“The food was delicious and fresh. The service was good the waitress had her hands full she was the only one there serving everybody and attending the cash register. There was no AC the place was extremely hot but overall the food made up for everything. The pupusas were outstanding. I would highly recommend this place“

“If you are looking for authentic Salvadoran food, you absolutely have to give Cuscatlan a try. This place is a wonderful little hole-in-the-wall, and it easily serves the best pupusas I’ve ever had in San Diego!
The food is incredibly delicious and packed with flavor. It's not just the pupusas either, everything from the savory beans and fresh salsa to the perfectly seasoned curtido and sweet platanos is outstanding.
On top of the phenomenal food, the service is top-notch. The owner is extremely nice, kind, humble, and very helpful. It is rare to find a spot that hits the perfect trifecta of amazing flavor, great service, and genuine hospitality. Do yourself a favor and check them out!“
