“This place stands up to all the hype. Just some of the best Laotian + Thai food, all the flavors are peak umami. Try the fried fish dishes, the Tom ka gai (just the right amount of sweetness), and the amazingly fresh and perfectly seasoned morning glory if they have it (you might have to go earlier in the day, we only got some on our second visit). The laab is also perfection. Go go!“
“I've eaten there several times over the years and have never had a bad meal. Great spot for dinner but they are so busy at lunch that you may run into problems if you only have an hour break. Not sure if they are kosher but they don't serve pork. Larb and Crispy Rice Salad are both favorites here.“
“Food is phenomenal.I've been here four times trying out different dishes every visit. And yet so far, every dish is amazing quality as they don't miss with their seasonings. I really love how they rank their spicy levels from 1-10 (I usually get 7 as it is equally favorable and my desired high spice preference). The service here is quick and friendly. They understood and appreciate the times where I needed extra time to browse through the menu for a new dish. Plus, they welcomed us back every visit which I thought it was fun and awesome. The ambience is your typical asian restaurant which I prefer. The whole environment looks beautiful with the traditional look. Restaurant could get crowded sometimes during the night.I'm happy that I ate here twice for my birth-week. Would definitely visit again for favorite go-to Thai spot!5/5“
“Sawadee krup. If you are looking for authentic Thai food, this is the place. Owned and operated by a local Thai family, my wife (Thai), and I have been eating at Jumpa for over 10 years. The staff are nice, the food is well prepared, and their is ample seating if you have a big party. If you have not already done so, give it a try. You will not be disappointed!“
“A hidden gem in my neighborhood! It's a great casual Thai restaurant that satisfy your cravings for a decent price.Roti Curry: Get!!!!It was one of their specials on the board outside. Couldn't see it on their menu tho but it's 8 bucks. Very creamy savory and just so yummy on a warm buttery rotiPad thai: Get!For 12 bucks it's a pretty large portion and is tasty. I found myself adding the chili oil and pickled jalapeños for a fun kick thoBoat noods: GetAlso a pretty large dish it was comforting and hearty.Their credit card machine was down or something so it was cash only at the time. A minor inconvenience but still an annoying one.Food: 8/10Service: 6/10Atmosphere: 6/10Value: 7/10“
“After visiting Da Vien for Vietnamese style teas and coffee our appetite was stirring for some Thai food.We wanted to go to another Thai Restaurant down Garden Grove Blvd, however the spot was too small and too packed. We took a little drive further down and found Thai Avenue. The restaurant looked pretty inviting even during lunch hour on a Sunday.Ordered their fish cake appetizer for starters and they were absolutely delicious even though Mom didn't think they would be good for the first try.Next 2 orders of Pad Thai, Pah Kee Mao, and I got the Khao Kai which was amazing to my taste buds and palate. My first try of this amazing flat rice noodle dish and I will get this again for sure.Pah Kee Mao (aka drunken noodles) was also a hit here and if you enjoy this Thai dish, you won't go wrong here. The Pad Thai was a bit too sweet to be honest, I understand different cooks, different locations. I have had so many different styles of Pad Thai and a hint or a dab more of some tamarind and less sugar would have made it.Mom and daughter both didn't like it either. So all in all with the exception of their Pad Thai being too sweet, the Thai Cuisine was a 4 out of 5 stars.Restaurant is clean, organized, friendly & accommodating service. They did a great job here, thank you Thai Avenue.Parking: Plenty of parking, may vary during peak hours.“
“I really enjoyed eating at Real Thai. The employees were welcoming and I felt like I was eating at home. The food was also amazing; I ordered the Spicy Fried Rice with Medium spice and it was very good. Definitely recommend to friends and family.“
