“We have been looking for a place that served tasty Acai Bowls…Our favorite Acai bowl places either, closed down, burned down or changed the way they made their Acai bowls…We found Liquid Bean Café on the internet and decided to give it a try…Well, we both had the Acai bowls but I added an Egg Salad Sandwich pressed in a Panini press to our order…The Acai Bowls were fresh and totally delicious!!!…I really liked the Egg Salad Sandwich and loved the way it was pressed and toasted in the Panini press…We highly recommend Liquid Bean Café if you are ever in the Del Mar area…We will definitely be back again!!!…Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“The food was amazing. I used to go to a similar place that closed and this is the closest thing to it. Ordered the orange chicken and black pepper beef and both were great. Was slightly disappointed with the spice rating because my wife and I love Szechuan cuisine but their “5 star” spicy was not spicy at all. The other thing I was disappointed with was my server was not very attentive and went a long time without water and not checking in with us to see if we needed anything else. She came and took our order then dropped it off and never came back. Atmosphere very quaint and intimate. Definitely sit in the patio. Overall, new favorite Szechuan place.

“Parking is rough. Lox bagel was a bit salty beyond the capers. Passion fruit tea wasn't Passion fruit, they were nice and switched me out to coffee. Can't rember the sandwich we ordered but it was on a ciabatta bread. It was good but the bread was a little too hard for my taste. Beach is close but was expecting a bit more of a view. My daughter's been 3X's from Lakeside so I was expecting more. She said it's the breakfast you go for. I'll give it another go. We walked around after lunch and got a Parking ticket too. My fault, we went over the 3 hrs. I'll remember next time to move my truck.”

“An historic building in Del Mar, CA attached to En Fuego Cantina & Grill, it operates separately opening Tues, Fri & Sat nights at 4:30 PM until 2:00 AM. The building was a Tea Room back in 1930, then an office, restaurants, including the modern En Fuego. The earthy warm wood colors all around make a relaxing ambience! Enter at the En Fuego upper street level and turn right. Enjoy!”

“We stayed at the BW Premiere in Del Mar and gave the Cafe Del Mar on-site a try. What a hidden gem. It is a little store and Cafe, but the food is excellent and it sits adjacent to the patio at the hotel. Lots of local folks stopped by for coffee during their morning hike. We got a fruit bowl and a breakfast burrito. Both were fresh and tasty. And the price was incredibly reasonable. Five stars for the service and food. I gave four stars for the atmosphere because it is just a little storefront, but do not let that deter you.”

“This is our favorite Jersey Mikes. It has an awesome dinner deal - buy one get one for 5$ after 5pm. The team here is super fast, kind, and welcoming.

We usually go for the #8, mikes way, no onions, add yellow mustard and banana peppers. It’s a super club with crispy bacon, ham, and turkey with lettuce, tomato, and provolone.

The #99 is also awesome - it’s a Philly cheese steak with chipotle mayo. Add extra mushrooms if you’re feeling sassy.

Definitely worth coming in!

“Sbicca seems to be our go-to when my friend and I stay in Del Mar, convenient, good Happy Hour and 1/2 wine bottle days. We were in Del Mar for an extended stay and ended up dining here 4 time, all for Happy Hour at the bar area and meeting friend for dinner on the street level patio area. Out of all the times the service from the Bar and Jose on the patio was excellent. This is a great place to meet friends.

As far as drinks go, the bar makes excellent Skinny Margaritas, Bloody Marys, Espresso and Regular Martinis and their 1/2 off wine days are great. Food has always been consistently good. The Mussels, Shrimp Fettuccini, Crispy Chicken Buns, Farm Burger, Salmon Crudo and the Meatballs all hot and fresh. The Mussels and burgers were excellent.

Atmosphere: nice relaxing vibe, both indoor and outdoor seating. Service: excellent at Bar & Patio. Food: good.”
