The best fish tacos! Double wrapped soft tortillas so they don't sock through like so many other tacos! Fresh lime wedge and tasty sauce with cabbage. Big portions too, not some dinky little taco. Fresh salsas too. Price is the best anywhere! Cheaper than Mexico!
My son was in visiting from Portland. I picked him up late at airport. As Portland has no good Mexican, he wanted a CA burrito. Driving back to Carlsbad decided to stop at El Pueblo off the 5. I hadn't been forever but remember the cheap fish tacos. $1.19 now, so didn't expect much but really good. Better than Rubios for sure. He got CA burrito also , average. Would recommend place for fish tacos.
