.“

“Pretty good food. I got the beef pad Thai. I got spice level 5. Very peppery. The wait staff is friendly. Turn around is fast even though they get a lot of online orders. The restaurant is small inside and a little rundown. The walls need redone. And the front door doesn’t swing open or closed easily“
“This place is awesome if you have a hankering for Thai food in the Pasadena area. The place is small with outside seating but the food is incredibly delicious and most of all the prices are very reasonable....The service was quick, the servers were friendly and provide you with menu recommendations. I recommend the green sole fish curry and the pork with sticky rice and the vegetable egg rolls! Thank you Nine & Nine!“
“Calamari and salted egg is the combination I never knew I needed!I’ve always loved the salted egg snacks/chips, as well as calamari in general - so when I saw this appetizer on the menu, it was basically a done deal! What we ordered:• salted egg calamari (with shrimp)• tom kha soup• wagyu beef salad• lump crab fried rice• beef pad see ew• mango sticky rice• Thai tea• strawberry yuzu mocktail• karate punch (pineapple, orange, coconut)We loved everything we ordered. Our favorites being the calamari and fried rice. The calamari comes with two sauces but honestly didn’t think it needed it because I didn’t want it to cover any of the salted egg flavor. The wagyu in the beef salad was great quality meat and the beef pad see ew was yummy. It was my first time trying Tom kha soup and we enjoyed the blend of flavors! The owner told us about some of the mocktails they have and he seemed proud of the Karate punch they created - think of a pina colada with an orange twist. It was all so good!I know for sure I will be back when I’m randomly craving that calamari so will have to try other menu items on the next visit!“
“Food and service here are fantastic. Located right on first street before you get to Newport. Parking can be a bit difficult to find if the plaza is busy but there is plenty of parking in the rear, it'll just be a small walk to the restaurant. There's plenty of seating available and is a good size for a family gathering. We ordered online and picked up at the restaurant. Let me start off by saying that the food is good. Plenty of flavor is packed in each bite. We were just disappointed with the portion size of the takeout. Other restaurants had larger portions for about the same price. Definitely good flavor but a bit pricey for the portion for takeout. We will come back and try dining in and see if there's any difference.“
“Been seeing this all over social media and it's decent! The line was about an hour on a Saturaday at 5:30, so definitely get here as early as possible. I recommend getting onto the Yelp wait list ASAP. The plaza is pretty small with limited parking but it shouldn't be an issue if you're early- the ambiance is super colorful and cute. We tried the Pad Thai and the Green curry. The pad thai wasn't as saucy as we thought it would be and wasn't as flavorful as we would've expected. However, the green curry w/ roti was solid! Definitely flavor packed and the right balance of spice. Not sure if it's possible, but would recommend subbing roti with rice since rice is an extra 4$.“
