The food was extraordinary; each dish burst with authentic flavors that joyfully made my taste buds sing. The attention to detail in every plate was evident, showcasing the chef's expertise and dedication to traditional Italian cuisine. The pasta was cooked to perfection, sauces were rich and flavorful, and the ingredients were fresh and high-quality. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable and made the entire dining experience even more delightful. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience in San Diego. In my opinion, this establishment undoubtedly deserves the title of the best Italian restaurant in town.”
“Excellent food and very good service. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. It was expensive for breakfast, but great for a special occasion.”
“Pero mad Chingona! The shrimp basket was excellent. My guy brought me another beer since the kitchen was taking forever. 5/5. This place gets it and there is no better seafood on the peninsula!”

“My wife and I eat at Ciccia’s regularly but this is our first review after 4 years. Sorry Francesca and Mario! (In my defense I practically never ever write a review.) We keep coming back for the food, ambiance and hospitality. **We’ve gone 3 times in the last week! The crab gnocchi is my wife’s favorite. I get something different almost every time. Every visit I ask Mario about the specials as I like to sample the beef and/or fish (Branzino!) they prepare in addition to pasta. Try the Tomahawk steak if it’s a special that day (call ahead) and you will be amazed. Too many times we fill up on appetizers like mushroom flan, breaded zucchini, calamari, antipasto, and the choices go on! But that’s what to-go containers are for. So much good food to eat at Ciccias we tend to order too many things. It is simply fun to dine there. Once you’re inside the restaurant area (patio area or indoor area) the ambiance is quaint and cozy. Ciccia’s is not big and it’s always filled, but we never feel like it’s too crowded. The energy is always fun and upbeat. Which makes people stay awhile, so let me recommend getting reservations. We’ve had to wait 10-15 minutes but nothing’s perfect! If you want a breezy quick dinner before going off to an event you may want to go to Ciccia’s on another night. Hospitality is what you would expect of a small Italian restaurant run by the owners. Terrific!! If it’s your first time, read their story on the website before you go. They are bona fide top chefs who followed their dreams to open their own place. What a gem it is tucked inside Barrio Logan. One thing regulars may notice is that staff doesn’t appear to turn over much as I’ve seen the same faces working there for years. I think that reflects well on the restaurant. I don’t take pictures of food very often but last night I did. We stopped by at around 9 just to get dessert and a cocktail. My wife had the ricotta cake with apricot and habanero sauce (wow!) and I had cassata siciliana which is traditional cake from Sicily. Pretty to look at and yes, it’s delicious. They do a good job with making an Old Fashioned, which always pairs well with dessert 😜 Buon appetito!”

“Absolutely one of the best charcuterie boards we’ve ever had!! Great drinks, fabulous servers!!!”
“How many rooftop restaurants and bars can you think of in San Diego? Not many. This place is great and, so far, flying under the radar. The food menu is limited but excellent and the drinks are equally good. You have to try this place. We need to keep them in business. I see lines out the door places that are half as good. Get down here.”
“The reason why I came to 619 was because of Zack the bartender, I have never been in bar scene and never felt the family environment until I met Zack. If you want to feel a family environment and great vibes come to 619 and ask for ”
“Talk about talent. These creations not only blow your mind, but also your taste buds. I’ve first hand witnessed the time and effort it takes to create these pieces of art. Let me just say when you place an order from this company, you will not be disappointed. If you’re looking for a company that takes pride in its work, goes above and beyond the call of duty look no further. 10:10 from customer service to product.”
“Great chefs, great staff, great food, great sake… what’s not to like when everything was great!?!?”
“Very fun and lively atmosphere! The design is very well done. The food was great, I personally loved the oysters as they were served differently than I have experienced. The jalapeño Caesar salad was also amazing! Had a kick! Main dishes I enjoyed were the burger, and the chicken, very good and flavorful. Very fun and different cocktails to choose from along with fun zero proof options which is great if you do not drink alcohol. Service was spectacular, very kind, professional and knowledgeable about the menu. We will be coming back!”
“This has been one of my most memorable cocktail experiences - great service, quality work, cocktails made just for me - I recommend Zach was amazing and made cocktails that were perfect for Me. My favorite was the dessert cocktail - key like perfection”

“Super cute place & friendly staff! Of course the obvious, food was delicious! I got the new grilled chicken bowl. If you are considering it definitely don’t hesitate, give it a try!!”
“A cute little eatery in a small neighborhood downtown San Diego. A drink cuisine of a wide variety of wine. A unique eating cuisine with a mix of multiple things. I ordered Harissa chilled octopus (10/10 ~ chilled with a kick of spice and the fresh harissa sauce that was not too spicy), fresh baked focaccia (10/10 ~ well cooked with a soft and flakey texture. Sweet with a hint of olive oil), yellowtail aguachile (8/10 ~ some bites were a bit too fishy, but the sauce and pairing of the avocado was fabulous), and a eggplant tosta (6/10 ~ it was made well, but the flavors were not my pallet) Overall the service was five star, beautiful scenery, and I appreciated the candle light tough and the trees being illuminated as it hit dark”
“Be ready to be patient as it is very popular. The wait is definitely worth it. The service staff is very busy and attentive without hovering; the food is creative and delicious!”
“Enjoyed a tasty branzino with lemon caper sauce, Lemoncello cake, and good cocktails. Also enjoyed the personality and getting to know more about the business by talking with one of the owners, Flavio. Recommend and will return. Felt like family.”

“If you are looking for a true Italian experience in San Diego, look no further than Vinarius! We worked with Giuseppe (owner) to host our wedding celebration here back in March, 2023. From the beginning, he was amazing to work with. Incredibly positive and accommodating from the start, we couldn’t have asked for more. The wedding ceremony was planned to be outside and of course, it rained that day. Guiseppe and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, allowed us to have the small ceremony inside the restaurant on short notice and made an incredible meal to follow. Our guests were blown away and we couldn’t have been happier. We recommend Vinarius to everyone we know and that is thanks to Giuseppe and his awesome staff. Grazie mille!”

“I tried the carne asada and plantain mole taco. As a meat lover (I’m vegan or vegetarian when I want to be/as often as I can) the meat dubs are very delicious although since I do eat meat I preferred my plantain taco. It was so yummy!! I had it with the mild salsa and the salsa was so good I can’t complain there’s not more salsa options. Two tacos for $8.25. Can’t wait to visit again and try the other options.”
“Happily went to the wrong location! Awesome beer!”
“5 stars all around. Thank you Soichi for being my favorite restaurant in San Diego to dine at for the last 5 years. They are consistent in providing stellar sushi, friendly service with a smile, great hospitality, and a fun but chill ambiance. If it's your birthday, the chef will make you feel extra special with a serenade. They also consistently provide gluten free omakase at the restaurant; I feel just as welcomed as any other diner.
Thank you always.
Parking isn't bad. Reservations go out on the 1st of every month at noon; waitlists are available... stay vigilant and be patient. It's worth it!”
“This restaurant checked all the boxes for a noon time lunch. The location itself, we sat on the patio, was beautiful. The menu had everything we liked and it tasted even better. Very worldly and thoughtful to vegans and vegetarians as well. That is a must on menus today like it or not. Great place to take visiting guests too as they will be impressed with the whole experience since it sits inside such a beautiful park. Bravo!”
“This will be quicker than my usual review.
The atmosphere was welcoming, warm, and soft. This place is a smaller venue with a large amount of seating. The color tones are unique and draw the eyes from one accent to another. This is a beautiful place.
Service was nothing short of expected and even felt like it was over my usual expectations. The barista's did an amazing job service my latte in a timely manner. This place has a steady number of customers and would love to see thuer performance during peak hours.
Overall, I would definitely come here again. Without trying others in the area, this would be a frequent favorite.”
“Can't believe I've forgotten to review ichifuji! Long story short, we've been here as much as our budget can allow, and we've loved it every time. These chefs are real masters, and they are every inch up to a Michelin star if they want one. Eat here if you can, the reservations will only get harder and harder to book!”
“The best New York Pizza in San Diego, and I'm from the Bronx! Go, go, go! You'll love the pizza by the slice, two slices and a drink or a pie. All of them are amazing. My favorite is the Whitestone pizza and the Porko!”
“Service and ambiance, exceptional service and night life… live dj, good musical and still able to have conversation”
“Our server Cam was awesome and food was great! Got to try it. Great dumplings!!!”
“Came here just for cocktails. We just moved from New York and found the cocktails to be just what we needed! Excellent attention to detail and artistic menu. Will definitely be coming back for more drinks and potentially some of the food.”
“As Italian, born and raised in Naples Italy, I always look for restaurants that can give me, food wise, that "home" feeling and I hot the jackpot with this restaurant! Thanks to Antonio (chef and owner) that serve the food as close as possible to our food, I was immediately transported in Naples. The pizzas, the panuozzos, the appetizers, the dessert, everything was so delicious. I highly suggest this restaurant if you want a real Italian experience this is the right place for you and on top of that is not even expensive lile many other fake Italian restaurants. Good Job guys!”
“Hey I just want to say the Luna grill down in Carmel valley was amazing and I want to give a special thank you to Athena for helping me out with my order she was polite and made sure i got everything I needed I recommend anyone that loves Mediterranean food check out this location 2 thumbs up will be back”

“Wayfarer's croissants boast a crisp, golden exterior that gives way to a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth interior. They strike a perfect balance of richness and lightness, making them a delightful choice for any time of day. and veggie sandwich is a fresh and satisfying blend of crisp vegetables nestled between freshly baked bread. It's a healthy and flavorful option that's perfect for a quick bite or a light meal. A nice place to chill and enjoy good time. ?”
“Normally I like to keep gems like this to myself, but walking through literal back alleys in San Diego to be introduced to this incredible Hi-Fi listening speakeasy was just too awesome and I hope everyone I love gets a chance to get on the reservation list, stat. I'm a speakeasy veteran with a coast to coast cocktail sipping resume that spans from SF to Boston and New Orleans to Chicago, and this spot has definitely landed in my top ten. The atmosphere, the staff, the tunes, and the drinks are all so special and perfectly curated for maximum delight. Every aspect of CMB is comfortable and balanced, and so very easy to enjoy. They found a great groove and kept it going.”
“"Wow, what a hidden gem! I recently visited this place and was blown away by the best dumplings I've ever had! The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity you receive. The restaurant itself is cozy and welcoming, with courteous owners and staff who made us feel right at home.
We ordered the Beef Noodle Soup, Green Onion Pancake, and Chicken and Corn Dumplings - and everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and savory, and the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. I was particularly impressed by the variety of options and the care taken in preparing each.
I highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic, mouthwatering dumplings and other delights. The owners and staff are warm and attentive, and the food is truly exceptional. Don't miss out on this culinary gem!" 5/5 stars!”
“My girlfriend took me here for a surprise dinner date. Easily one of the best meals I’ve EVER had!
Not only was the setting very intimate, the service was top notch…
Now on to the food… Every single bite was an explosion of different complementing flavors. The quality of the fish was as good as it gets and the chefs focused on making sure each dish was a unique combination of complimenting flavors.
12/10 restaurant, easily the best sushi I’ve ever had (even better than the sushi I’ve had in Japan).
I will 100% be coming back, totally worth the price!!”

“Lunch at the terrace, a small area with around 8 tables is very nice. Staff is very friendly, they have a short but complete lunch menu and an excellent wine list and a good sommelier.”
“Great place, great food, service is excellent, everybody is having a good time and it shows, this place is a must in SD, whether you go as a couple or with friends, definitely recommended!!!”
“Best food, drink, service and atmosphere I have experienced in a long time. Rivals Michelin restaurants.”
“The shrimp head moving scared the crap out of me but everything was delicious and awesome”
“Fabulous food served in a no-frills, casual atmosphere. The service was excellent and Chef Luciano Cibelli comes out of the kitchen and checks with every table to see how diners are doing. Great place to celebrate a special occasion. We enjoyed the seafood fettucini, chicken parmesian, and the catch of the day, which was sea bass on a bed of roasted vegetables, with beet purée and a delicious beurre blanc. Delish!”
“Have you ever seen the anime Bartender Glass of God? That's exactly how it was! Sam and Amadeus behind the counter was outstanding. The conversation were intriguing, a little deep, but also seen and heard. Stories were told, futures were hoped for, and the present was lived.”
“Very high-end steakhouse with an incredible ambiance and wait stuff! Although the menu is very pricey, everything on the menu seemed unique and very well-thought out for ease of ordering. Highly recommend!”
“We enjoyed a fantastic brunch at Madi and the experience was worth the Uber trip from our hotel in the Marina. The customer service exceeded our expectations and the menu items were unique and flavorful. We sat on the patio and the noise level was perfect for conversation. We look forward to a return visit on our next trip to San Diego.”

“Very neat place in old barracks. Busy at times, but with tall ceilings, it gives you some room to breathe. So many fun different shops. Great food to try. We got some food and enjoyed it outside on the benches. I would definitely recommend making a trip over here for some unique food and cool atmosphere.”

“I haven't been to rudfords in years, do to moving south. I was so hungry for the outstanding split pea soup on Saturday, still the best ever. So glad jordan is still working there, he is so delightful and and friendly, he is definitely a keeper. So glad exmanager jose is gone,. What a scan. K sorry about Diane's passing, I really liked her. Keep up the good work. Spinach omelette for awesome, wow.”

“One of the best sourced nutritional treats in the pet space. They are not just making super quality treats , they provide resourceful information and truthful education to pet parents. Keep, keepin’ it real. We are thankful and grateful for your work.”
“Tried this spot for lunch for the first time. Will definitely be back. Atmosphere might turn some away because it’s got some wear and tear but food quality is good and service was good.
I ordered the crispy taco and tostada combo. Both were great and the side of rice and beans were both delicious. The salsa bar had some tasty options as well.”
“Great food good service. Always busy which means good food totally satisfied ! Thanks Colima’s see you again soon”
“The food was devine. The service was impeccable. The ambience was great. However, my only complaint was the table. I made a reservation over a week in advance and was still sat at a small table top literally right next to the door. The hostess was asked if other accommodations were available to which she abruptly and matter of factly responded, “this is all that's available.” I was there on time (early in fact) and more efforts could have been made to have me wait for a better positioned table to be available for guests who make reservations. What was the point of making the reservation?!?”
“Robertos adobada is to DIE for. Tried the carne asada fries and adobada fries. Delicious!!!! I have only found adobada in Mexico! So I was happy. Came back to try the California Adobada Burrito but they gave us carne asada :(. Still delicious.”
“As about authentic Mexican food as you can get. You could literally eat here for lunch for over a week and still not hit all the items available on the menu. I ordered 3 tacos and was stuffed. I will be back again. Good prices to boot!”
“LAS PERSONAS QUE NOS ATENDIERON FUERON MUY AMABLES Y SIEMPRE CON UNA SONRISA Y BUENA ACTITUD POSITIVA”
“Great service with a smile. The food was great, the coffee just the perfect mix and the croissant was extra flaky and buttery. The entire trip was a kick relaxation from running errands around town the whole day. I'll certainly be coming back around whenever I'm back in the area.”

Takeout Restaurants
“Such a good coffee shop. Seriously incredible tasting coffee and an interesting variety in their menu. Options on the menu are perfect as it isn’t too overwhelming to choose a drink (which is a pet peeve of mine). They also have gifts for purchase at the front including a curated package of everything to make their Hanoi Egg Coffee. I have it all at home and I am in love. If I could rate Saigon 6 stars I would.”
“Best ice cream I’ve ever had. My friend got me the strawberry rhubarb crisp and it was so delicious! I just went on the Facebook page and found out it was vegan and gluten free. I had no idea. It was seriously the best ice cream I’ve ever had.”

“This was an amazing experience. The flavors are unique and delicious. With three vegan flavors available (I am vegan-and their options were fantastic), and the rest all delicately balanced with exquisite flavor (as per my wife/son's recommendations). They give you a flavor taste test of all the flavors and it is very difficult to pick from all of the unique flavors. The biggest draw for me was the repressing of the previous store's brand/look/SIGNAGE as a dry cleaners and repressing it to be an Ice creamery. Brilliant idea, and it definitely works. Please support this establishment...you will be so happy you did.”
“Food was some of the best I’ve ever had! Delicious ceviche and tacos!”

“Great experience and quality of food. Their hummus is one of my favorites! I have frequent here for the past couple weeks and I must say I am happy with the quality of food and reasonable price point! Their Jeera rice is one of my favorites and the Daal was seasoned nicely. I will add photos in days to come, as I will be a returning customer!”
“We went to this place because my husband felt like having Shawarma and I also wanted to try Middle Eastern food. The place was clean, and the lady taking orders at the front was friendly. Although they were busy in the kitchen at lunchtime, the food didn't take long to wait, which was nice. The food was great, and we will definitely go back for sure!
Parking: It’s pretty difficult to find a spot”
“We went to visit my grandma in Texas recently and we decided to try Haidilao in Frisco. How about 10 stars!! Soup was amazing and friendly staffs. Employee Mei was amazing! She made us felt at home and really took care of my daughter Maylee. Highly recommend Mei.”

“My favorite thing on Convoy. The icecream is so yummy and the taiyaki cone is so creative and cute. Went with family—I got ube with fruity pebbles and a custard taiyaki. It’s so wonderful and fun to eat. They give you the cutest spoon (I’ve kept it for memory sake). This dessert is going to haunt my dreams. I live in the Midwest and I fear I will never recover.”
“If "Originality" were part of the rating structure, I would have to give 6 Stars. Without question, outstanding food (the best caramelized onion flatbread pizza imaginable), indoor, outdoor, handy location, fabulous desserts, gelato. Everything is perfect. But on top of that, they periodically have something like a High Tea, and even a thoroughly enjoyable Dinner Opera revue (which I did go to, and will again). The owners are a delight, and they are trying to improve the community. They succeed. Brava. Bravo. Grazie mille.”
“It’s a beautiful restaurant in Carmel. It’s delicious. Serving sizes are huge and healthy. I loved all the healthy choices they had. I ended up trying the beat salad. It was amazing!”
“Delicioso! Súper la atención y los sabores exquisitos”
“I have been going to Kakawa Coffee almost daily for a couple of years. Best cup of coffee around and I love the "mom & pop" setting. I always try to do business with locals -- you can't go wrong trying Kakawa! (The Americano is my fav.)”

“Try the mango ceviche! This is probably the best marisco spot in the area and customer service doesn’t fall short. Both gentlemen who helped me out were so nice”

“Yummy local coffee, great and efficient customer service! One of my favorite coffee shops!”
“I was needing a fast bite and decided to stop at this spot. I had the burrito combo, and the chicken was amazing. I appreciated the service and efficiency with which I was serviced. Ericka, the employee who served me, was really nice and pleasant, and she assisted me in determining what to order; I will definitely stop again! Thank you for this wonderful experience, Ericka!”
“they gave me a free cookie with my salad, always a great time coming here! thank you to all plant power workers, you guys are awesome!!!
Vegetarian options: ALL VEGAN”
“I love the Cali style wrap, it’s my go to and big enough to have leftovers or split with someone. This place is a little pricey and a little slow which is why I take off one star. The cashier is warm and friendly and she gave me a drink on the house for the long wait which I really appreciated. I hope this spot stays as there’s nothing else like it near north park.”
“Became a regular here pretty quickly bringing various members of my family here to try new items. The Jamaica and Horchata are made in house and really good rich in flavor, my kid doesn’t like horchata normally but could not stop drinking this version. Tried the Menudo, Pazole, Super Burrito, Rolled Tacos, and none have disappointed yet. Today was the Campechana, delicious!”
“By far the Best Thai food in San Diego !! don't miss out.”
“It’s the best smash burger in San Diego. There, I said it. Fair price, no price gouging here at all which is very rare nowadays. And yes we all know the Friendly is great (whom I also love), but RomBom takes my pick.”

“My family and I were visiting San Diego for my daughters 21st birthday. I thought of everything but the cake. I called Kona Kakes on Friday hoping for a cake by Sunday, I was told they are closed on Sunday, so they could have it ready on Saturday. We were enjoying the zoo Saturday and I completely forgot about the cake. It was after store hours but I tried to reach them by phone anyways, the owner answered and said she would wait for us to arrive. This in itself was truly amazing, but the cake! The cake was beautiful, delicious, moist, decadent, and extremely flavorful! We had the Caramel Macadamia Nut Cake. Everyone and most of all, my daughter loved the cake! If you live near Kona Kakes then count yourself blessed and try this place. I wish there was a Kona Kakes in Las Vegas.”
“Shaun stands out as the most extraordinary restaurant manager I've ever had the pleasure of encountering. His service wasn't just outstanding—it was genuinely awe-inspiring. As a solo diner, Shaun made an extra effort to ensure I felt incredibly welcomed. His dedication to going above and beyond was evident in his eagerness to share fascinating insights about the kitchen, catering perfectly to my enthusiasm as a food aficionado. While the cuisine at Addison was nothing short of superb, it was Shaun's unparalleled service that elevated the entire experience to divine heights. His warm, understanding, and inviting personality made every interaction memorable. The thoughtful gesture of a sweet little treat upon departure was the cherry on top of a flawlessly coordinated dining experience. Having visited other Michelin-starred establishments, I can confidently place Addison in my top three worldwide dining experiences, largely thanks to Shaun's exceptional touch. Truly, a delightful experience in every sense.”
“Food and ambiance was excellent! We celebrated our 35th anniversary. Robert our server was attentive and very professional. We had rose petals, card and they had an Anniversary dessert plate for us!! We will be back.”
“It was my first time trying this place. Everything was set up when we got there. Jenny and Ximena were so kind and ready to have us there. We were introduce to the chefs of the day, Chef Earvin and Chef Pete. The food was amazing! We were told all about where the head chef gets all of the fresh fish and every plate was explained as we received it at the table. Every plate was switch out in order for our palettes to remain intact, to not mix sauces and ruin the taste of the next plate. We even had the owner come to the table and say hello! We had a delicious sake at the table. The food was so delicious, tasteful and fresh. Of all the plates we ordered, it is hard to decide on a favorite when they were all amazing. Thank you Jenny and Ximena and the chefs again, Chef Earvin and Chef Pete! You made our experience amazing and memorable.”

“The Prestige - Magic Lounge & Showroom, San Diego is a magical experience that i would say everyone should experience in there lives. It is so amazing. I give it 5 Star Plus. You can swing by and get a handcrafted drink and watch some of the best magicians in the world entertain you, on the world famous closeup stage, or you can reserve at spot for the dinner show, which i say is the best. its a whole experience, you get a multi course meal, which is the best. The Chef at Presige is World Renown. He is amazing, and artist with food. The food and the plating is top notch. Im a mac and cheese guy and its the best mac and cheese i have ever had. Also the prime rib is so delicious and mouth watering too. They have so many options for food choices, you can even add more food options if you want more courses of food. the magic in the dinner show is spell binding for sure. the magicians that you see on fool us and on agt and on tv shows, many of them are the magicians on the stage during the theater dining show. the theatre is so intimate and so comfortable. every seat is a good seat. also the decor is so beautiful too. if you go bring your camera, because you are going to take many pictures, trust me. they have many banners of famous magicians from the past. they do an amzing job honoring the giants in magic, and also at the bar area, tv playing with footage of magic greats too . its like disneyland, the staff, bar tenders, servers, back of house, all the house magicians, do a top notch job, they work so hard to provide the best service. Every time i come there, they always exceed my expectations. I love this place so much and this you will love it too. go check it out”
“We absolutely loved the happy hour pizza selection. They are big, so light and absolutely delicious. The calamari was not the best. We were hoping it would be a little crispier, a little more flavorful, a little more variety. There was just the squid and baby octopus and a couple red peppers. The cacio e pepe was nothing too special either. It's light which is nice. Lobster pasta had a nice little kick to it but could use a little more seasoning for the price. The waiters and servers were AMAZING. so so so sweet, caring, but gave us space as needed. Have great suggestions and just so very friendly. My husband got a flat coke (pretty shocking cuz it was not a cheap coke lol) and they tried a couple different taps to get him one a little more carbonated. They packed up our meal for us which was lovely. I loved the ambiance and service. Food was okay.”
