I would expect any chef knows that when you order an egg for a burger or a sandwich if you want it to be ready nice and warm and runny that’s why you have it put on there. But flavors and textures were excellent”

We accidentally entered on the rooftop patio area, where you can order food and drinks at the bar (rather than doing table service inside), and we're so glad we did! Our bartender Steve congratulated us and we talked for a short time. Everyone is so friendly, can’t beat the quality of their meals ! We drive out from Phoenix to have their specialty. “The pastries here are out of this world! All of the ingredients are imported from France, which makes a huge difference because it’s less sugar and better quality than American ingredients. The seasonal menu is wonderful. I got the caramel apple butter chai iced latte and a pumpkin spice cinnamon roll as well as some cakes. Really recommend the chai I got. It’s my new favorite drink I’m obsessed. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. They take pride in their food and take care of the space. They were super friendly and helpful. Everything is baked fresh daily and flavors for the rolled and cubed croissants change everyday, so you never know what you will get, but it’s guaranteed delicious. They are known for their rolled, square, and filled croissants, so be sure to try those. The chocolate croissants are excellent. Literally everything is so good you can’t go wrong. The cakes are life changing incredible. I recommend everyone try at least one. Some are gluten free so just ask. My favorites are le nuage, guava strawberry, le royal, vanilla bean tart, blackberry earl grey, mango passion fruit, the list goes on… They also have a whole wall of products from France and Europe. They even have Swedish candy! I got the Nina’s Marie Antoinette tea and Swedish candy and they were both so delicious. Love this place.”

“We have been looking for a place that served tasty Acai Bowls…Our favorite Acai bowl places either, closed down, burned down or changed the way they made their Acai bowls…We found Liquid Bean Café on the internet and decided to give it a try…Well, we both had the Acai bowls but I added an Egg Salad Sandwich pressed in a Panini press to our order…The Acai Bowls were fresh and totally delicious!!!…I really liked the Egg Salad Sandwich and loved the way it was pressed and toasted in the Panini press…We highly recommend Liquid Bean Café if you are ever in the Del Mar area…We will definitely be back again!!!…Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“This is Del Mars hidden gem for sure! We have dined next door a dozen times and never noticed this hidden little cocktail bar right in front of our eyes. The atmosphere is great, service is perfect but the star really was the cocktails. We got a few rounds but my favourite was the beet margarita hands down. Very fun, great job to La Tienda!”

“If you are looking for a hidden gem in Del Mar, you have to stop by Kini. It is such a cute, charming little booth that packs a huge punch when it comes to both quality and atmosphere.

The first thing you’ll notice is the stunning ocean view. There is nothing quite like sipping a fresh cup of coffee while looking out over the water—it’s the perfect spot to start your morning or take a peaceful afternoon break.
What really makes this place special, though, is the service.

The baristas, Lala and Tina, are absolutely wonderful. They are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and they make every visit feel personal. It’s rare to find a spot where the people are just as bright as the California sunshine!

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. It’s easily my new favorite coffee ritual!”

“The breakfast burrito is the best!! The bagel with lox also delicious and fish and fries as well. The atmosphere is cozy and the service kind and helpful. I didn’t give a 5 because my chicken sandwich had a very tasteless piece of chicken breast. This was so in contrast to the bun, the fresh avocado and tomato I added. I suggest they use a better type of chicken. This looked like a frozen flat mass produced product with bad texture and no flavor. Hope this is helpful as otherwise the cafe is super nice with many tasty drinks and food.”

“Great night crew tonight! Had the speed, quality and service I love to see my sandwich was perfect! If you don’t like jersey mikes you just don’t know what to order great sandwiches every single time! Can’t beat it!”

“I understand mistakes happen. I usually eat at this restaurant once a week after my late shift around 2/3 a.m. I noticed the quality of food got really bad. My meal was simple—a single patty cheeseburger with nothing on it. The first mess-up was the fries—they were burnt. Then the second mess-up: a burnt burger. Like, crispy burnt. Then my last and final straw—they served me a moldy burger that I thought was flour. Even my friends saw it and agreed after I sent them a picture. I ended up in the hospital. I called the manager, and he didn’t even offer a refund—said I was lying. I told him I’d send proof, and then he said no and hung up in my face. Not only is the manager rude and disrespectful, he cares little for his kitchen’s mistakes—and it cost me a day in the hospital. Cost me the only day I have with my son. All because his chefs are lazy and don’t care what they serve.”

“We had an amazing stay at L'Auberge Del Mar. The hotel was stunning—beautifully updated with modern finishes and stylish furnishings. Our room was exceptional, featuring an incredibly comfortable bed, luxurious bedding, a marble bathroom, and a breathtaking ocean view from the balcony. The hot tub was a perfect temperature for the cool May evening. On Saturday night, there was a gorgeous wedding on the rooftop, and we enjoyed listening to the music from the hot tub. It wrapped up around 10:30 p.m., allowing for a peaceful and restful night’s sleep. The staff was extremely courteous, and the valet service was top-notch. We will absolutely return to this beautiful hotel and highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay—don’t hesitate to book your room!”
