“Nine of us had lunch here on a busy Saturday-glad we had reservations! The waitress did a fabulous job taking care of us and all our many requests. The food was excellent as well-the only exception might be the funfetti pancakes, which were a little sweet. My one BIG complaint was the LOUD MUSIC, especially the THUMPING BASS. I asked several times if they could turn down the volume, but no luck. I want to preserve my hearing, and for that reason I will not dine here again.“

“First visit, I had the Chimichurri Tri-Tip plate ($20.95).
The tri-tip was very good, nicely done. Good flavor and good serving size. Chimicurri sauce was also very good. The fries were served hot and crisp, mixed grilled veg serving was very small, focaccia bread (not shown) was fresh.
The counter service was slow, we were ignored for too long, with no acknowledgement.
We sat on outside patio area, staff was slow to clean tables (there were crows feeding off the leftover plates).“

“Amazing food!!! We got a few things on the menu today. We got the firebird , cali dip , kids meal chicken nuggets . Let’s start with the firebird .. amazing sweet and spicy taste with big nice pickles to maintain the heat overall recommend this sandwich . The Cali Dip was delicious sweet and so much flavor I’d have to say one of the best “Tortas” I ever ate . The fries are the best !!! Sauces are so yummy. Everything was about $47 but SO WORTH IT!“

“The top sections on the menu are 100% plant based, and the second half has meat options. It sounds like they used to be fully vegan, so it’s disappointing they added meat to the menu. “We’re visiting Carlsbad and didn’t have dinner reservations, so after walking around the Village we decided to try our luck at the bar. We were told about 30 minutes for a table, or we could wait for seats at the bar. We chose the bar, met a nice couple while waiting, and had seats open up in about 15 minutes.

Really impressive place from the minute you walk in. The building, architecture, lighting and attention to detail are all extremely well done. Great atmosphere without trying too hard.

Josh took care of us at the bar and was outstanding. Made us cocktails right away, walked us through the menu and gave honest, down-to-earth recommendations. We couldn’t decide, so we sampled a few things. The deviled eggs were a standout, and the ribeye dip and fried chicken were both excellent.

What really made it was the combination of the atmosphere, food and service. Everything was on point without feeling overly formal or stuffy.

We’re from out of town, so unfortunately this probably won’t become a regular stop for us, but it’s one we’ll remember. Definitely left wishing we had more places like this back home. Exactly our kind of place.“

The three sisters that run it are amazing women that take pride in their work always so uplifting and with a smile on there faces. If you haven’t tried this place what are you waiting for. “Order at the counter and food is brought to your table. There's a separate counter for ordering coffee.

The #1 burrito was fantastic and huge. No cheap fillers. Delicious eggs, sausage, avocado. I took half home for the next day. Kids loved the French toast and pancake combos. They also enjoyed the fruit smoothies.

Overall it felt like good value for the money. There was no line and it was easy to get a table at 8:45 on a Saturday, but when we left at 9:30, there was a line out the door. Free street parking was easy to find at that time.“
