“First time visiting this restaurant, my husband found it online as we were heading home to LA. Great customer service, good food, great atmosphere, very small parking area. I was just surprised that we were charged for the curtido. We have visited many Salvadorian restaurants and we have never been charged for the curtido. But other than that I can say that we had a good experience.“

“So delicious. We ordered 3 pupusas alone with no sides. Beans and cheese, mixed, and chorizo with cheese. All delicious. We also had a corn tamal and it was amazing - fluffy and sweet. Service was a little slow but I can’t be mad since there were only 2 servers and the place was packed. I don’t care for atmosphere as long as the food is good, this is a small place in a strip mall. It’s not going to be pretty and cute. But the food, so good!“

“After hearing about pupusas for so long, I was so happy that my first time experiencing them was at Cuscatlán because I cannot recommend this place enough. It has amazing quality dishes and even better deals, with a lunch special that extend to 4 p.m. for those like myself that usually have late lunches.
Besides the great pupusas (the chorizo and the zucchini ones were perfect), the thing I loved the most about the restaurant was the service. They were so friendly and lovely, that made me feel at home even if I was confused the first time I listened to someone ordering an Ensalada! :)
