“First visit, I had the Chimichurri Tri-Tip plate ($20.95).
The tri-tip was very good, nicely done. Good flavor and good serving size. Chimicurri sauce was also very good. The fries were served hot and crisp, mixed grilled veg serving was very small, focaccia bread (not shown) was fresh.
The counter service was slow, we were ignored for too long, with no acknowledgement.
We sat on outside patio area, staff was slow to clean tables (there were crows feeding off the leftover plates).“

“I have never been here before but decided to stop in and check it out while the gentleman that I'm a caretaker for was over at Milton's having lunch with his friends. I decided to have a cheat day on my diet and have this burger and... OMG 🔥🔥🔥.
So fricking worth it. I will definitely be back again.“

“I understand mistakes happen. I usually eat at this restaurant once a week after my late shift around 2/3 a.m. I noticed the quality of food got really bad. My meal was simple—a single patty cheeseburger with nothing on it. The first mess-up was the fries—they were burnt. Then the second mess-up: a burnt burger. Like, crispy burnt. Then my last and final straw—they served me a moldy burger that I thought was flour. Even my friends saw it and agreed after I sent them a picture. I ended up in the hospital. I called the manager, and he didn’t even offer a refund—said I was lying. I told him I’d send proof, and then he said no and hung up in my face. Not only is the manager rude and disrespectful, he cares little for his kitchen’s mistakes—and it cost me a day in the hospital. Cost me the only day I have with my son. All because his chefs are lazy and don’t care what they serve.“

“Wonderful enviorment i was talking to Jasmine and she helped me get my food quickly and nicely. Even though i only saw 2 people in there she was still cooking and preparing the food with good quality and in a timely manner to satisfy us customers. There was a long line even at 2 in the morning and she still kept a smile and positive attitude in the window and drive though, wish i could rate it more than 5 stars.“

Now that I graduated UCSD, I’m seriously gonna miss my beloved late night snickerdoodle milkshakes as well as being greeted by the melt’s friendly staff! Claire really stood out to me as someone who was consistently cheerful and helpful. I also really love that they’ve been showing the World Cup! I highly recommend stopping by for a bite to eat as it’s never failed to be yummy and a good vibe!“

“The Rosie and the Softshell Crab sliders were fantastic! The Nashville hot one was pretty awful NGL. I would recommend just the normal fries, save the $4 and don't bother with the Elote Fries. Despite finding it a bit overpriced for the offerings, it was a tasty lunch!“

“We attended the 20th annual Celebrate the Craft. It was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the event. The waitstaff at the bar was friendly and provided excellent service.“

“The burgers and fries are both quite good, and the thin crust pizza is very tasty. Many choices for the burgers and pizzas. The owner and staff are friendly and outgoing but not obnoxious or phony. Give it try!“

“The top sections on the menu are 100% plant based, and the second half has meat options. It sounds like they used to be fully vegan, so it’s disappointing they added meat to the menu. I enjoyed the Munchwrap and the smash burger was pretty good. Next time I hope to try the flatbread—they currently have one plant based flatbread on the menu.“

“The Friendly Burger is a small shop that truly delivers amazing food. Their smash burger is outstanding crispy on the edges, juicy in the center and packed with flavor in every bite. The onion rings are perfectly cooked, golden, and crunchy with just the right seasoning. The cashier was friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. While the parking lot is on the smaller side, it’s a minor inconvenience for such quality. This spot is absolutely worth the visit, especially if you are in the neighborhood for work and need a satisfying, delicious lunch.“

“I had the Mediterranean crunch salad, and it was just okay. A handful of the greens in the salad were wilty or turning yellow, which is disappointing when you're paying $20 for a simple salad. My boyfriend got the red curry, which he said tasted like a backpacking MRE (in a bad way). Speakers out on the patio are unnecessary and music is too loud. Friendly service was a plus.“

“I ALWAYS enjoy my burger from Crispy burger. I have celiac disease and I never have a reaction when I order here and get a burger and order it with the gluten free bun (which actually tastes good and doesn't immediately fall apart). My family always enjoys their food, too. They particularly love the onion rings, which, I cannot personally vouch for (obviously), but they are big critics, so they must be delish.
The ONLY down side to the Crispy burger on Convoy is the parking situation.. like,, daaaaaang. What the heck is happening there??? It's best to park on the street NEXT to the shop rather that try to fight for a spot in the lot (that has like 12 spots total for 4 very popular store fronts).“
