“Took the family to Burger Kook in Bonita this evening. This was the first time we visited and it was a fantastic dining experience. this is a Family business serving fine quality food in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We ordered the cheeseburger, the pizza burger, the teriyaki burger and corn dogs. Everything was terrific and the owners stopped by our table to check up, and we really enjoyed having a conversation with each of them. they make you feel so very welcome. definitely a do again. Lots more menu items to try.“

“Im here almost every day due to the proximity, however, the service has slowed down a little since the push to using the app, the inside order screens, and I'm thinking less employees per shift. I even see the managers having to pitch in to help more. I'm estimating I've been idling in this drive thru for over 20 minutes even though there were only a handful of cars ahead of me.“

“My roommate and I have been coming here for a while, it's easily one of our favorite regular spots. The atmosphere is stylish and gives off great vibes and always feels welcoming. The food is always fresh coming from local California farms. The drink menu is solid with all of the staples and some with added twists. The owners Chris and Jenn are amazing, they and their staff are always kind and provide incredible service. Other points to consider are the burger of the month, a rotating culinary delight often themed and always delicious, and the establishment holds many different events from art shows, drink and paint, trivia and so many others. Honestly, it's always a great place with friendly people. Chris and Jenn are leaders in the community and work to not only provide delicious food, and a great experience but also work hard to make the community better. Would recommend, and do recommend to everyone and anyone. 5/5 stars.“

“Went there at 830a on a Saturday. No wait. So glad they have mimosas! Bonus! Got our drinks quick. Our food delivery was fast also. Our dishes were really good also. Our first time there and had good food for bfast. Will come back for lunch and dinner to taste those menus“

“I haven't been to rudfords in years, do to moving south. I was so hungry for the outstanding split pea soup on Saturday, still the best ever. So glad jordan is still working there, he is so delightful and and friendly, he is definitely a keeper. So glad exmanager jose is gone,. What a scan. “Folks we did a choose three hamburger spots of San Diego and choose Hodads out of a hat of three choices...At first arrival of the outside, we were about to leave... We get inside and from service to food to the atmosphere, my family and I enjoyed the burgers and onion/fries basket, milk shakes and soda.. Locals and visitors, PLEASE try Hodads in Downtown San Diego...I am sure that you will love them burgers like we did!!!“

“An awesome place to eat burgers, the biggest problem is what you would find in every In-N-Out to much people, this crowd makes the place dirty and makes difficult to get a good service. Even with that is a great place, thats why I give 5 starts.“

“Went here for my birthday with my family and there was excellent service and the food was outstanding! Will absolutely be coming back here in the future to try more of the menu! They took the fact that my daughter has celiac very seriously and made sure there was no cross contamination for her meal. 10/10 recommend. “Came here for lunch around noon on a Tuesday (8/11/26) on a coworker's recommendation, and it did not disappoint. It’s an unpretentious little spot right by the bay with fantastic views.

Service was friendly and fast. I ordered the All-American Burger, which comes with a side of pickles. The portion was huge, the patty was juicy, and the bun was perfectly toasted. While nearly $15 for a burger is a bit steep, the taste and the setting make it worth it. Highly recommend!“
