“This restaurant is in downtown La Mesa seriously amazing. Probably the best burger I've ever had. I got to be the last burger before they sold out. it was so juicy but honestly this sauce they put on top has like southwest flavoring, and they have roasted poblano peppers on top of the burger. So much flavor but not falling apart. This place is clean, nice and the most accommodating staff. The owners were there and took care of us personally. It's definitely worth the line.“
“Top notch food, service and atmosphere. We have wanted to visit and try Dukes for a while now and made it happen a couple of days ago. When we went in we were greeted by a very friendly cashier. We let her know it was our first time and she let us know we were going to love it. She was so right!! We ended up getting a single dukes onion burger, a chicken sandwich and the steak and blue cheese fries. It seemed pricy when we looked at the board, but when we got our food we saw it was huge. So worth the prices paid. In actuality you are paying more at a fast food burger joint for sub par food. Everything we got at Dukes was amazing. The burger was melt in your mouth delicious. The chicken sandwich had an amazing dill sauce on it that just made it spectacular. The steak and blue cheese fries were topped off with a sauce that is a total meat have. It was fantastic. We will be back soon to try more options and to say hi to the great crew there. Go check it out. You won't be disappointed.“

“What can you expect from a pool hall... Clean, fun, chill atmosphere. Most people/players were respectful. Food was what you would expect.. They have anything that you can microwave. All in all not a bad place to hang out for a couple of hours“

“We love this place! It's a family owned business and the man who I believe is also an owner is really friendly. It's always really clean and the food/drinks are always fresh. And good thing because people ordering at the register take a while.Service would've been quicker if other customers weren't so slow at picking up their food or apparently unaware of what they ordered.Parking: Parking can go either way since there's a Chick-fil-A in the same lot, where their drive-thru passes. But the time I went, I quickly found a spot.“

“I wouldn't normally do this but I really appreciated the service that I got today at Jack In The box at this location. I called at about 11:30 to see if they had a certain menu item that some other locations do not have, and they actually answered the phone, which is if anyone else knows most fast food restaurants will ignore the ringing for hours. The guy who picked up the phone was friendly with me and quickly assured me that they had that menu item so I proceeded to drive over to that location. When I got there I was that person unfortunately who came at 5 minutes before closing time and I felt really bad about it but I was just really hungry and was looking for something specific to curb my craving. However the guy at the drive-thru was nothing but nice when I asked again if they had that item and he rung me up correctly for my items, and still proceeded to give me great service. When I got to the window, I found out his name was Ivan and he was the same person who kindly answer the phone and took my order at the drive-thru line. Even though I was their last customer of the day because I came five minutes late even gave me nothing but good customer service Ivan was very helpful and him and the line team made the menu item that I know they don't just have on hand and had to make fresh. Never was I given an attitude or anything, I asked for sauces and extra napkins and he was very kind and courteous to me and the food was fresh and hot. My last experience at the Jack In The box on college avenue wasn't so good so I decided to try this one and I'm very happy I did. Even though it's a little bit of a longer drive I will appreciate the service that I was given tonight and we'll be coming back again! Thank you guys so much for serving me even though I came late and not pretending that you didn't have an item just because you didn't feel like making it, that goes a long way in my book and I really appreciate it. I hope the people who are working at the location tonight get the recognition they deserve because their job is not easy and I commend anybody who does it while still being courteous to the customer.“
“Came here during their happy hour and they offer some pretty good deals. Got their mastiff fries, Brussels sprouts, and smash burger slider. Each of these were $5. They also offer $5 off all their whole pizzas. Took advantage of this and ordered their That's My Boy pizza. Suuuuuper good. Comes with pepperoni, ricotta cheese, jalapeño, honey, and red sauce. The balance of spiciness and sweetness is perfect. I noticed they had a bunch of beers on draft so it would be a great place to chill and have some drinks, too.“
