“This is one of my happy places. Its by the beach and there's a thriftstore in the same little strip mall. The donuts are super as evidenced by the constant foot traffic and cars coming and going Its got a great vibe. My favorite is the orange glazed. They're all really good. They have more than donuts too. Enjoy!”
“Much better than past visits. Too many times you're just ignored by the teenage cashier or food is just not cared for due to being busy. Place was busy, but it was clear management was on it that night (Mon 3/11) could see some guests were just plain rude or disrespectful, but the staff kept with it and killed it with kindness, service and stuck with the quality of food you'd expect for a place with the name, "Best Pizza?". Glad to be back home and see such a turn around”
“If you're in Cardiff, bump coffee is an absolute must try! Their CBD drink coffee is absolutely delicious and definitely gives you a good amount of energy when you need it most. I don't have the "crash" either from this drink which is great. The employees here are extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is very laid-back and welcoming which I love I highly recommend people give this place a try if you are in the area.”
“Put it this way. We have talked a lot about making a 5 hour drive to the beach, just to get Fish 101. The fish tacos are nuts. When you plan a birthday trip around how close you are to fish 101 you know you might be obsessed.”
“Incredible little pub with some of the best beer in San Diego!!!! You can also get food next door at the pizza joint, East Coast, which is great. One of my favorite places, cannot recommend enough.”
“This is a nice place to grab a bite when chilling in the square. We snagged a slice and a salad from here which chilling at the brewery next door and it was the perfect combo. I may have accidentally dropped my slice on the floor as soon as I stepped outside which they replaced for free. The least I could do was give them a shoutout. The small salad was huge by the way. They hook it up! They also sell soft serve ice cream here which was a huge hit with the kids. This is a quick and convenient place to eat while hanging out.Vegetarian options: The salads are huge here. Also who doesn't love pizza.Kid-friendliness: There were plenty of kids at the restaurant and eating pizza and ice cream in the quad outside. It is a great place for families.”
“Food was really really good, atmosphere just so-so. But we were there after dark and didn't get to experience the ocean view, probably better during the day.”
“Sat outside. Dog friendly. Nice turf for my pooch to lay on. Wine list is limited but the red blend was decent for the price. Bouncers did good job on carding, some people in another group had to leave bc they didn't bring their ID. Cool hip vibe near the campground. Easy walk and nice place to hang outside with heaters. Service outside was prompt as soon as I sat down.”
“There is a reason they call it "Crack" steak. What a wonderfully seasoned and tender unique piece of beef. My daughter drives and hour each way to pick it up! We loved that it was so easy to cook on the grill.”
“The restaurant brought memories back from my travels in Italy. The staff was amazing and treated everyone like family. It wasn't easy to pick one entrée. I have to advise to end your meal with a delicious TIRAMISU... We will be returning....”
“This is where I get my medicine from and always have unbeatable deals on there cereals, like I got two large Frosted Flakes for only $6, when only large Frosted Flakes is is original price $8.29 each. I couldn't pass up that deal, I got other unbeatable deals on the cereals too. The best part of that store is they have great ice cream bar.”
“5 Stars for their Chicken Soup. They keep it authentic and it tastes just like I love it in Mexico. The soup is my go-to every time seasonal colds ravage my casa. Thanks amigos for keeping it real!”
“Self-service, convenient location. The Dragonfruit bowl came out perfectly balanced, dripping with deliciousness. Honestly, it was the best acai bowl I've ever had.”
“Not sure why it closed at 2! But it was a good Starbucks to work from. Drove from Mira Mesa to work with an old boss here and the wifi was good with outlets. But just closed ”
“Quiet little shop. This was my first time trying it and had an overall good experience! I ordered the California burrito with no pico and added sour cream instead. Unlike some of the reviews I read, I got exactly what I asked for. Also, Horchata was really good! Cashier was really friendly and helpful. I feel I will be returning to try some of their other foods.”
“I've only eaten here once, but it was fantastic. As you might suspect, this is one of those places where you're going to pay quite a bit, and you're going to do it specifically to be somewhat outside your usual comfort zone. Portions are small but not unreasonably so. Flavors are going to be complex and rather experimental, even unconventional, so only come here when you're in a mindset for being adventurous in eating. That will ensure you have a positive experience and get the most out of your adventure. During my meal with friends I learned that I can absolutely love rhubarb and sweetbreads, two things I've not liked before. But this place turned them into new magic. The halibut and wagyu beef were to die for, but not in any way that I have ever tasted before. I wasn't a huge fan of a bone marrow appetizer (although friends loved it), so the servers gave us a complimentary round of champagne. Pretty fair, if you ask me. Speaking of drinks, the bartenders have as many tasty and unique tricks as the chefs do. Order a gin gimlet even if you don't usually like them. I was hooked. Remember, adventure and new flavor experiences are the reason for coming here, not just to have food made from the best ingredients. Decor is romantic and sort of mid century mod, spacing is cozy but not tight, and the atmosphere is vibrant, perhaps even a little loud. I will definitely be coming back for more new flavors.”
“We eloped yesterday in the desert and drove into Carlsbad to have a relaxing day near the beach. We have heard such great things from a close friend about Campfire so it was a no brainer where we would eat dinner. We had no idea how fantastic of an experience we were in for, or how insanely delicious the dishes and mock-tails would be, and lastly how the service and hospitality would be so beyond that it would bring us to tears. We felt so special and honestly cared for by our waiter Zach and even the management. Being that it was the day after our elopement they went to beautiful lengths to make me and my wife feel special. There are no words to capture how emotional that was for me and her. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Campfire and Zach will always be a part of our wedding story!Thank you thank you thank you for being beautiful people!! We hope to make it back there one day! Maybe an anniversary trip! ”
“This place is amazing. Exceptional, I’d suggest Michelin-qualifying, three-course prix fixe. I’ve never had a disappointing bite of food here, and the cocktails are great, too.”
“Loved the resturant and the employees were amazing, helpful and kind. While I know this is fine dining the portions are very small. My scallops tasted tinny. They are supposed to have a sweetness to them. In my opinion the method of cooking and seasoning was off. The appetizers were just ok. We ordered two veggie sides and they were just ok. If your using local veggies sauces are not needed to make them delicious. I realize I'm picky. The menu just may not be for me. Nothing sparked I have to come back. I wish it did. The staff was amazing. I feel like the restaurant needs a menu restart. Maybe something the chef and the cooks are passionate about serving.”
“What a find this place is! The cocktail program is spectacular, extremely unique and well balanced original cocktails coupled with excellent classics.Food is also really tasty and unique with thai inspired dishes. As if Same Same wasn't great enough, they have gluten free dishes and clearly someone is aware of cross contamination in that kitchen, because I have celiac and woke up feeling great which is kind of rare. So BRAVO Same Same. Your staff was amazingly knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining as well. The decor is also awesome. My husband and I cannot wait to come back and try the whole menu.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and Gluten Free / Celiac friendly”
“This was the best restaurant experience I have ever had. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. Our order arrived on time, and most importantly, the dishes were delicious. I visited the place with my wife, and she was very pleased. As they say, a happy wife equals a happy life.”
“Awesome beer! Vibe was very cool! Staff was outstanding. One of our favorite local breweries! They really have the murky/hazy IPA game down! You can tell they use super fresh ingredients in their beer! Can’t wait to go back.”
“Bun Cha Ha Noi was solid, Cha Ca La Vong was good, Com Chay Thit Bo was excellent, Goi Xoai Tom was ok (the dressing was a bit too sweet). Service was decent and friendly.”
“Really good beer and great selection of different brews . Great atmosphere to sit and relax and enjoy a drink with friends . Big shout out to Bill and Mathias for guiding us in our selections”
“Food was great! I love ramen and this spot is one of the best I've had! We got the Gonzo black and the tonkatsu along with some takoyaki. The Takoyaki was average, but the ramen was superb! The broth was rich and was very flavorful. The staff was really nice and the food came out quickly as well. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stop by again!”
“Can't say enough about the food, views, and our server Ryan. He made a great experience fantastic. If only all restaurants had Ryan's.Every little detail was there including soft salted butter for the bread, good patios heaters, and great food and drink suggestions from our server.”
“The storefront is small, but the employee who helped us was very friendly. The serving size for a double scoop was generous, and the quality was good.Try the mint chip! It's a really excellent version of what it is.Vegetarian options: All of the ice cream is vegan.Dietary restrictions: This place is good for anyone eating vegan or gluten-free. It's even Celiac-safe!Parking: Easy parking, though the storefront itself is tucked into the office park.”
“We had the most exceptional experience and I will certainly be back. Giovanni took care of us as if we were part of his family, with generosity and such warmth. His knowledge is impressive!Let alone his passion for food, wine and spirits.Food was excellent, coffee as well.A little hidden gem!”
“This is our favorite Italian restaurant in this area. They are vegan friendly, and the food is delicious. They have a small selection of vegan pizzas and have vegan cheese. My husband is from Chicago, so picky about his pizza. So far, their flatbread, is the only pizza he's found that is likes. We've ordered to-go for two large events over the past three years and everyone loved the food.”
“We were walking around Encinitas on a Saturday morning and came across this gem. We walked inside and were instantly greeted. The cashier was so sweet and patient while we looked at the menu and ordered. I ordered an iced matcha latte and my boyfriend got a flat white. Both drinks were good and came out fast. Limited seating outside but it wasn't really busy. We found a nice high table outside and sipped our drinks while we people watched. Perfect for coffee dates and studying! I think they have wifi too.”
