Well if you like burgers this is definitely the place for it. Bring wet wipes or outdoor shower. ☺☺☺
Hodads in Downtown gots the juiciest, biggest burgers ever we ordered the single bacon cheeseburger and that bad boy was so big I asked my husband if I ordered correctly. We got half onion rings and half French fries. I have never had any onion rings as great as Hodads nice chunky onions and not a lot of breading. Saw this place on diners drive-ins and dives decades ago and FINALLY got to go. And the bacon cheeseburger was everything I hoped it to be; awesome. Atmosphere was everything I was expecting too.
Only downside to this place is it's in downtown San Diego and everything outside of the restaurant smells unappetizing; apparently the streets are an acceptable public restroom in CA.
