“Ordered DoorDash and the food came hot a hit my Thai food craving. Pad see ew noodles were cooked well, spicier than what my husband and I were expecting though but still very good. Husband had the pad Thai, it was a bit too sweet for our taste. Both ordered Thai teas, these were enormous. Entrees and drink both lasted two servings.“

“I visited for a business lunch and I was really impressed. This might be my new favorite Thai restaurant. The restaurant was clean and spacious with tasteful decor. The hostess/waitress was genuine and polite. I actually felt like she was happy to serve us. My associate ordered the Panang curry with chicken while I went for the Pad Thai with chicken- spicy level 10/10. It actually had a kick! Rarely am I challenged by heat, but the dish was flavorful, plated attractively and a fully portioned. Next time I’m in the mood for Thai food, I’ll certainly be coming back!“

“I only give 4 stars to non-vegan restaurants when their vegan options are plentiful and worthy. Sabai Sabai exceeded my expectations. Their vegan protein options include not only tofu but mock duck. When I started out stating that I was vegan, the person taking the order promptly asked questions that showed that they clearly got it. And, the food was excellent. I've been going to this establishment for a couple years now and their recipes have only gotten better since the remodeling. Parking is kind of wonky so be cautious.

Also the majority of the staff I have interacted with here are ESL. So just be mindful that there can be a slight difference in their approach to conversation as English isn't their native tongue. Just be kind and respectful.

After paying up front I was dismissed politely with a bow of gratitude and an endearment of thanks. I really appreciated that as I could tell the staff was truly grateful for my business.

“My sister lives close so my mother has been racing about this delicious ocean Thai restaurant for years, we just arrived and I recognized the restaurant I came about 20 years ago and I have always remembered how good the food was. Still just as good drunken noodles, rib eye steak salad and atheir new Thai green tea is also a must order, I could drink this everyday day instead of my daily matcha. Clean tranquil great dining experience for the family. Don't wait come asap you will be happy our dinner and drinks which was a lot of food and we have leftovers about $36 plus drinks total less than $50 and worth every penny. We drove over 1 hour to get here and we will be back it was a nice surprise to see the place still looks clean and nice about 12 tables just big enough but quaint enough. It's been a constant flow of customers in and take out. That's always a good sign they recognize good quality food

“I am a Thai connoisseur. Specifically curries. Even more specifically green curry. Thai Thai makes an excellent green curry. It's one of the better ones I've had in the San Diego area. It has eggplant in it, which in my opinion, is a prerequisite for making a top notch green curry. Yum! We also love their fresh spring rolls. They serve them with peanut sauce and one other sauce that is not plum sauce (what is usually served with this appetizer), but is far more delicious in our opinion. This is one of our go-to Thai places in North County.“

This is a long-overdue and very welcome addition to the area—and it’s already making a serious impression. What feels like an overnight success is clearly driven by authenticity, passion, and execution. Thai-owned and operated, and it shows in all the right ways.
Having spent several years in Thailand, I came in with high expectations. I’m happy to say—they nailed it.
We arrived a bit early, which worked in our favor. By noon, there was already a line forming out the door—always a great sign.
The owner and staff are clearly passionate about what they do. Song stands out as a true ambassador—warm, engaging, and genuinely welcoming. You feel it the moment you walk in.
Seating is limited, but it adds to the intimate, authentic feel of the space.
What we ordered:
Fresh Shrimp Spring Rolls – perfectly wrapped, crisp, and fresh, paired with a creamy, well-balanced peanut sauce
Chicken Satay – tender, juicy, and full of flavor, served with that same standout peanut sauce
Chicken Panang Curry – rich, smooth, and beautifully balanced; the coconut milk and lemongrass come through perfectly
Mango Sticky Rice – not usually a dessert person, but this was exceptional—easily one of the best I’ve had
What impressed me most was the consistency across every dish, paired with genuine Thai hospitality that truly stands out.

“This place so super clean and the the food was amazing. Plenty of tables to eat and close by other options if you have a family like mine that can't agree on one type of food. I ate the Thai dunking noodle Veggie protein level 10 spicy with a strawberry Lemonade...And im was sooo satisfied with this dish. The Lemonade was freshly squeezed and perfect 👌. I got it as take out but the portion size was large and everything was truly perfect. The young lady who took my order was super kind and very informative of the food in question and very welcoming.
