“Ordered DoorDash and the food came hot a hit my Thai food craving. Pad see ew noodles were cooked well, spicier than what my husband and I were expecting though but still very good. Husband had the pad Thai, it was a bit too sweet for our taste. Both ordered Thai teas, these were enormous. Entrees and drink both lasted two servings.“

“Shaks came recommended to us by our wedding photographer. Upon finding out they were Armenian Lebanese (same as my family!), we knew we would book with them. As we lived out of the country, our parents went to the menu tasting and had the time of their lives. They came back raving about the place and said we have to book. Totally didn't understand the assignment of narrowing down the menu items we should have on the big day, lol. but that's a testament to how good the food is (especially the fresh falafel). Andrew was so helpful on calls, as he is very busy and emails weren't the best method of communication, and answered all of our questions, worked within our parameters and with a ton of integrity. The team was a delight on the day of and worked their tails off in the kitchen with a smile and in front of the guests. The food was a hit with the guest and I am still thinking about the garlic that I'm sure I smelled like on the wedding night because I just couldn't get enough, lol. The leftovers were awesome to have and to share with guests, too. We will be visiting Shak's when we're in the area as a nostalgia trip!!“

“Our favorite local winery! And our only current wine club membership (the wines are that good!). The tasting room with the outdoor seating area is chill and a great place to unwind and have a glass or two while listening to live music on the weekends. They have other fun events every month, too. Dog friendly and people friendly, too! The staff are so sweet and welcoming. We love that it’s off the beaten path and unexpected to find in an industrial area in Vista. Pit this one on your list to check out.“

“I was very surprised by this place and its food. The calamari was fried just perfect and the Greek Salad was wonderful which had just enough feta cheese unlike other places.

The manager on Friday was very welcoming to our group of 10 and very accommodating, he also personally took care of us. We sat outside on the picnic tables, the evening weather was just perfect and the music was jamming.

Our group will definitely be returning for another fun evening. 🍕🥗🍺“

“We had a delicious and wonderful experience at Giovanettis. We were welcomed in to the restaurant with a smile and friendly Hostess who later went over the daily specials with passion. Her passion for the food and the description of each dish was inspiring.
Our server was great - turned us on to a delicious wine from Sicily which was surprisingly reasonably priced. I had the Salmon alla checca. Wow was this delicious! The Salmon was cooked perfectly and the pasta had a fresh tomato, garlic, basil topping, light on the oil. This was a perfect dish. Prior to the pasta we started with a salad and bread - The salad was fresh, crisp, flavorful with a yummy light dressing and the bread was served with real butter, not whipped or altered just real butter - delicious.
Service was impeccable and the food outstanding. We are new regulars!“

“Met the owner and his family on the train going toward Encinitas and they were some of the coolest train folk I’ve ever met. They were kind enough to give me and my partner a free box of their grand slam pizza (which we both devoured due to the deliciousness.) I think it’s safe to say that, that was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had on a train before. Or ever. I’m not located in vista whatsoever, however, I’d make a 2 hour trip to grand slam solely to get another taste of that pizza. (And ranch!) I never got the owners name unfortunately, but me and my partner were very grateful for your kindness and pizza that day. Hope to visit grand slam soon!!“

“Anthony catered tacos for our wedding this past weekend, and they were hands down the BEST tacos I have ever had - I know I'm a pinche güero but give me some credit! The food was fresh, flavorful, and a huge hit with our guests and we received so many compliments throughout the afternoon about how delicious everything was. He was smiling the whole time and was interacting with the guests giving off great energy and setting the vibe.

Anthony was an absolute delight to work with and brought such positive energy to the entire process. He made everything easy and stress-free from start to finish. I would highly recommend him and his company to anyone looking for amazing Mexican food and outstanding service, and we hope to use them again in the future!

Los Cabos is a family restaurant and Anthony is a part of the fam. My wife and I have been coming to the restaurant for a long time and it never fails. We were so lucky to have them cater our wedding.“

“Happen to be in the area and I stopped by here for some tacos and it was Tuesday and they had a special going on for two dollar tacos. They had over a dozen options, but I chose the Asada and the pastor so fresh and delicious wish I had a room for more. The beans on the tacos were the cherry on top.“

“Small but extremely homey place. It reminds me of when I owned a deli with my dad. I called up my friend in O‘ahu to ask what to order. I got a BBQ chicken masubi and a loco moco. This is my first time coming here; in all honesty, I was pleasantly surprised. The masubi I ate plain tho my friend recommended sriracha. I’m usually wary of seaweed unless it’s drier haha, but I liked it! If you have texture issues, the seaweed moving when you bite slightly may be bothersome, but overall I definitely can see myself swinging by again for a bite, I will get spam next. I really liked the loco moco. The beef was perfect it was soft and the gravy helped carry it's overall flavor not overpower it, and the portions were generous. It was an amazing fill of protein and just overall indulgence. I’m stuffed, but happy. To those who dont like cold salads tho it does come with the loco moco and I was silly and forgot to ask them not to add it. I definitely will recommend. My friend in O’ahu says this place is legit menue wise and he'd order here himself when he came to visit hahah. Double approved 👍👍“

If you like spicy, you cannot pass on their hot and spicy soup. We have turned on several friends to that dish alone! We have also dabbled with most of their chicken and beef dishes; all have been fantastic! The owner, Lee, is an outstanding guy. Always amazing service with a smile. His staff always goes out of the way to make your dining experience memorable and pleasurable. They’ve made us feel like family from the beginning. We endorse this restaurant with our highest regard and crave it on a weekly basis. Get over there and try it for yourself. You’ll become a regular in no time!“

“I was just looking for a wings place, I did not expect such a varied menu. I ordered the carne asada fries, the chipotle fries, buffalo wings, and a carnitas quesadilla. Everybody loved their food!

I had the quesadilla and this may be my second favorite carnitas. Well seasoned, soft, and not oily. I also had some of the chipotle fries. Everybody was right, they were amazing.

It's criminal that there wasn't a line out the door. The prices were reasonable and service was very quick. We definitely will be visiting again.“

“Had a really nice experience during my first visit. I completely misread the menu and ordered a green chile chilaquiles burrito. It’s not a menu item but they didn’t turn down my request or even say it wasn’t on the menu; they just made it! I only realized afterwards that it was not a menu item but the burrito was delicious! All the ingredients were fresh, the rice was very flavorful and well seasoned and overall very enjoyable. I’d definitely go back to try more stuff. It was really nice of them to make me an item that wasn’t even on their menu and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.“

We had an amazing experience at this family restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious—everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The customer service was outstanding; everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. On top of that, the wait time was practically nonexistent, which made the experience even better. It's not often you find great food, excellent service, and fast seating all in one place.
