“One of our favorite spots ever, the servers are attentive are really funny with us, they would throw some jokes there and there when they notice that you're friendly. It offers amazing services and discounts with the app. The times that i had come to this spot, its always clean despite it being packed up!“

“Friends of Friends and Wavy Burgers - This is my favorite coffee shop in National city. It’s artistic, unique, and fun. I always find something new and delicious, and that’s selling it short. I’d take friends or family from out of town here, and I have. Definitely a highlight of National city and the owners should be very proud.

Only vice is sometimes the music is a touch too loud or vile with expletives over and over again… no thanks. Those days I just grab my food and dip. That’s a knock on an atmosphere star.

“John our server was the most attentive server I’ve had in a while. He made sure our appetizers were served first before the main entree. Unfortunately they didn’t have the passion fruit lemonade I liked but he went above and beyond to double check if they had it and offered an alternative. Corey and Meghan were also attentive & made sure to check up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back & hopefully John can be our server again!“

“The Well Deck is a hidden gem inside Navy Base San Diego. The atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and has a relaxing vibe that’s perfect after a long day on base. The staff is always friendly and professional — they really make you feel appreciated.

The food is fresh and well-prepared, with generous portions and great flavor. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a full meal, everything tastes like it’s made with care. Their burgers and pizzas are top-notch, and the drink selection is surprisingly good for a spot on base.

“Decent food, but it’s worth noting that this is a virtual brand operating out of Denny's. The menu and burgers are essentially the same as what you'd get from a standard Denny's order. If you like their food, you'll like this, but don't expect a standalone gourmet burger joint!“

“On Sunday, November 9th, I visited the restaurant. They offered me the new burger, but I wanted to use the app, though I couldn't. The cashier, Jennifer, was very kind and tried to help, but she wasn't successful either, so she decided to call the manager, Zuquey. Zuquey managed to help me, even though she was very busy cooking. She politely told me she had a lot of orders and it would take a little while, but they would try to get the food out as quickly as possible, and they did. My order was very well done: fresh fries and perfectly cooked, hot burgers. We were very happy with the service and the place. I give the manager a 10/10, the kitchen staff a 10/10, and of course, the cashier a 10/10. Even though there were only three of them, they did a great job. I hope they value these workers, since it seems like the restaurant either doesn't have enough staff or doesn't want to hire more people, which makes it look like labor exploitation. The good thing about all this is that the few people they have are very hardworking, so they should value their employees. Congratulations! My family and I will be back very soon, we were pleased with the service.“

“I freaking love the smash burger, I’m not much of a hotdog person unless is the chili cheese ones, besides that I love how they have variety menu items and never miss on how good they are, what I love the most is how it’s one of the few places that still keeps their old school signature parking where you can order and eat on the spot and it’s quick especially if your tired and need to eat!“
