“Took the family to Burger Kook in Bonita this evening. This was the first time we visited and it was a fantastic dining experience. this is a Family business serving fine quality food in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We ordered the cheeseburger, the pizza burger, the teriyaki burger and corn dogs. Everything was terrific and the owners stopped by our table to check up, and we really enjoyed having a conversation with each of them. they make you feel so very welcome. definitely a do again. Lots more menu items to try.“

“Im here almost every day due to the proximity, however, the service has slowed down a little since the push to using the app, the inside order screens, and I'm thinking less employees per shift. I even see the managers having to pitch in to help more. I'm estimating I've been idling in this drive thru for over 20 minutes even though there were only a handful of cars ahead of me.“

“My roommate and I have been coming here for a while, it's easily one of our favorite regular spots. The atmosphere is stylish and gives off great vibes and always feels welcoming. The food is always fresh coming from local California farms. The drink menu is solid with all of the staples and some with added twists. The owners Chris and Jenn are amazing, they and their staff are always kind and provide incredible service. Other points to consider are the burger of the month, a rotating culinary delight often themed and always delicious, and the establishment holds many different events from art shows, drink and paint, trivia and so many others. Honestly, it's always a great place with friendly people. Chris and Jenn are leaders in the community and work to not only provide delicious food, and a great experience but also work hard to make the community better. Would recommend, and do recommend to everyone and anyone. 5/5 stars.“

“We went to lunch yesterday at the local In N Out burger. Of course it was delicious. That's the great thing about INO, no matter where in the country the food ALWAYS high quality and very consistent. Cant say that about many other fast food places. 😋“

“I was surprised to show up at 1:00 p.m. on a Thursday and see the line was completely empty! We order a food, drove up the first window to pay, and picked up our food at the second window with no delays. The employees were friendly outside Indian, and the food was delicious.“

“Saw this place on diners drive-ins and dives decades ago and FINALLY got to go. And the bacon cheeseburger was everything I hoped it to be; awesome. Atmosphere was everything I was expecting too.
Only downside to this place is it's in downtown San Diego and everything outside of the restaurant smells unappetizing; apparently the streets are an acceptable public restroom in CA.“

“Been here twice now and my opinion of this place only grows. Kinchana is as committed to the community as they are making great burgers. They created a place where people can come hangout while they eat rather than turn tables and you feel that immediately when you walk in. Do not sleep on the curry fries and the oyama burger, it’s 100% fire.“

“The best spot for a beer after a nice walk by the pier! And, if you are lucky, like we were, you can get a chance to listen to bands rehearsing for the evening event at the Rady Shell. The service was great, we didn't get food... but everything smelled delicious, and the atmosphere and the views were amazing!! Must check it out if you're looking for a relaxing stroll by the ocean.“

“This place is just great. Come here every once in a while for lunch on the weekdays, but today, they had Chilaquiles with Carnitas. Totopos were really good, salsa was AMAZING & the Carnitas... Anyway, I really hope they have them more often!!!“

“This place is seriously great food with great prices. There is really no need to ever get fast food with this place serving better food at the same price you would pay at fast food burger places. The staff is always wonderful and make it a great place to eat. My family and I have never been disappointed with the burgers, wings or tenders. If you are in the area, don't hesitate to stop here. “I havent been to a Boll Weevil since before 2019, they closed down the Chula Vista and Imperial Beach locations, but always liked their burgers and atmosphere. I found out there was one in La Mesa so I had to go and try their Super Cheeseburger and onion rings again (love their condiment tray). They did not dissappoint. Excellent food as I remember it being before!“
